This WH is dirty. The windows in the entry way were totally unclean, as were the window sills where the booths are and thee floor below up closer to the wall. It's usually the last place I think of going for breakfast due to the cleanliness issue. Service quality could be better as well. read more

First off... food was great. The cooks killed it. That's the only reason I didn't get up and leave. Please fire Jasmine immediately. She's an absolute joke of a server. Below are the things I witnessed in my 40 minutes in the restaurant. 1) Jasmine never came to my seat at the bar. Another server got me my drinks and told me my server would be right over. 10 minutes later Jasmine came. 2) I gave her my order. She didn't have her pad to write it on. She wasn't listening when I gave her the order. She walked over to the pad by the cooking area, wrote a few things down, then took a huge draw from a vape pen, turns around and runs to the back to exhale. Looked to be weed vape. She doesn't come back from the back for a few minutes, so another server tried to read my order to the cooks, and half the order was left off and the rest was wrong. I had to speak up otherwise my order would have screwed. 3) I originally asked for milk. It never came. I had to ask 3 times for milk and had to stop eating my food until I got it. She was bussing tables and cleaning dishes as I sat there not eating. She acted shitty the 3rd time I asked. 4) This is the worst in my opinion.... I'm sitting right next to the bathrooms. She went to the bathroom. Flushed the toilet and walked straight out without washing her hands. I know you might be thinking...how can he tell. I heard the toilet flush (it's loud) and one second later she walked out. Others went to the bathroom and it was obvious they did wash their hands. Here I am drinking from a cup she touched. I wanted refills but refused to have her touch anything else. Fire her!! This isn't the first complaint about her, can't be!! I've ran very busy restaurants, she wouldn't last a week in my stores. I can't remember the last time I ate at a Waffle House. Then I tasted coffee that could peel paint, cold hashbrowns and unmelted cheese in an egg sandwich and I remembered why. Add exceptionally slow service and we have a trifecta of mediocrity. read more

Terrible customer service came on a late night was in the car a couple minutes before getting out the server immediately comes outside to smoke a cig I gave him time to finish he sat out there forever. Then the cook decides to come out as well. Just terrible especially for the employees who work late and this is the only place open. read more

I've never seen so many employees at one waffle house and so unorganized and very slow. They had 7 employees. We were never greeted. Our table was never cleaned. We had to clean it ourselves. No one came to take our order. Had to go to the to go order line to request to order. After a half hour the waitress came to take our order but then wasn't allowed to call out the order for another 15 minutes. After an hour we got bacon....we saw our orders on the line and kept asking the cooks if we could have our order they said no. We kept saying that is our order to go with the bacon which was now cold. The oder was all cold. Never fot my coffee or my waffle. read more

