When you enter, you are greeted as soon as they see you. Ordering is easy. They take cash or all kinds of cards. Their menu used to be quite large, but it looks like it is back to being basic. The food is greatly priced for the delicious well-made stuff. I like ordering and getting the bbq ribs plate and a whole chicken by itself. The food is very good and very satisfying. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside seating area is large, plenty of space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Pops chicken is located on the corner of Saticoy and Tujunga in sun valley. There's also a little grocery store right next to it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as I walked in I got that family owned restaurant type of vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered two 2 piece combos one with rice and beans. White meat for both. Other one with Cole slaw and potato salad. Chicken itself was grilled. Good size pieces. Now as for the sides: the rice was kinda flavorless and beans tasted pretty basic. Didn't enjoy it so I didn't finish it. Kinda wish I got the slaw and potato salad instead! The salsa on the side tasted super sour and not spicy at all idk maybe it was expired or something. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was kinda hot inside I had to turn on the fan cause I started to sweat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 3.5 out of 5 stars

Food was delicious! Parking was awesome! Wish the menu prices were posted on yelp and the menu indoors was missing prices. It would have been nice if the lady who took my order told me it was nearly the same price to get a second chicken as it was Friday and it was their daily special.

The best part of this location is the owner's willingness to make sure his grilled chicken was one of the best in the Valley. It was very flavorful 5 star. The srvice was equally as good from the owner. The burrito lacked flavor and was too dry, loaded with rice. The ambiance feels like they are going out of business. Darker than expected like they are teyingnto cut back on overhead. They've been in business for about 8 years and I wish them many more years of successful operations. Keep it going Gabriel!

I've been spying to this spot via yelp for a month now and today I finally got my lazy butt to drive over here. It was a little odd how the parking lot is way in the back. When you come in it's pretty empty maybe they have more customers later in the evening time. When we came in we wanted the grilled wings we saw in the pictures. The lady told me no they don't have that. I showed her the pictures and told her i would pay for it if they can give me just wings. She was super nice and pulled some strings. They guy grilling outside was also super nice. Thank you for catering to my wishes lol. I will def come back here. The flavor is amazing and I love the fire grilled taste

Came based on the 4 stars Pops has Customer service was good the guy greeted up and explaned what was in the chix burrito. He said the chix was the best and went on to let us sample a wing. No dening it the wings were delicious We order chix burritos which for me had to much rice which made it dry I do recommend the chicken

The chicken breast was incredibly juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. What really made the bowl special was how many fresh toppings it came with. The sweet corn, flavorful kale, fresh tomato salsa, and perfectly seasoned garbanzo beans each brought something different to the dish, so every bite had a little variety. It never felt repetitive, and every ingredient elevated the bowl to the next level. The crispy pita and hummus were another highlight. The pita had a satisfying crunch, and the hummus wasn't the usual plain version. It was topped with a blend of flavorful spices that added depth and made it seriously addictive. We also ordered the quarter dark chicken, which came with two very generous sides. Both the regular fries and sweet potato fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. What impressed me most was that every component of the meal was thoughtfully prepared. Nothing felt like an afterthought. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh and healthy, and the seasoning was spot on from start to finish. It's rare to find a place where even the kale, garbanzo beans, and side dishes are memorable, but Girl & the Chicken pulled it off. If I'm back in Burbank, this will definitely be one of my first stops.

If you're looking for real deal heat with flavor to back it up, this Nashville hot chicken spot…read moreabsolutely delivers!! I came in ready to test my spice tolerance and ordered their tenders in the Blazin level, (second hottest) and their chicken sando in Punisher, (the hottest they've got). Let me just say... they do NOT play around when it comes to spice. Starting with the tenders: I got them in Blazin', and the color alone lets you know you're in for something serious. The seasoning was deep red and coated generously, and every bite had that signature Nashville style smoky, with that cayenne kick. The heat builds gradually and lingers in the best way. The chicken itself was juicy inside and with a crispy, well seasoned crust that didn't fall apart. You can tell it's freshly fried! Not dry, not greasy, just perfectly cooked. The tenders come with fries and slaw, and I'm glad they do because you NEED the balance. The crinkle-cut fries were hot, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and lightly salted. Simple but done perfectly right. They were perfect for cooling down between bites of the Blazin tenders. The slaw was fresh and slightly creamy to cut through the heat. It wasn't overly mayo heavy, which I appreciated. It actually complemented the spice instead of weighing everything down. Now let's talk about the chicken sando in Punisher. I had to mentally prepare for this one. Punisher is their hottest level, and they mean it! The heat hits quicker and stronger than Blazin and it absolutely lives up to the name. But again, it's not just painful heat, it's also super flavorful. There's that deep chili flavor before the spice fully takes over. The chicken filet was thick, juicy, and perfectly crispy. The bun was soft and lightly toasted. Every bite was intense but addictive. If you love extreme spice challenges but still want quality flavor, this is it. Portion sizes were great, definitely filling. Everything tasted fresh, and the spice levels felt authentic, not watered down. You can tell they take pride in staying true to that Nashville hot style. Overall, if you're a non-spice lover, (because they also do have that option) a spice lover, or even just wanting to test your limits, this place is worth it. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for having me!

