After pulling over to the side of the road, I proceeded to look for the spare tire. I must admit I was surprised to find that the Pacifica was not equipped with any sort of a spare tire. Shortly, a State Trooper pulled up behind us to offer help. He was extremely helpful and made a couple recommendations. First was to call Waynes Automotive as he runs a 24 hr emergency towing service. The second was to call a local tire center to confirm that they would have a replacement tire. Everything could not have gone better considering my situation. Wayne pulled up and loaded the van on his Rollback and took us to the local tire store. Service was prompt and courteous. The price was reasonable. To top it all off, the tire store brought showed me the 4 tires while the vehicle was on the lift and I saw they were all cracking and needed to be replaced. They had replacements in stock and were reasonably priced. Thanks to several great people in the Pulaski area, we still made it to Watertown with plenty of time to enjoy the day. Thank you Wayne!

He responded very quickly, and brought an assistant and a flat bed trailer big enough to haul the motorhome. He was able to quickly resolve all the technical problems and loaded the motorhome. When we got to the destination, he helped resolve issues associated with gaining access to the storage facility. Wayne was courtious, professional, and patient during the whole experience. His fee was in line with exectations. A very good experience. I would recommend Wayne's Automotive for all your towing needs without hesitation.

Along the way, they kept me apprised of each update, from parts arrival to paint and detailing completion. After getting a $1,400 quote from the stealership for my vehicle's required 60K fluid replacement…read moremaintenance, I decided to call some local service shops for alternatives. I chose to go with Murphy's and there was a slight issue with getting my transfer case oil changed, but in the end I was glad that the mechanic did not put in the wrong fluid, and instead waited until the OEM-specified fluid was available the following week. I was very grateful that the wrong fluid was not used, despite the delay. However, when we returned we waited with the vehicle for the transfer case to be done which took ~45 minutes, just as promised. In the end, I saved ~$500 and now have confidence in another local shop that will do things correctly, even if it isn't convenient.

i'd give 0 stars if i could…read more hi friends! just a PSA i guess- an honest review, if you will. a long one though, so buckle in. S&R auto in sandy creek (sandy creek one doesn't have a yelp, but this is the same owner.) has had my car for 6 months, i did get it back briefly (2 hours maybe? in october ish? idk but shortly after i got it, my car overheated again. which was the original problem.) the owner (or anybody else) never calls me back (i have the phone records to prove it, he just keeps insisting he has even though he hasn't until today), and now that i've asked for my car back and to just honor the original payment agreement for the work they did do (i have a signed payment agreement saying i'll pay $50 a week) and have the rest of the work done elsewhere, he told me that the payment agreement no longer applies and i cannot get my car until it's all paid in full- even though i have the original signed agreement for the work they've done, which was fine with them until i said 6 months was far too long and that i wanted to just make my payments and take my car elsewhere for the rest of the work. now, not only will they not give me my car back, he's mad that i told him i didn't want to have to go the litigation route, so he said because i mentioned litigation, he's also going to charge me an $85 a day storage fee. but won't let me pick up my car or honor our payment agreement, which i made clear i'm happy to do. (the original problem was that it was overheating. they had it 3 months the first time time, replaced like 4 things, and called it good.) i had it back less than 2 hours before it overheated again. they towed it back to their shop, and when the owner's daughter called the day after, she said that my radiator hose blew and now i need a new engine. she said the hose was way softer than it was supposed to be, guess they're supposed to be hard and mine was definitely not because of the overheating issue.. but for some reason they didn't notice that the first time, guess they just didn't check it? anyways because that blew, they said i need a new engine now and the cheapest they can do is upwards of 7k i would not recommend this shop to literally anybody. i've been without my car for 6 months, they told me i could do a payment plan and i even have a signed paper from them- but now that he's mad, he won't let me do the payment plan, and he's holding my car hostage, forcing me to pay $85 a day in storage fees even though, again, i told him i'd be more than happy to honor the payment agreement we originally signed for the original work done, even though i'm not sure any of the work done previously even needed to be done, as it didn't fix anything and actually made it worse tldr; please for the love of god, take your car somewhere they will actually fix it, communicate with you, and not scam you and hold your car hostage for half a year+. i wish i had checked reviews first.

They have had plenty of opportunity to make me pay for unneeded work and have always been honest about what actually needed to be fixed. Recently, they figured out what was making my jeep run rough. Turned out a rather large and popular after market shop in Syracuse that installed my lift kit and oversized tires did not do so properly! Jeep runs better than it did when it was new! And this is only one of many examples I could give!!! You're crazy if you don't use this shop for maintenance and major repairs!
