Great food! Very attentive bar tenders. Very welcoming and inviting establishment. They have beef tallow too!

The place is small, but very cozy. It was also super clean. The barmaid was a sweetheart, and we sat outside under their shade and enjoyed ourselves. I had a seasonal beer that is house brewed in collaboration with a cancer charity, and it was fantastic - great flavor, very fresh, perfect! My wife tried a bougie cocktail from the bar, and she enjoyed it as well. We had some hot pretzels with beer cheese and ground mustard, and these too were good. I need to get back there for a more involved sampling, and plan to do so the next time we're out that way. Based on our experience, this place is a solid 5.

First, the building itself is really neat! They give you the history of it on their menu. They kept the character of the original space and also added some fun touches (like an old card catalog used as a cabinet). The night I was there, one of the brewers was behind the bar along with my server. It was interesting chatting with both of them about the history of the brewery and the space and about how they develop new beers. I sampled a few beers and settled on their seasonal pumpkin brew. I really enjoyed the creative names and stories behind the beers. My favorite name is probably "beer flavored beer" The only reason it wasn't five stars is that the food could be a little better. I ordered the monthly special sandwich (which was Thanksgiving themed with turkey and cranberry sauce) but I expected more than deli meat turkey, I guess. A great place to grab a beer in a beautiful setting. I'd definitely come back.

My husband's grandfather used to come here often since it was just across the street from where he lived. My husband had been here with him before but my first visit was when we came to town for his grandfather's funeral. A few family members stopped by the bar afterward as a tribute to him. We haven't had many chances to visit Ford City since both of his grandparents passed away. This time, we were visiting our uncle in Kittanning so we decided to stop by to grab our favorite hot sausage. It was around lunchtime and the barstools were already filled with locals. We got our hot sausage and my husband enjoyed a beer with it while we talked about his grandpa and shared some memories. It was a simple visit but a meaningful one. We'd love to stop by again the next time we're in the area.

It's prepared by the bartender on a griddle right behind the bar and the sub roll is amazing as well. Their pastrami on rye is worth it for the delicious rye bread alone. I think it's from a local bakery. It's cheap and delicious and worthy of a long drive from Harmar (and a flight from Orlando) for some good food... and cheap beer!

If this place was cleaned up, it would be honestly be a great place to hang. However, the place is dirty. The refillable ketchup bottles, vinegar and salt and pepper shakers are sticky and greasy. There are flies swarming around the table and the female restroom is atrocious. The waitress that usually waits on us seems pained to have to wait tables. It takes forever to get served and she never checks on us. I really wish this place would clean it up. I'd like to see it gain business. Edit: Things are improving. They seemed to have gotten rid of the nasty bartender/waitress. Don't give up hope yet!

They are a full wing, drum stick, flat and tip. So a dozen wings here is like two dozen most other places. As far as the bar atmosphere it is like almost every other small town SW Pennsylvania bar I've ever been in. This ain't NYC. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a dark beer on tap, a nice porter. I had prepared myself to get stuck with a Bud, Miller Lite, or Iron City. I found my bartender friendly enough and, yes, bring cash. The sign on the door says no credit cards for less than $50 tab. If you like dark, semi-seedy bar atmosphere, want something other than IC lite and decent bar food, it's not a bad choice.
