For this reason, I decided to go with an Arnold Bennet skillet that included smoked trout. If you at all like the thought of lox and eggs, then you definitely need to try this one. It also had Parmesan, chives, and crème fraiche mixed in. The taste of this combination on a piece of toast was delicious! And something I would happily enjoy again and at reasonable prices. Plus, it was enough food that I finished it for breakfast the next morning. The seating area looks and feels like a typical NY diner. Our waitress was quick and efficient and the coffee was good and fresh. Especially with the limited number of dining locations in the Catskills area, Phoenicia diner is definitely worth a stop.

The potatoes, however, were amazing! They were nice and crispy, which I really enjoyed. My daughter really enjoyed her meal. She ordered the French toast, sausage, bacon, pancakes, and eggs, and she was very happy with everything. Overall, the food was a mixed experience for me, but there were definitely some highlights--especially those crispy potatoes!
