I just had my most What The F moment there, I was there at 6pm; was trying to buy another car. No one looked at me even I went inside the showroom and walked around for 5 mins, but I saw at least 7 employees there just chit chating 3 at the sales room and 2 at the services and one just walk around. After being there without anyone even notice or show some interest or greeting at all, I walked to someone and just to see will they even serve me. Without telling them that I'm trying to purchase so I just said that I might need some stuff for couple of my Porsche. The answer that I got was, part is closed just look online then nothing else; not even wanting to help me further. I literally was like that's how u treat customer, then I just walked out. Our first Porsche and there was a problem with then hatch not locking properly. Jose Rodel aka smiley took it with a loaner on short notice and got it back to us the next morning all done and repaired on a recently issued recall by Porsche for rear end electonics malfunctions. Jose knew this had to be done quickly and swiftly and gave us back our Macan GTS EV in tip top shape. It is there's no surprise to me that I came to Yelp to leave a review for Ontario Porsche and then there are hundreds of others who clearly feel the same way I do!!!! I started my search for a new lease about a week ago.... for me, it was between a Range Rover sport and a Porsche Cayenne. I had sent out emails to about seven different Land Rover dealerships and about eight different Porsche dealerships. Within a couple hours the very first person I heard back from from Porsche was the Manager Pouya Tavllodi. From his first email response, which was very forthcoming, I could tell he wasn't the type to play games... He was just a straight shooter and based on his response to me through email, it made me want to talk to him. From the minute I got on the phone with him I could tell he was a genuine, kind and caring person, Aunt straight up and someone I would want to work with and do business with. Over the course of the next week I probably spoke to 15 different dealerships and not one even came close to the vibe that I felt when working with Pouya. I made it out to Ontario last night and as I was driving out there, I was still considering some other options... I had gotten a pretty good price from one Land Rover dealership... and I was still not sure if I was going to love the Cayenne since I had never driven one and I hadn't seen the car I was considering in person. For context, I've had Range Rover's for the past 16 years... and the past five leases I had, had been Range Rover's. Prior to that I had had a Porsche 911. So you could say I was pretty loyal to the Land Rover brand. From the minute, I walked in the dealership Pouya walked right up to me he knew who I was. He saw me drive in. He gave me a big hello and we went to his office and he immediately said let's let you drive the car and he connected me with Carlos who took me for a test drive, and I knew immediately when my heart went pitter patter that I really wanted this car. Then I went to have the conversation w Pouya to make a deal... I knew that he was being reasonable and fair about pricing because we had already come to some rough numbers on a car that was a little less expensive... I'm not going to share the exact deal I got, but let's just say that it was very competitive and reasonable and other dealerships were not even in the ballpark.... and I did not get the warm fuzzies with other dealerships. I was working with. I did not feel important. I did not feel special. I did not feel like they really cared. I was just a number to them. I am the type that wants to do business with people that showed me that they really care and they really want my business and they're going to fight for me. And the entire team at Ontario Porsche did just that. They helped me get into the Cayenne of my dreams... And I was treated like a princess for the next four hours that I was there and I know people may say well why were you there four hours..... well I literally got the Porsche VIP treatment. I don't want to get into specifics, but they showered me with so many wonderful perks and just did some incredible things that went far above and beyond what I've experienced with any other car dealership in my life! I will share a few... For one I drove over an hour to the dealership coming from Ladera Ranch, and I was trying to figure out how I would get the car because I had driven my own car to the dealership and Pouya said Carlos would drive the car back and they would just get him an Uber home!! I was literally in tears. I was so shocked at that offer... Further, they were offering me wine and even washed my Range Rover for me! And in addition, gave me a certificate to the Porsche shop, which was really appreciated and I got to bring home a T-shirt for my husband and a really cool mug and a new keychain!! it was amazing also to meet the rest of the team....Dan the second manager and I really bonded over a really interesting story. He is the salt of the Earth and I was thrilled to meet him. I get to know him and Kyle and financing as incredible and just a really great person... Everybody from this dealership is top-notch... Don't get me wrong- the actual purchase of my vehicle at this dealership was stellar! I purchase a "certified" Macan at Ontario Porsche and literally have had nothing but problems with the mechanics of this vehicle. I e been complaining about the vehicle hesitating since 22,000 miles. Soooooo many things have forgone wrong with this vehicle. Oil pump Fuel pump Motor mounts High pressure fuel pump Coolant system and bleed lines The issues began right around 50,000 miles. Non stop issues that put my children and myself in danger. My vehicle is in their shop again and of course, another 10k of work needed. My vehicle was their shop over 30 days in 2023 and nothing but issues. Not to mention their service team used gum to stick post-it notes all over the back seat of my car saying "Diagnostic Daddy" was here. I refuse to keep doing this with them so today is the day, I'm getting the car back, absorbing the huge loss on this vehicle and purchasing something other than Porsche. I've battled this out with Porsche corporate and the dealership and nobody cares. So your research before buying a Porsche. They have so many issues with their vehicles right now. This review is about their service department and utter lack of professionalism. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but 2 says of non-contact warranted a scathing review. I called 2 days ago about a simple service: replace my tires (20 inch N-Spec) and give me a quote to replace the spark plugs. At the time they needed to talk to their parts department about both but would contact me shortly. 6 hours go by and no call. How hard is it to price spark plugs and tires (yes, I am doxxing myself for Ontario). So I call back and speak to Patrick who is able to give me a price to replace my tires, but given that it was late in the day would have to get back to me on the spark plugs. Next day mid-morning......no call about the spark plugs. I call and ask again but no service advisor is available but they see my "ticket" in their system and assure me that Patrick will call me back. Fast forward 4 hours....no call from PATRICK (key point, PATRICK).....its spark plugs and tires....so I call again and speak to the receptionist around mid afternoon since no one in Service (very poor quality Serivce) picked up. Do not take your Porsche here, unless you enjoy chaos and confusion as part of the luxury experience. I brought up a few concerns (seatbelt, sensors, etc.) and was told it would be $300 per issue just for them to "look" at it. What a deal -- premium pricing for absolutely nothing. Recalls have been nonstop for years, and yet the internal communication here is still a mystery. The person answering the phone, the service advisor, and the loaner department each have their own "facts," none of which match. It's like a game show where the prize is frustration. I was quoted 12 business days for a recall, given a loaner, and thought everything was finally going smoothly. Then suddenly, after just 6 days, they tell me my car is ready and I must return the loaner within 24 hours or I'll start getting charged. Because nothing says customer service like surprise ultimatums. This isn't about the money -- it's about basic professionalism and common sense, which seem to be optional here. read more
