Well, I suppose I am bias because having worked there I understand they treat their employees pretty poorly. Overworked and underpaid may sound cliched, but it just fits here. Rather than simply let the staff take off after the kids left on a Friday, they had us work meaningless tasks to "get our hours in" despite the fact we already worked 10+ hour days the rest of the week. Gee thanks a lot for caring. If you're sending your kids here or looking to stay as a conference group, it's a pretty decent place. But know that despite what their employees may tell you, they don't like working there. Proof is in the high turn over of staff. I'm sure it's a decent place to visit, but there are many other and better places to work in the field of Environmental Education if that's your thing

I'm a new resident and I'm still changing my id's and billing addresses. Spoke to a lovely gentleman a couple of weeks ago and was told as long as i have the Secaucus lease with my name on it, I'm eligible to sign up. Today spoke to a nasty woman who told me that i was misinformed and in fact do need ID with Secaucus address, I politely reminded her that i know at least of 4 people that signed up with ID's from different city's and provided their Secaucus leases, she told me that's not true and I was lying. I literarily know 4 people that did this with no problem and multiple staff members from the gym notified me that the lease is all i need. I understand that sometimes people are not trained well and might be misinformed, I worked in hospitality for 12 years, but this woman, besides being completely clueless, was incredibly rude, interrupted me and even raised her voice. Not sure what she is going through, but we just signed up for LA Fitness and will never go to Rec center. Please retrain her, she is a horrible employee.

The staff was amazing in how they diligently worked together to make it carefree fun for the youth. Preparing every meal with precision, attractively and love three times a day for 5 days! perfectly. The top notch menu catered to the youth, the endless activities and the absolute beauty of this place was amazing. The acres of grounds kept perfectly! The concern for our comfort. What a place for the youth to feel absolutely free and not be concerned about anything. To keep the youth focused on non stop activities and relating to each other, no phones were allowed! Good thing! I saw a deer or two. No bears : ) . I strongly suggest you take your teen there to renew, refresh and know what it is like to just feel free.

And after just one visit here I'm upset I never tried this sooner. The staff here is really friendly and helpful and will be glad to answer any questions. I was also skeptical of these simulators, I didn't expect it would be very fun or engaging, but it is. I just did the driving range simulator, where you hit off of an automated tee. Great setup and it lets you concentrate on hitting the ball. I'm as much of a beginner as they come, but even after just one session, I have noticeably improved and can't wait to come back. I was here with my 7 year old and we both had a great time. Great for families as well. Great vibe here. Highly recommended. Price is good as well.
