I had explained to him my car was making a scrubbing type of noise when I made sharp turns or tried parking! He addressed the issue and told me that it was normal due to the suspension of the car. I arrived there a half an hour before my appointment only to be told of the car that I was interested in had just sold. I was very disappointed in the fact that I wasn't called because I drove almost 50 miles to go look at this car. This review is for Jonathan Beitz, my sales guy. I worked with Jonathan for a while when he was still with another Porsche dealer but couldn't find anything I liked. When he came to Riverside Porsche, he asked me to look at their inventory to see if there's anything I was interested in. I found a 2018 Macan S that was very close to what I was looking for and made an offer. After a few texts back and forth, Jonathan called to let me know we have a deal. The deal he gave was as competitive as anyone that I talked to (and I made sure I shopped around). I placed a deposit on the car, went down to SoCal to pick her up and drove back to up NorCal. All this happened in just a few days. Jonathan was very patient throughout the last few months leading up to my purchase. We started off looking for a used 2017 GTS. We looked everywhere and Jonathan thought of every possible way to find me what I was looking for. We then searched for a 2018 S that I might like but couldn't find anything. I didn't want to order a new one as it would take months and I've been driving my old spare car for 8 months. I'm sure I wasn't the easiest to work with. If I were selling to myself, I probably would have just gave up. Still, he stayed very helpful and optimistic. In the end, it worked out and I couldn't be happier! OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 2.5 stars This review is for my purchase of the 2021 Taycan from Porsche Riverside. FINANCE DEPT & BUSINESS: 1 star Somewhat SHADY business practice, unexpected from a Porsche dealership. Before I purchased the car, I was told (written in an email) that LoJack comes PRE-INSTALLED in all their vehicles and that it cannot be removed. Initially I was like fine if that's what it is, I will just have to accept the markup for archaic software. I came to find out the day AFTER I purchased the vehicle that the dealership was bringing LoJack installers on-site to install it (text receipts). I immediately called the Finance manager asking for a refund on the LoJack. Their LoJack fee was also ~2x MSRP. The Finance manager candidly explained that the reason they can price the car cheaper than typical is because of these markups they get (can they even say that??). After a 20-min call, he said there is nothing he can do about the refund but he will "check" with his boss - called me back 2 hours later and offered me a $150 gift card to the boutique store which is the best he can do. LoJack is 100% optional (which the Finance manager acknowledged in the call) but still would NOT give me a refund after blatant misinformation!! Absolutely unbelievable. SALES: 5 stars Our salesperson was Charlie Nguyen and he was honestly the best part about this whole experience. We made an appointment with Charlie who was extremely responsive over both email and text. Once confirmed, we drove down from the Bay Area to test drive and purchase the vehicle. He was incredibly knowledgeable and assisted us with every step of the process. With the whole $150 gift card fiasco (see above), Charlie personally FaceTimed me and helped me shop at the boutique store which was much appreciated. Post-sales, I had a number of questions (a ton of back and forth) and Charlie was able to resolve all my outstanding questions quickly over text. He even sent over photos of my car and where everything is when it was getting shipped out. Post-delivery, he called again to check in to make sure everything is in order. High quality pre- and post-sales services! POST-SALES: 5 stars The same day after we had just purchased the vehicle, Alexis (gentleman at the front desk) provided us with a thorough crash course about the Taycan. He patiently walked us through all we needed to know and even knelt down on the sidewalk in 90 degree heat to show us all the features. Great service! TEST DRIVE: 3 stars The car was not properly prepped for test drive. 1) It was soaking wet (they explained that they were in the middle of prepping it but that's weird because we were ~15 mins late to our appointment due to traffic so the car should have been ready to go). 2) Button covers were missing from the passenger side for the power seats. 3) Little bits of trash and wrappers were littered in the car, small ketchup stains in the back seat. Had to ask them to detail in the interior prior to purchasing. DELIVERY: 2 stars Scheduled delivery time was communicated to be 8pm latest on a Friday. The day passes and 8pm comes with no communication from the transporter. I reached out to the number provided by Charlie and the driver picked up, stating that he had to make another drop off before mine but he should get to me by 9pm. In my mind, that's fine no big deal. 9pm comes and again no communication. I called again to check in and the driver said he's hitting a bit of traffic but he will be here no longer than 10pm. Again 10pm comes and nothing. Turns out, he was given the wrong address (same street number and name but in a different city). Once rectified, it was promptly delivered. Ultimately the car was delivered just a little after midnight. read more