Jalepeno poppers didn't have any filling, felt like I was just eating batter. Mac & cheese was the worst item by far. Not enough cheese and no flavor. The chicken sandwiches were disappointing, not enough flavor. Both my wife and I felt sick after taking a few bites.

My friend got the Wings & Fries Combo, $23.15 and I decided on the 3-Bone Meal Deal, $24.25. The Wings & Fries come with your choice of seasoning and she got the garlic-Parmesan - which she liked a lot. Her wings were tender and tasty with the traditional in-house sauce. This also came with a soft drink, water or bottled iced tea. The 3-Bone Meal Deal, comes with 3 super tender pork ribs and your choice of sauce. This is fork tender! The traditional bbq sauce is quite tasty! This combo comes with two sides, I got the Mac n' cheese - yummy, but there was, weirdly, corn in it. Also got the pineapple coleslaw which is just so-so - very mild and not much flavor. I ordered the unsweetened pure leaf iced tea. We were both satisfied with the service- the gentleman was standing out in the sun in the parking lot -waiting for me to drive up. Thank you! We would order from Belly Rubb again when in the area and in the mood for awesome BBQ.

When we arrived, we were given a basket of chips with bean dip while we waited for our food. The bean dip was a great surprise and had a nice kick with a lot of flavor. They also have a salsa bar available, but honestly, we never even needed it because everything tasted so good on its own. My wife had the chicken taquito combo, which came with rice and beans, and I had the carne asada and cheese enchilada plate, which also came with rice, beans, and three tortillas (I chose flour). The food was extremely tasty, perfectly seasoned, and came in very generous portions. One plate could easily feed two people. We were STUFFED!! My wife's chicken taquitos were packed with flavorful chicken, and my carne asada plate really caught me by surprise. I was expecting maybe one portion of carne asada, but it came with THREE large pieces! The food was so good that it didn't need any extra salt, salsa, or seasoning. It was already that good!! We also ordered two blended mango margaritas, and they were delicious! They were a good size, full of flavor, and the perfect addition to the meal. The only downsides to our experience were the parking and a couple of small service issues. Parking is very limited, but that also shows how busy and popular this place is. We were told there would be a 15 to 20 minute wait when we checked in, but we were seated after only about a minute, so that was a nice surprise. Our server also didn't really come by to check on us during the meal, which normally would be a problem. However, because everything tasted great and we didn't really need anything, it wasn't a big issue this time. Another thing to note is that they have different cash and credit card prices. I'm personally not a fan of that and would rather see one set price that factors in the cost of doing business, but at least we knew about it ahead of time and it wasn't a surprise. Overall, this place was a 5 star experience for us!! The food, portions, and flavors were all amazing. We loved this place and are definitely looking forward to coming back again.

They've got a good-sized bar, but the booths are just as comfortable if you're looking for something more relaxed. The bean dip is absolutely delicious, and the chicken taquitos and margaritas are made to perfection. My family and I have also ordered catering from them for our Christmas parties, and although it's first-come-first-served (which can be a bit of a hassle), it was completely worth it. The amount of food we got for the price quoted was an absolute steal. Since this is their best location in my opinion, it does get packed and you can end up waiting a while. But it's worth it every time, especially given how great the food is. The staff is wonderful too, doing a great job of taking orders and getting everything out in a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint is the parking; it's quite limited, so consider yourself lucky if you find a spot!