Very sad. When you go to WH you don't have HIGH expectations but, you usually can find, fast, friendly, fairly priced, good food. No so here. The restaurant was busy but they had plenty of staff. Sat at the bar, no greeting, took a while to get "noticed". Ordered a waffle and crisp bacon. The food can surprisingly quick although the bacon was near burnt. As stated, the restaurant was busy but amply staffed. Even though, mass chaos. Everyone going in different direction accomplishing very little. Anything needed took a least (3) request. Checking out, (3) different waitresses came to the register to total other check without so much as a nod. A cook finally took my payment. On top of everything, the restaurant was filthy. I go to Waffle House about 5 days per week for my lunch break. I'm always greeted and they take my order very quickly. They always get my order correct. The cookies and cream pie is very good. This was the first time going to this particular Waffle House and it was as good as it got. The service was top notch, completely driven by our waitress who was incredible. The food came to us quickly and was cooked very well. I've reviewed a couple of Waffle Houses and to say this was the best one I've been to is probably an understatement. On the food, it's delicious! Really good diner food that is, no complaints there. My daughter and I split a plate or bowl ;) of breakfast here and I was in a food happy place for sure. Having split portions, the amount of food goodness was perfect for us. The service was good and very friendly. Our waitress did a great job, the hostess that seated us was friendly and our food was ready in no time flat. My only big complaint is that I feel like the restaurant itself should be kept looking more sparkly. On the morning we visited the windows were quite visibly dirty. Just not much fun glancing out a dirty window while you eat. I do love that I was able to purchase a couple of great quality souvenir mugs on this visit. We are from out of state and it's always a pleasure to drink out of my nice Waffle House coffee mug and to be reminded of the great state of Kentucky and the delicious food served up at the Waffle House. I know the bar is low for Waffle House because...well because it's Waffle House. But this particular location has a lot of flies, generally unclean, and very slow/inattentive service. I have been to plenty of other Waffle House locations, and the comparison is what makes this rating fairly low. To be fair, the food was fine and on par with other locations. However, they forgot to put in our order so it took awhile to even get in. I had a chocolate chip waffle, but it arrived about 10 minutes after my husbands meal so I was left waiting around while he ate so his food didn't get cold. Did not get syrup with the waffle, and it was very challenging to get anyone's attention to get some. Further, the waffles were overdone because they forgot to set the timer. I will say, the manager there was great. He was kind, funny, and clearly working hard with inventory along with other responsibilities. Waffle House has always been a pretty predictable standby. I have stuck to my favorite of cheese n eggs, hash browns scattered smothered and covered, raisin toast, and grits, with a Diet Coke, for years. And a waffle! Lately my visits to this Waffle House are questionable at best. I am pretty sure the person who last served me was under the influence. She had a hair piece that didn't cover her entire head, her hands were dyed red, and her eye contact was so odd. Our order was given and she didn't write it down. Well, when we got our food it wasn't all correct. It wasn't worth it to send back so I just asked her to not charge for the extras, ie. Our waffles weren't given to us, hash browns weren't "smothered and covered", asked for real butter... is it the end of the world? No. But to pay $9.75 for a meal at a diner and to not get it as asked is a little annoying. Life goes on. I still tipped. Because honestly they probably cannot get good employees. The place was FILTHY. There were only 2 of them in the entire place. It's probably not entirely their fault. There was no Mgmt present. I yearn for the days when the staff are little old ladies who can remember everyone's order and who can slap a mean waffle on a plate that takes like heaven. read more

Waffle House is always a favorite, can be a hit or miss at times and we drive to this location when we do go. This morning they were starting to get very busy and moving a little slow. No worries at all on my part. Our server was very nice & apologetic. Food was good as always. As the restaurant got even busier this man named Charles emerged (he was assisting the cook line before hand). Charles came out, bussed tables, called out orders, called out # of cars entering the parking lot, proceeded to also take orders & serve. While doing all of this, he was coaching the staff & teaching them at the same time with different aspects of the restaurant. At no point was there any frustration in his voice nor did he talk down to them. He was not only fun, energetic and productive but he was very cheerful with all of his interactions with staff & customers. This man was amazing. He saw a need with the staff and jumped right in and with a positive attitude. I believe he was the manager but I am not totally sure. That being said, all mgmt (not only in the food industry) should take notes from this man as he was definitely a role model to all. Thank you Charles for turning what could have been a long frustrating experience with a 4 yr old in a restaurant into a pleasant & eye opening experience. Treat the staff the same as you would want to be treated. We will return to this location solely based on this. All we wanted was some late night grub, and after over an hour, with every person's order being messed up, we just succumbed to whatever they brought us. The best part was the fact that there were five people working, complaining nonstop about how busy they were, when in reality, at any given time we were here, there were more employees than patrons. The workers are rude, unsanitary, and clearly high as hell. They argued back and forth about where our ticket went, what we ordered, and both took turns disappearing to the back. Absolutely the worst service I've ever had. The food was great! our server, Tabitha, not so much. As soon as my friends and I sat down she threw our napkins and forks on the table, and said "Who's first?", then proceeded to rush everyone through their order.. there were only 5 of us and maybe 2 other tables (not busy at all). When not traveling for the holidays we tend to go out for breakfast on Christmas. This is our first Christmas in LOUKY and we decided to go to one of the few places open on Christmas morning. We frequent this Waffle House often and we've never seen this WH so busy on a weekday! We weren't the only ones that decided to go out for breakfast on a Christmas morning. Although it may be rough for the staff to work on a Christmas, the overall feel of the place was very welcoming. The staff were very nice and they made it a wonderful time.
