UPDATE - On the 17th I was charged for four days of rental car - $180.04 which I was told that it was free of charge since they could not offer their cars. I returned the rental car very next day once I was given and someone in the dealer returned it few more days later. When I called Henry, he told me that this error will be fixed within 24 hours but as of 22nd there's no resolution. Well the previous reviews below did not really help me much because I wasn't happy with this dealer's service. The service guy, Henry was not helpful nor kind to me at all. He didn't even know what was going on either because he wouldn't want to talk. It took 27.5 hours to get basic 10k service. He kept delaying and delaying so I went to the service center after giving up on waiting. It was 1 hour trip to the dealer and I again waited another 30 minutes after I was told the car was ready. It was horrible experience I will not visit this dealer again. read more

My husband was looking for a 911 with certain specifications, but we weren't pleased with our local Las Vegas dealership. I made some calls to several Southern California dealerships, and none were as responsive as this one. Tony called me right away and said he would do a nationwide search for the car we wanted. He called me back within 5 minutes and said he found one in Florida (the only one in the US with these specifications). He went above and beyond to arrange for the car to be shipped to California. I purchased my 2017 Macan in January, and our salesperson, Giovanni Bucci, made the entire purchase process flawless and very pleasant. He even gave me his personal cell phone number in case I had any questions after the fact. Last week I took my car back to Walter's Porsche for its first routine service, and I had run over a LARGE screw and was told by a local tire shop that I needed a new tire. My service adviser was Michael Barcelona, and he was equally as wonderful! Michael was able to send my existing tire out to have it repaired, and then performed service on the car and had me up and running in no time. He even found the pair of glasses I had lost!! The waiting area was comfortable, with complimentary coffee, water and pastries, and free WIFI. I will definitely be asking for Michael by name from here on forward. Went to have the seatbelt receiver replaced on my Cayman. Also got the special 299 detail and paintless dent removal, as a treat to myself. Upon picking up the car, noted opaque dried drops all over the car, as if someone washed another car next to mine. Carpet clean, though no attention to the direction of vacuum, so chaotic and messy looking. Wheels full of brake dust drips and throwoff, as not cleaned in two steps as large drilled rotor wheels need to be. Did not pursue this, as I was preoccupied with another problem; when the seat was replaced by them, they had left my Ipod integration cord under the seat bracket. It was especially difficult to retrieve and route through, and I'm on my knees in their driveway for a good 15 minutes. After bloodying both hands and frustrated, I did restore my cord to useability, though too frustrated for a civil discussion regarding the lack of detail in the detail job. Drove home looking through my spotted windshield. Overall, the lesson is to not get a car detailed at a dealership. That is not their core business, and not what they are good at. Similar to going to a Chinese restaurant to buy a sandwich, so lesson learned. I would still go to Walter's Porsche however for service, or to buy a Porsche, because that is what they are good at. read more

Review is for sales specifically. Came in on a Sunday looking at purchasing 2 vehicles. One was a Panamera and the other was a Macan. While I was cross between a Macan S and a Macan GTS my fiancé was set on a Panamera. Explained to JB what we were looking at and exclaimed our budget. He didn't seem to like our budget for the Panamera which apparently seemed unreasonable for "our" price range in his eyes. However we still looked at one which my fiancé could barely fit in the Panamera so that crossed off that vehicle unfortunately. However I still am interested in a Macan. Not sure if JB didn't think our image fit the "Porsche customers" he is use to selling to or not but he did not seem interested at all in selling us a vehicle. Don't get me wrong he was not pushy by any means but his attitude to wanting to sell us a vehicle that day was non existent. JB ultimately gave us a we didn't belong there type attitude. I guess I'll be going to Irvine Porsche and ordering a Macan GTS. Such a shame as I know countless individuals that have recommended this Porsche dealer. read more

I am writing this to say that I would never purchase another vehicle from this dealership after the incident that recently took place with the GM Mark Merchant and owner of the dealership Steve Kinley. In December 2017 I purchased a new GT3 from a salesman named Tony Nguyen who was absolutely without a doubt the best salesman that has ever sold me a car and I buy a lot of cars! In July 2018 I decided to sell my GT3 and purchase a Lamborghini, I contacted Tony Nguyen and asked him if his dealership was associated with a Lamborghini dealership as I wanted to purchase the car from Tony. I also asked If Riverside Porsche would purchase my GT3 as they did not have a GT3 in their inventory, Tony asked his dealership and they would purchase the car back but for a significant loss in price. With only 900 miles on the car and in pristine condition I decided to sell the car on my own. I did not have any idea on where or how to list the car for sale and asked Tony if he could help me, Tony said that he would list the car on the internet for me, but I would have to answer the calls, send pictures and take care of the sale. "NOTHING TO GAIN FOR TONY" only to help a customer that made a purchase from him in the past. During the month of July an employee saw the listing on the internet and told the GM Mark Merchant that Tony was listing a car for someone else. Tony was immediately called in to the dealership and was terminated. I contacted Mark Merchant at the dealership and talked to him over the phone and explained in length that Tony Nguyen only listed my GT3 as a favor to me, he gained nothing for doing this and did nothing in the sale of my car! I also reached out to the owner Steve Kinley and told him the same information that was passed along to Mark. Tony Nguyen was terminated for being honest, helping a customer and for doing the right thing! So I ask you, if they would terminate an employee that sold more cars than anyone there after hearing some bogus news, what would they do to a customer when you need them! I was in the market for an upgrade to my BMW 335i that I was suppose to turn in next month. Problem is that I was suppose to keep my BMW, put in major modifications, and went over mileage. BMW gave me a good deal to pay off my car and pay a certain amount for the trade in difference if I paid msrp for a new M4. Michael Georgie has been in contact for me for a month after I stopped by and showed interest in getting a Porsche. He went above and beyond to get me the 911. I discussed my other car options with him and was very understanding (never pushy). He treated and talked to me as a friend; more approachable than anyone I encountered at the multiple Porsche, Maserati, BMW, or Mercedes dealers I encountered during my hunt for a new car. Michael got the deal done, matched the price BMW would have given me ($5400 vs. over $12k to turn the car back in), took a few grand off the final price for the low mileage 911, made me feel very welcome and accommodated me through out the whole process. I've gone through several cars and salesmen within the past few years. Jay B was also very helpful and honest when it came down to the financing aspect of the transaction. Michael Georgie will have a lifetime customer. He truly is the most respectable, flexible, and helpful dealer I've ever done business with.
