I will also be submitting a complaint directly to Porsche North America. Working on a 275K GT3-RS, they could not be bothered to return the requested documentation requested... DME Report, Promised PPI-very standard requests and promised by the sales rep. I found the same car that was actually a real cpo for less and it was actually an enjoyable transaction. Be careful when buying a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) car from Porsche Bend - Make sure it is actually recorded as Certified in the Porsche system (and not just on the piece of paper they hand you). I bought a used Boxster here three ago; I paid $3000 extra to ensure it was fully inspected and Certified. To me, this was worth the piece-of-mind and the multiple years of extended warranty. So imagine my surprise a year or so later when I had to get a minor mechanical issue resolved and found the car in fact was not in the system as 'Certified'. I called Porsche Bend to complain; and after weeks of back-and-forth they finally agreed they had made a mistake. They promised to make good by adding in an extended warranty (from a third party) to cover my remaining time. I filled out the paperwork, sent it in, and assumed all was good. (This was a year ago). But on a visit last month to my local dealer (to fix another issue that would normally be covered) I found that no such warranty was in their system. After recent contact again with Porsche Bend I was able to determine there is indeed an extended warranty in place (and now I have all the details); but I cannot get the warranty company to cover past fixes (even that would normally have been covered). Furthermore, the extended warranty rules are fairly restrictive, requiring more paperwork and 'hoops' than I would like. In short - I paid $3k extra, but in reality am getting one year of extended warranty (starting now). Spendy. I want a do-over. As reported in my previous review, I did have a pleasant buying experience at Porsche Bend, but this certification fiasco has turned into a longer-term ordeal where I am feeling short-changed. This is now the only place I will take my car to be serviced. From the first phone call with the service department all the way down to my experience with Jason, his boss, and Brian who serviced my car, it was all so pleasant. They were so fast and efficient and they even got me in the following day to have a small oil leak fixed. Originally, they didn't think they would have a loaner car available on the second day but to my surprise they were able to provide me with one. The women in the dealership were equally as kind and pleasant as well. I just highly recommend this dealership based on their outstanding customer service alone. Yikes. Similar to other posters. I bought a car out of state, the negotiation process and getting information on the vehicle in question was okay, but not great. The sales team wanted to be helpful with some unusual aspects of the car (aftermarket parts, service history, warranty) - but it took me wrangling them to get useful information. We agreed on a price and I booked a plane ticket. The real disaster started when I flew in to buy the car, first things first - I required 3 sets of paperwork due to typos. I was in a timeline crunch - and I provided _all_ information ahead of time to the dealer. One set of paperwork had my name incorrect (I caught this), the second had the odometer correct (they caught this). What a waste of time unnecessarily - annoying, but whatever, it happens. I took delivery of the car and drove home. Turns out the 3rd set of paperwork also had the wrong odometer reading. The ensuing 8 weeks have involved me trying to get a straight answer from the dealer and guidance in how to get the car licensed in my home state. This resulted in 3 sets of new odometer paperwork, several calls of escalation to Porsche Cars North America, the Better Business Bureau, and to the General Manager of the dealership in attempting to get the car licensed. This has been an ordeal not worth the price of entry. For a transaction of this amount, I would expect professionalism, follow up, and attention to detail in dealing with these bureaucratic matters, of which the dealer should be an expert, not me. None of these basic necessities were provided by Kendall Automotive or Porsche Bend staff. I am out time (lots), money (a bit), and frustration (in spades) in purchasing my Porsche from Porsche Bend. Kendall Auto is now on my "never again" list. I wish I would of seen the other reviews of similar issues before purchasing my car from them. Let this serve as your warning. Take your money elsewhere when considering your next Porsche purchase, I know I will. read more

Since our first interaction, we have enjoyed nothing but pure professionalism and attention to detail - even though our first time on the lot I was wearing sweats . Our car has performed exactly as guaranteed and anytime we have needed any assistance whatsoever, Justin in the service department has gone above and beyond to make sure that we were 100% comfortable and happy (even when we were just stopping in with a question!) We have purchased many cars over the years, and experienced a full spectrum of competence and personal connection. The Porsche Bend Sales & Service team are without question one of the best we've ever worked with, and I would send a friend or family member there any day. Just brought a Porsche Macan from this dealer. I m from California. This dealer does not know how the California DMV work and give me the wrong information, Like the DMV will call you when they receive the title. Also they have no knowledge that any car that go to California needs smog check. Its ok that they don't know. The problem is that they tell you everything is so easy. It waste me a lot of time!!!!!!! Sale price is very good. But not worth the trouble!!!!!!!!!! Another positive service experience at Kendall Porsche in Bend. Upon arrival for my 645 AM appointment, the service documents were already prepared and awaiting my review and signature, documents for the Macao loaner vehicle were similarly prepared, and the loaner was warmed up, de-iced, and ready to go. Service was completed at the promised time and my car was washed. Check out took just a few minutes. I ordered my personalized factory Porsche in late September 2018. I was told approx 4 months. A couple of months later was told I would have to order a 2019 model +$3000. The car was finally built and arrived in the USA the end of February 2019 and I was given a mid March date for U.S. Certification. This did not happen and a new date of May 10 was given for certification + a week or two to ship to Bend. This is not the first car I've ordered from Germany but it may be my last. It's been inconvenient to keep having the delivery date changed and news about the hold up is extremely sketchy at best. I am not a happy customer at this point in time but realize it is not all the fault of Porsche of Bend. After contacting Porsche cars of North America. It appears the hold up is with U.S. EPA/CARB CERTIFICATION and not directly with Porsche of Bend. People wishing to pre order Porsche vehicles that may be difficult to find at dealerships should be made aware that their cars while physically shipped to the USA , may sit for many additional months at the U.S. Port awaiting certification for sale in the USA. Mine's been sitting in San Francisco now since the end of February 2019 and its latest release date is now June 14 ( the 3rd time its release date has been changed.. But it's a moving target apparently and has nothing to do with the dealership itself ). I'm just hoping at this point It will arrive in my hands before the 2020 models are out for sale. I needed parts for my Porsche Cayenne Turbo and found them from a Las Vegas Porsche dealership at much more aggressive pricing than Porsche "listed" prices. As a way to keep my business local, I called Kendall Porsche of Bend and asked if they would be willing to offer the same pricing as another Porsche dealer. The person in parts mumbled something about online parts stores having different pricing structures and places like that won't offer the same pricing if you walk in and buy the parts. I assured him that wasn't the case, but called Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas and got a quote for some of the same parts and said I'll stop by the dealership to pick them up... As common sense would suggest, the pricing was identical to what they offered online. It is very disheartening to have a Porsche dealer locally and have to pay a 15-20% penalty for using them. The moment "KENDALL" was put on the sign, I knew it was the end of a great local dealership. This should be a "one star" review, but I'm feeling charitable and gave an additional star because I can see beautiful cars when I drive by the dealership. read more