This review pertains to the " service department ", not the sales department. I am extremely bothered by how some of their service team treats their customers. As a loyal Porsche customer who has owned many Porsche vehicles over the years, I have to say, I am very disappointed. I took my car in for a repair, and they gave me a Macan loaner. Unfortunately, the rear tire suffered a puncture that wasn't repairable. I put the spare tire on and returned the loaner back to Walters. They told me if the tire isn't repairable, they will need to charge me. I had no problem with that. A day later, someone from Walters contacted me and left a voicemail for me to call back. Then another call a day later. I didn't have time to call back and I was hoping to find time to call them in a day. Then, a 3rd call came with an voicemail, saying that " if I don't call them back, they will send me to collection agency and my personal credit can be affected. They also said they will black list me in the future from getting another Porsche loaner car from Walters... those were literally the exact words." First of all, they didn't bother to email a copy of an invoice of the total amount needed to replace the tire, and within two days of not returning their call, they decided to make those threats ? I contacted their service manager and I felt l he was more interested to collect my credit card information over the phone to pay for the tire than to really understand the situation. He said that so many customers of theirs bailed without paying for damages for their loaner cars . If that's the case, they should have collected the money when the car was returned at the deor not even have a loaner program. That is absolutely disrespectful to their customers. This is probably the last time I am going to this dealership for service, and I will also report my experience to Porsche of N.A. Here is a reply to GM's response. I wish you would have called me first and understand the situation more, rather then just saying your staff didn't threaten me with collection agency and black listing me from using other Porsche loaner car. I always do quite a lot of pre-work before I set foot in the dealership. In this case, I didn't need most of it. The employees know exactly what they need to know, and the whole process is very smooth. Our sales-person was Angel, he's fairly new at this dealer, and he's a great guy to work with. He knows his stuff, and he's not a high-pressure sales-person. My wife and I both test drove the car we were interested in, and definitely needed Angel's help with setting everything up for the drive. As a side note, any questions we had that he didn't immediately know the answer for, he made sure to follow up after we got back to the dealer. And thanks to Eric, the sales manager, for working with us to confirm everything we were looking for. The post-sales experience is quick and easy. VERY little paperwork, and the lease contract is done with DocuSign. Thanks to Adam in the finance dept. for making the process quick and easy. As you would expect with buying a high-end car, the delivery process is top notch. You're not just handed the keys, you're presented with your new vehicle. Alexis helped us set up our Porsche account and getting the app installed and working on our phones. After that was complete, both Angel and Alexis made sure to answer any and all of our questions before we drove off. This was our first Porsche. And even with the reading I did prior to visiting the dealer, there is a LOT of things to learn about these cars. So many configuration options and settings. But their team has you covered, especially with the phone integration and main screen options. I walked in knowing the specific car I wanted to see/drive, it was a special lease offer, and left with it the same day. Overall a GREAT experience. read more

We live in Pasadena but ended up buying our first Porsche 75 miles away at Riverside Porsche. Why? John Beech. And his honest and diligent service made our experience memorable and worthwhile. We ordered our car from him in June 2021, after dealing with many of the Porsche dealerships near us and finding out no one was willing to negotiate prices on our model, including all of the nearby Costco dealers. So we reached out to John Beech at Riverside Porsche, and he made it quick, simple and easy. He told us what he can do based on Costco pricing, and we immediately put in the order. We did not sign any papers, just putting down a deposit for the order based on his text message of the price quote. Since our order, dealerships across the country have started adding "market adjustments" to MSRPs of most of the cars, with most Porsches selling $15,000 above sticker. We also priced our trade in across many platforms such as Carvana, Edmunds, CarMax, CarFax, etc, and shopped for car loans before picking up the car. John kept us apprised of the status of our car, and answered all of our questions within a few hours during this process. Through it all, I was impressed with his customer service and diligence. When we picked up the car, John made our experience painless and simple. Despite the current practices of crazy mark ups, John kept his words and gave us the discount he originally promised over the texts. He valued our trade in higher than those from other platforms. He even "matched" the car loan rate that we got from our bank so that we ended up paying less overall interest payments. His honest and straightforward approach made the experience less intimidating and enjoyable. He had his finance team and delivery team working with us to close the deal. We have always purchased our cars through Costco, and this time, Riverside Porsche and John Beech in particular, with his honesty and diligence, made our experience quick, simple, and enjoyable. read more

Sherman was incredible professional and knowledgeable about every aspect of the car buying process. The car itself was a good vehicle listed at a great price based on kbb and consumer reports. The carfax was reviewed with me several times and any areas of note highlighted. Porsche Riverside was also very patient as I worked out my car insurance. Prior to purchase, I did not own a vehicle so I did not have car insurance. I was at Sherman's desk for about an hour as my renter's insurance agent added car insurance.
