We've needed a place like this for a while. The concept is so simple yet it alludes us, beer and seafood... yeah. I was looking for a michelada when I came across this place on Yelp. Let's just say I had mixed drinks the night before and needed something for my cruda! My bloodshot eyes got big when we drove up and saw the cartoon shrimp with a michelada in his hand.... "we've arrived." The ceviche, aguachiles, peel and eat shrimp, are so good! We also ordered Tostilocos Marineros, cause I've never seen that before. My only complaint is that they didn't carry Carta Blanca. And the menu is a little confusing, go by the take out menu instead. read more

I am on cloud nine, that we FINALLY! have a Marisco Restaurant that I can say is OUTSTANDING....... Last week my Wife, Daughter and I came here for the first time and tried the following. Ceviche De Camaron: Absolutely Freaking Delicious, the best I have ever had seriously. Aguachiles Verdes: Were on Point, perfectly spicy, right amount of lemon, purple onion and cucumbers compliment it nicely. Ceviche De Pescado: was super spicy, but a good kind of spicy with flavor, you would love it. Tacos Gobenardor: I did not have them but according to my Wife & Daughter they are Superb. I HIGHLY recommend this place, I believe they are the same owners of the Mole De Diosas place that burned down next door. If in fact they are I would say one thing..... You have something going here, expand to a larger place (Maybe Next Door) and make this place the one to beat, absolutely delicious Happy you are in the valley beats my family and I having to drive to L.A. This place has only been open a couple of months but I know it's going to be a neighborhood favorite. It was about time MY BLOCK got a joint like this. Good mariscos & beer! Micheladas on another level at that. It's a small place, somewhat hidden but they have their own parking lot. A few tables inside & 3 tables outside. The menu consists of ceviche, campechanas, shrimp/fish tacos & a few other seafood dishes. I must say the star of the show is their fried shrimp taco (crunchy af = heaven). You get 2 per order & is served with rice & a small salad. They also give you a green salsa for your tacos but pour it over your rice for extra bangin rice! The grilled shrimp tacos come 3 per order with no sides. Order at the register & they will bring it out to you in to-go boxes. So don't jump to conclusions that they don't want you there when you get a to-go box, I mean unless you mobbed up with 4 thieves of joy you call bundles of joy running amok then perhaps it was a hint on behalf of allllll of us. Service was excellent, the place is kept very clean, there is seating outside also, they have a variety of botanas, ie; mexican style cocktail shrimp or campechana, seafood tostadas, tacos, caldos,the food was so delicious definitely fresh. When placing the order for aguachile the young man cashier suggested the regular one verses the Ensenada style one- that is super spicy unless you like spicy hot, the regular one in salsa verde-green salsa was spicy hot but not too much, that came along with crackers and tostadas, the lady that was preparing the dishes asked if we would like to try the nopal style chips, those were definitely good, the shrimp empanadas were crispy outside and full of flavors inside, the shrimp tacos were very crunchy and delicious,that includes side fresh salad and white rice, the campechana was full of flavorful included shrimp, oyster, abulon ,crunchy cucumbers, onions, will definitely be back especially if you are in the mood for fresh seafood and don't have time to make it, prices are resonable, they only accept cash. read more

