I have heard of this place through Social Media and people I know. I wasn't too sure what it was…read morebefore but, I heard local bands and musicians would perform here. I also heard it was a bar and restaurant. What brought me here, Burger week of course. I go here after getting off work one evening. Entering the parking lot it was packed but I found a space close to the entrance. I go in and I asked if I could sit at the bar because it was just me and was told that I could. I sit at the bar and I do get service in a good amount of time. I got the Pizza Burger which was their specialty and the Mozzarella Moons (another term for mozzarella sticks) except they are moon shaped. Very good. Then came the pizza burger. Pepperoni, cheese and marinara on a burger patty. Loved the crisp pepperoni and the cheese and marinara sauce. Can't say I ever had a burger like that and even told the bartender that was my favorite burger for burger week. Service, food and atmosphere was good for the most part. Apparently they have their staff try to push dessert sales for an S/O (Shoutout). Nothing wrong with trying to sell desserts but, idk how that sits with other employees like it's a competition or something. I didn't order the dessert and their choices looked good. I was full and thought maybe next time. I definitely want to come back and try their other foods at some point but, I don't come to this end very much. They had a band playing as I left and the crowd seemed to love it. I would love to bring friends here.

I had the goat cheese gateau, ahi tuna salad, and the elk lasagna. Everything was so delicious, I cleaned my whole plate. Aliyah was a lovely server as well. So the ambiance, depending on where you are seated is very good or fantastic. The service is mostly abysmal. It's been abysmal for years. It's rather the running joke among friends whom have the money but are often amazed how bad the service is. I really don't think the ownership accepts how bad the service sucks...badly. C'est le guerre. Two out of three ain't bad. The prices are en pointe! If they had a manager with a brain it could be so much more. The restaurant group owns three other restaurants. Why they have kept the SUCKY mgt here is beyond my understands. I've never owned a restaurant but I have owned companies. No idea why they continue with very poor mgt. I feel like the manager must have nude pictures of someone!! Go here! Food exceptional. Just because mgt are possibly accepting bribes...or something weird is occurring...Enjoy what you can!!! You won't be disappointed...except the service!!

I'm so glad we found this place yesterday. We arrived early in Louisville for a networking event…read moreand wanted to hang out somewhere with a nice outside area. We definitely found the right place. The patio area with the Koi pond and waterfall was perfect. My wife and I had the Fried Green Tomatoes and Selena's Crab Caps. Their menu looks amazing as did the specials of the day. We didn't have time to eat a full meal, but did enjoy our time outside. Our server was great and one of the owners did come by to check on us also. I would definitely come back to try more of their food.

I'm not sure if the $2 version was a smaller size or only offered at certain times, but honestly... the drinks were still worth it. The flavor was amazing, and unlike a lot of brunch drinks that taste watered down, these were actually strong. Two glasses definitely had me feeling tipsy, so I can't complain too much there. The main reason I took off a star was the parking situation and accessibility concerns. The handicap parking is positioned perpendicular to the main road, which honestly feels unsafe when backing out. If someone already has mobility or visibility limitations, backing directly into a busy road can be stressful and dangerous. The rest of the parking area is also gravel, which can be difficult to navigate with mobility aids, wheelchairs, walkers, or even just for someone unsteady on their feet. It's one of those situations where it's great that handicap parking exists close to the entrance, but the actual setup still creates challenges. Outside of that, the drinks themselves were genuinely really good, the atmosphere was fun, and I'd probably still come back for another brunch date.

If ever there was a time to drive over the speed limit, this is that time (disclaimer - I do not…read moreendorse breaking laws). However you do it, get yourself to JJ Grill IMMEDIATELY. This glorious establishment serves some of the most delicious Mediterranean cuisine I've had the great pleasure to consume, not just in Louisville but in my life. We tried: -Syrian falafel wrap: homemade falafel, french fries, veggies, tarator sauce (tahini/garlic/lemon ). -Vegetarian sampler: falafel, seasoned rice, hummus, baba ganouj, salad, stuffed grape leaves, tarator sauce, pita with JJ's red sauce (YES). Everything was SO good. Beautifully blended and layered flavors, especially the hummus and baba ganouj about which I tend to be very picky. I could have eaten buckets of both. So yes, get the food, but honestly the reason I plan to return again and again is because of the owner, Mr. JJ. This guy is everything. He's kind, efficient, conscientious, a fabulous chef (obviously), intelligent, and has a great sense of humor. During our visit the AC was out, and despite being hot, tired, and likely overwhelmed he was genuinely wonderful, making sure we had everything we needed for a truly memorable and delicious dining experience. Instead of tipping, JJ's requests donations to support feeding hungry people who can't afford healthy food. Truly a gem of a person, a gem of a place. Speed (safely) on over now. Go.

I've had Mediterranean food in Dubai, and this is honestly the closest I've had to that here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and just really well made. And I have to say... I don't even like hummus, but theirs was out of this world. That alone says a lot. The owner was running the place himself and still putting out amazing food with great presentation. He was also incredibly kind and welcoming--we had a short conversation, and his energy was just so genuine. Parking-wise, I only noticed one handicap spot, but there were multiple close parking spaces nearby that could still work well for anyone needing easier access.
