I bought a car at Porsche Tucson in Arizona. The salesman sell me gap insurance APPI. My experience was: don't buy that, because APPI in my opinion are scammers. After a few years and an accident, my car was a total loss. My insurance paid off their part, but APPI GAP insurance didn't. APPI GAP needed to pay 5k$. Instead, after months of me sending documents and calling and speaking to different representatives, they canceled my case because I "didn't provide them all documents in 90 days" since my case was opened. This is a false claim because I've been providing every document, some of them more than once whenever they ask. APPI has done an amazing job at ignoring everything and just doing what they needed to make sure they didn't pay the bill. APPI after asking me asked me provide them additional documents, would review those documents 7 business days instead 2 business days as listed on their website. Each time I contacted them, it was to tell them they always had the documents they were requesting. Each time I've had to contact this company they've given me a complete run around that would add more time to my case so they could just close it out instead of doing the honest thing and paying the bill, since I already paid the bill when I bought the car. They've been extending my case as long as possible for their agenda, so they could legally cancel my case. I understood this early on, and I specifically asked via email "90 business days or calendar?". They didn't answer that simple question. They replied "call us". I called and their representative said "you don't have to worry about 90 days, there's no deadline". Two separate representatives gave me that answer when I asked about the deadline. I asked their representative for an email me confirmation of their words. She's confirmed she would email. As you can guess, that person emailed me anything. They have all lied to me, they were extremely rude, hanging up the phone while they were talking to me without calling back. I have provided all documents, I have stayed in top of the by calling and asking them to do their job. But, it looks like they worked to slow on purpose so APPI would not be responsible for paying the $5k which I had to pay for when I purchased the car. I trusted Porsche. They are a big, internationally renowned brand with huge success and publicity throughout many countries. I thought the company was honest and reputable, and trusted the 3rd party companies, recommended to me by Porsche (Like APPI Gap Insurance) to be as honest and responsible as Porsche. I trusted and believed without a doubt, Porsche would not work I with a dishonest company. Now I'm feeling and have been completely deceived. I don't want any business with Porsche. This situation is the responsibility of Porsche as the recommending company so it's shame on Porsche as well as APPI Gap Insurance. This deceitful situation reminds of pro Soviet Union, when it was a corrupted country, which is where I came from many years ago. An honest and responsible customer as me, who paid everything on time since I bought my car, doesn't deserve that kind of discriminate and prejudiced treatment. read more

Had the Tucson Porsche dealer install new front struts on my 2001 Boxster. Having been a Porsche/Audi/VW mechanic back in the 80's I'm pretty particular on what I let the dealer do. I still perform a lot of mechanical work on my Boxster. I do want to praise the dealer for allowing me to purchase the parts required for this installation which saved me a bundle. They have been great in honoring my membership in the PCA by giving me a discount. Driving my Boxster home after the strut install I noticed how tight the front end was. There is one complaint I have concerning this visit and a few others. And that is someone that moves cars at the dealership is YANKING the parking brake lever so hard I can barely get it released. when a nice 2 or 3 clicks will hold the car just fine 'cause that's the way I adjusted. Overall they did a great job this time and my Boxster was sparkling clean when I picked it up. read more

I recently had service at Porsche Tucson. From the appoint-ment scheduling to the service consultant, everything was handled professionally. A loaner car was ready when I arrived. My service issue was complicated. There was wind noise even at low speeds. I had the opportunity to take a drive with Justin, the shop foreman, who heard the wind and had a plan to correct it. His plan was formulated based on his observations and his twenty years of experience. His assessment was spot on and I am very happy to report that I no longer am hearing the wind noise.
