Pop's is my go-to for a quick and awesome breakfast sandwich. I'm in and out in 5 minutes and the service is top notch, if there's any issues it's the parking but there's a small strip mall across the street if need be (I have yet to do that though). In a roundabout way to get from upstate NY to JFK, we jumped off the highway to get gas in Wharton, NJ. We needed some breakfast and love to find small local places. Pop's came up on the map and we instantly knew it would be amazing. Love it when we are right! This family owned business comes with the friendliest family owners and the most delicious bagels, which are handmade daily!!! This bagel shop was a wonderful discovery as we were driving through PA/NJ to NYC. It was 5 a.m. and the place was jumping with locals and drivers wanting take-out breakfasts. We had delicious bagels right out of the oven, and the fresh trays of hot bagels kept coming out. Coffee was good, too, but the bagels were as good as any in NYC. The manager was exceptionally friendly, coming over to chat with us obvious visitors when he could. This place is worth a 5-minute detour north on Rt. 15 from I-80 in Wharton. We'll try to schedule future trips to make a stop here for breakfast or lunch. One other benefit is that this shop is a 5-minute drive from a Costco gas station, so we could fill up at the same time. read more

Heard this was the best bagel shop in NJ, so we went after meeting family for breakfast in Morristown. It was about 25 minutes, and 50 minutes from home, so I really wanted to love these bagels. Bagels we got at noon on Sunday were 5 stars. Slight crunch on the outside and airy in the middle... this is exactly the way a bagel is supposed to be cooked. I am taking off 1 star because with 3 hours to go in the work day, especially on a Sunday, their selection was basically down to everything and plain. You have to do better than that and have some selection, even if you do open insanely early. Also, the parking lot looks like it's been bombed in an air raid- there guys need to hire a paving company to fix that ASAP. Would I drive an hour to go back again? No. Would I be pumped if this was my local shop? You bet. read more

Love this spot, me and the wife come here semi regular for about 3 years now. We just get bagels and coffee and my review of 5 stars is based solely on those items. Pretty chill atmosphere and the owner is almost always at the cash register and is open to conversation which I like but not in an intrusive way. I'm a huge fan of local-run businesses like this. Not only do they produce amazing bagels but their customer service is also great. The young boys working the counter were so sweet and kind I wanted to give them a big hug before we left! I stopped by while visiting my sister who lives in the area and I'm so glad she introduced this place to us. The family was making the bagels fresh when we came in, for the second time that week, on sunday morning around 630am so we had the freshest ones to pick from. They are so fresh you don't even need to toast them when you take them home, the crust is already crisp while the insides are moist and fluffy. And they're Huge bagels! One will leave you plenty satisfied for hours. They don't have 50 different kinds of bagels but that's part of what makes them great. They have the basics, including various cream cheese spreads, and they do them Very well. One day I ordered a breakfast bagel with Taylor ham, egg, & cheese on a whole wheat everything bagel = bomb.com. Also the first bagel shop I know that makes French Toast Bagels...you may now drool :) Being a huge foodie I normally don't make repeat visits to the same establishments but for Pop's I'll always make an exception, wish they'd open up a spot near me in Los Angeles! read more

Their bagel game is pretty on point. Could be a little more dense but the hook it up with mad Taylor ham on that THEC. I went for lunch the other day and got a chicken Caesar wrap and it was pretty beat. Their everything bagel doesn't have salt on it so it's not an everything bagel. read more

We were in town and picked up a few bagels for a family get-together. First time I've ever really tried a bagel (true story), and these were so good! They've now set the standard for every bagel I cross paths with, in the future. I tried the Blueberry and Whole Wheat - WOW were they yum - great texture and so fresh! My guy really liked the Onion bagels, but for me they were just a bit too 'strong' in smell / flavour. The prices here are super reasonable, and the bagels are HUGE. I also like that they have 'mini' bagels, for peeps like myself who can't finish a full one. Pretty sure we'll be returning for more, when in town again! read more
