The person at the shop approached me and started criticizing the way I had driven into the area, telling me that I was driving fast "like a police officer." I told him that if he believed I had actually done something wrong, he was welcome to write me a ticket. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he then told me not to come back to his shop. I came here as a paying customer, on time for an appointment, expecting a simple wheel alignment. I did not expect to have my scheduled time disregarded, then be confronted and ultimately told not to return. Regardless of the quality of the mechanical work, this was an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful customer-service experience. I would not recommend this business based on the way I was treated. If the lift was inoperable, the professional thing to do would have been to notify customers with scheduled appointments before they drove to the shop. A simple call or text would have saved everyone time. Customers' time matters too -- time is money. I have attached screenshots because the business owner keeps changing his public responses and his version of what happened. In his first response, he apologized for the inconvenience caused by an inoperable vehicle lift. In his later response, he claimed that I did not have an appointment at all. His description of the driving incident has also changed and become increasingly serious with each response. I am not going to argue about these accusations. I am simply attaching screenshots of the owner's own responses so that anyone reading this review can see how his statements have changed and draw their own conclusions.

The person I spoke to was knowledgeable and friendly. Today when I dropped off my car Ryan assisted me and when I asked him how long he estimated my car being ready he replied by saying 30 minutes. I was shocked did I hear him correctly. I have been used to having to drop off my car for new tires and wait 3-6 hours at other shops. I do not live in the area but because of my great experience here would drive from Oakland just to have my tires done here.

We called and got an estimate for four tires plus four TPMS replacements with the same service. They booked an appointment for us based on the estimate for the next day. Halfway through the appointment, they indicated that they didn't have any of the TPMS devices in stock for our service! Essentially, what this meant, is that we would have to come back later, pay for the devices PLUS an additional fee to take the tires on/off rather than doing this all at once when we purchased the new tires + TPMS devices (per our quote). No flexibility and no discussion ahead of time. Although I've liked Diamond Tires in the past, I don't plan on using them again in the future. There are plenty of service providers in the local area who provide amazing service and fair prices, without trying to gouge you.

Updated review (from a few weeks ago):…read more A few weeks ago, I had a flat tire and needed to replace my front tire. After calling several places to confirm availability, Kevin at Toscalito assured me that the repair would be completed before noon. He also confirmed that the tires I needed were located across the bridge and would arrive on time. At 12:20 p.m., I called to check on the status of my car and was informed that the tires had only arrived about 15 minutes earlier, and that it would take an additional 45 minutes to complete the service. Despite clearly communicating that timing was important, no one reached out to inform me of the delay. Ultimately, my car was ready approximately three hours later than originally promised. Based on this experience, I would recommend not relying on the initial time estimate and planning for a longer wait than stated. That said, Kevin was extremely friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. His customer service was a strong positive in an otherwise frustrating experience.

It was Sunday so my regular place wasn't open so decided to come here and see if they can help patch up the location. I went in at about 3pm and told the guy what I needed he then asks his coworker oof it's already 3, I'm like you guys close at 5 right? He's like yeah and I'm like well we know the problem and where and here's the picture of the nail. As soon as I show him the picture, he says it's not repairable and will need a new tire. I told him don't you want to see it in person rather than this picture to make sure you're accurate with your diagnostic? He's like I don't need to.. then just stood there and stared at us not even trying to speak to us about next steps. Because of that, I just didn't feel right and said thanks and left and decided to wait the next day for my usual tire shop I usually have gone to for years. And behold, they were able to patch it up in 20 minutes and fix it HONESTLY and THOROUGHLY. The guy at toscalito was plain lazy and clearly doesn't want to work so I don't know I share my story to bring awareness and get second opinions if things feel not right.