I came to the day of the grand opening on Saturday at 4pm. I ordered a fish taco plate it came with salad and rice . I ordered to drink there fresh nopal with pineapple drink . The drink was awful to me so I had to spice it up with my own shot . The fish taco just had the fish so it was really plan and greasy . My fiancé ordered a mix cocktail and a Michelada . They gave him the Michelada and it didn't look like there one on there ad . It taste to waterly . The cocktail sucked they put a few shrimp and the oyster or octopus they put in there was raw . Found this business on yelp last night while searching for ceviche delivery. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, fish tacos and shrimp ceviche (ceviche de Camaron). Everything was very good and the ceviche de Cameron was by far the BEST my husband and I have ever had! We will not be eating ceviche from anywhere else from now on. Their portion sizes are very generous and the food presentation is neat and appetizing to look at. I'm happy we found them on yelp and can't wait to order again. Hubby and i we're craving micheladas n mariscos for a Sunday funday:) my husband works a block away from this place and has been wanting to give it a try. So we did and I'm happy we did! It's a little hole in the wall restaurant only had a few seats. Thank god it wasn't busy when we got there. We were able to seat down right away the waitress attended us quickly! She brought us chips and salsa handed us a menu. We both had a Michelada and aguachiles we also tried the camarones al mojo de ajo! We enjoy every sip and bit! I'm glad we gave this place a try. Was driving by and saw this place and definitely caught my attention. Decided to stop buy and get some seafood .... The menu wasn't as wide as I imagined it to be but it had your essentials. Ordered a large (was told it was for 4 tostadas) shrimp ceviche $13 to go. Waited 5-6 min and got it . Got home and noticed they had packed a bag of regular and nopales chips so that was a plus! Opened the box and definitely noticed it wasn't for 4 tostadas. Overall the ceviche was pretty good, a little too much on the onions and the tomato and not enough shrimp but good taste and with some tapatio it was a bit better. Aguachiles in salsa negra is outstanding but very spicy. The salsa negra is spicy but packed with flavor! I also loved the micheladas with camarones. The place is clean and the service is really good. Very friendly staff. This is definitely one of my new favorite spots for mariscos. read more

This place is so much of a hole in the wall but so big and full of flavor that I just totally was blown away by the quality and flavors they coaxed from the seafood. Everything was fresh made to order. Nothing frozen. I can tell frozen from fresh seafood and this was not frozen at all. I had the Caldo de Mariscos and it was mind blowing since it had your normal veggies but that was the only normal thing, they had large grade shrimp, fish filets, octopus and last but so much of and not least was scallops, not the diver type but not the little booger size type that some places may use. They were at least the size of my thumb and there was at least 8 or so of them. I also had the grilled shrimp tacos which were very succulent and the sauce oh my it's not a white sauce but a nice flavored pink sauce that makes you drool for more! I was so full after having all this and a soda, it was a little pricy at $23 bucks but man I'm still full hours later as I write this review. Finally another sinaloense restaurant close to home. The camarones al mojo de ajo, a la diabla they are all pretty meh. This place is amazing some of the best sea food I've had in Los Angeles. The Ceviche Mixto is my personal favorite with the cilantro salsa. I could eat here everyday. Also their nopalas chips(which they make themselves for scratch) are to die for with either their salsa or ceviche. Their tacos de pescado is another favorite which I add in with every order. My biggest problem is deciding which one I want to eat, so I change which one each time I come. It can be spicy but if you like spicy then try the aguachiles Ensenada. If you want tons of flavor but not the spiciness try the ceviche mixto, you won't be sorry. They also serve some delicious shrimp tacos. Aguachiles Negra's are amazing, one time I put a review that they were too spicy but then they toned it down a little and now they have the perfect spice/flavor balance. If you're looking for a quick, traditional mariscos dish, this is the place. I had an amazing micheladas with a negro modelo (yes they even have beer) with some fried pulpitos. I have been hunting down these tiny little fried octopuses for 6 months and I finally found them. My friend got the two taco plate with tacos gobernadores. Both were satisfying. Only critique would be the place is a bit hidden, it's on the far side of a tiny shopping center that almost looks closed. Also I wish they were open for dinner as well. Came here for a quick lunch. Tried the Ensenada aguachile shrimp. It was delicious, spicy and flavorful, served with tostadas and crackers. It was so good after I finished the shrimp I drank the chile marinade. It set my mouth on fire but it was worth it. If chile negro isn't your thing you can get the green chile version which they said was less spicy. This spot is right next to Rocio's Moles de los Dioses (which is closed currently, they plan to reopen in May). Hours are 10 to 5 but I think they're going to extend hours as the days get longer. If you can't day drink during the week then come on a weekend to check it out and try their micheladas. read more

First of all very overpriced second of all the ceviche that cost $9 was about 80% cucumbers and then some fish for 9 bucks the campechana was pre-cooked shrimp from Costco or who knows from where but this shrimp taste like freezer burn to me and then we ordered 3 tacos that had 4 frozen shrimp on it the small ones each I mean huge humongous tortillas but no shrimp was not worth it wasted a total of 33 bucks could eat at for the local Taco Bell anywhere else even Del Taco Probably is better read more