He asked what my needs were and what I was looking for rather than pushing something he needed to sell. I fell in love with a Macan on the lot. He looked at the Mercedes and gave me a very fair trade in value. We ran the numbers and made it work. The whole staff throughout the process was so accommodating and professional. I got bitten by the Porsche bug, and started my online research as to whether my desire to own a Porsche Macan was viable, both in terms of the cars performance, but also its reliability. I was able to test drive a Porsche Macan GTS at a one-off car lot here in Bend, and was impressed. My next step was that I walked in without an appointment to Porsche Bend, in order to hopefully sit in several of the seat options that the Macan comes with. I met Jamie Reed, the sales manager, and he put me in touch with Ian Smythe, who is also a sales consultant at the joint Kendall Audi dealership. Ian allowed me and my partner to sit in various cars, answered our questions, but then because of the limited used Macan GTS inventory on their lot, I explained what my desired options were should they ever get that desired GTS in their inventory, and then we left. But the next day, I realized that I still hadn't made up my mind on the seat choices, so back to the dealership we went. I suspect that is a common occurance given a buyer really wants to make sure their choice is the perfect choice. This time, Ian was busy with another customer, so we met with Trevor Campbell who insisted that he and Ian work closely together on potential sales. Trevor too allowed us to sit in our desired cars, answered our questions, and we chatted for a length of time even after our research was completed. My partner and I never felt pressured to hurry up, like some dealerships are inclined to do, especially if there is a sense a sale isn't going to happen immediately. Now long story short. I ended up finding a Macan Turbo at a different dealership in the state, and I'm actually disappointed that I wasn't able to do a purchase with Porsche Bend, because I feel like their professionalism and knowledge of all things Porsche is top notch. My brief time with Jamie, Ian, and Trevor allow me to say with confidence that I bet in a true purchase transaction, they would shine. After owning the car few a few weeks, I proactively needed to have some warranty, and non-warranty work performed. Steve Smith, the Service Advisor, has been exceptional. read more

My recent service recommendations included $10,000 of charges which most had already been done just 3 weeks before at Beaverton Porsche. These were just lies hoping my wife wouldn't know. Disgusting treatment of customers and a dishonest (or ignorant) service providers. Porsche customers deserve better. Go somewhere else if you want the "Porsche Experience". Early December I stopped by the Porsche dealership to visit the salesman that sold my Macan GTS last year. Sad to hear he did not work there any longer. I met Charlie in the process and would describe her as a very intelligent, svelte professional. On the way into the dealership I had spotted a Cayman S that beckoned for a test drive. Charlie made that happen and during the test drive her love and knowledge of Porsche vehicles became evident. She has a very good way about her and genuinely tries to understand your needs and wants with Porsche vehicles as potential client. I left to go back home and to do some research. When I called Charlie her responses where immediate and well researched and through the month she built on the sale. Her devotion to the dealership and clients was unquestionable. I decided to go back to Bend and in the process she also identified that I would be unhappy with trading in my Macan GTS, a option I had not considered. Purchased our second Porsche from Bend on May 3rd. We sold our old 2012 9114s to Porsche Bend at that time. On May 11th they paid off my loan and, we saw on line that they sold the old car. Since then they have been nothing but, "your bank hasn't sent the title", "the title is lost", "just a couple more weeks", oops "title is lost again". They have $30,000.00 of my money and they won't give it to me. The odd thing is - they have also sold the car, I don't know how you do that without a title! It has been nearly 8 weeks. If they are trying to keep $30,000.00 of my money, I have to believe they are very short of cash. I would say - buyer beware regarding this dealership, I would not leave my car there. read more

After the Porsche dealership of my home town botched a transmission job (tranny oil leak approximately 400 miles after the original service) I was in a panic mode. I was on my way to Canada on a road trip. The closest dealership along the way was at Bend. They took amazing care of my beloved 958 Turbo. When we checked in they welcomed us as we were family. They gave us a brand new Macan and the next day our car was ready. They re-did the transmission and gave me a very detailed explanation of what had happened. Since then I have logged little over 5500 miles towing a 28 feet Airstream and there are no issues at all. Transmission feels and shifts great (better than ever before). Prices are amazing, over 30% less expensive than other well known Premier dealerships. Communication was excellent, but most importantly people working there are great. My wife and I immediately felt like we we were part of their family. Our service advisor was amazing as well as the tech (Garrick) who worked in our Porsche was awesome and by far the most knowledgeable tech have ever worked on my Porsche.
