Was in Manning for an appointment and ended up looking for somewhere to eat. This ended up being close by, and ended up being a great choice. I ended up getting the prime rib sandwich, and it ended up being the best sandwich I have ever had, and I've had loads of prime ribs sandwiches from all over. It has a really great atmosphere, and the servers are really great. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat, and will most certainly be back next time we happen to be in town!! read more

My husband and I were escaping hurricane Irma. Luckily we got to this small country town with kind ppl. We went for a dinner to this local family restaurant and we were amazed. Fast, delicious, amazing and simply FANTABULUS PLACE!!! Our appetizer was "chicken wings", and it was very classic. We ordered "parrot fish" to share and it came out astonishing. It was in chef's special sauce with saute sweet peppers!!! Moreover, I did not know what the "grits" was, and chef brought us a sample of it, it was a size of a meal for us but it was just a sample! If I could give less stars I would...by far one of the worst ribeye steaks I've ever been charged $22 for. We walked in & were seated right away. Ordered drinks, waited more than 20 mins for them to be served. Food took an hour to arrive, we had to ask for bread & then my steak came without the side...supposed to come with 2 sides, only received one. When I asked where the other side was the serve said he'd check on it then came back to say it would be out in a little while....bye, Felicia...won't be back. Save your $$$ & your time. On the upside, my dog will have a nice treat...she doesn't mind a chunk of meat full of grissle! read more

We called ahead (we had a big group) and asked for outdoor seating. When we arrived, the door to the outdoor seating was locked and we were seated inside. The service was super slow. I ended up with something white floating in my water. Had to ask like 3 times for a straw. The chicken salad sandwich was completely disgusting- the meat was super stringy, rubbery, and bland bland bland. Stick with a regular salad. Oh, and remember that a gratuity of 20% is automatically added to the total, so remember that when you go to sign your bill. read more

Won't go back for a long time. None of the wait staff are wearing masks for virus protection. Wait staff gather at one end of restaurant and do not maintain social distancing. Observed waiter hand carrying two glasses of wine to a table with his fingers around the top of the glasses where you would drink from---very unprofessional---and poort training by the owners. read more

Went a few months ago when visiting family and things were mediocre. Wanted to try again while we were in SC so my husband and I went to eat supper and we felt very unwelcome. Our service was not where we feel it should have been and our food came out WARM. NOT HOT. It always smells a little funny and the bathrooms NEVER work. And unlike our supper it was very hot in there!!! would recommend new staff and moving the establishment to a better location. Will not be back!!!! read more

Best food in the surrounding three counties. Love this place, wish it was closer to my house, I don't even live in Clarendon, but I try to go here as much as possible, the food is that good! What a great find on our trip to Florida from Connecticut. Was staying in Manning on our way to Florida and Yelped this place. It is a fabulous steak house with great service. Tabitha was a great waitress and ambassador for South Carolina. She had such great southern charm. The steaks we ordered were cooked to our order and were delicious. If you're ever in the area, this is the place to go! Super friendly service and fabulous eats! Our waitress, Caitlyn was so nice to us and provided excellent service. I don't know who the chef is, but he or she really knows what they're doing. From the apps to the desserts... everything was outstanding. I ordered the sirloin for my main dish and it was the most tender and flavorful cut I've had in a long time. The fried okra didn't have a drop of grease on it which was a pleasant surprise as most other places serve up grease soaked fried foods. The bourbon wings that my father in law ordered were phenomenal and my husband's burger was juicy and full of flavor. I've been lucky enough to dine at some of the finest restaurants in many major cities across America and I have to say that this restaurant holds its own in comparison. I also enjoyed the ambiance; it was comfortable and welcoming. Caitlyn even gave us a tour of the new private party room which was beautiful and full of rustic charm. We will make it a point to stop here when traveling through on our trips up and down the east coast. read more

I have heard many things about the place, but I decided to experience it myself. The food was great other than NOT getting the rest of my meal like I was told. The restaurant seemed clean and decorated very well, but the customer service sadly is better at McDonald's. A little word of advice don't go on lunch because you're going to have wait forever while the owner stares you in the face & does absolutely nothing to help you!! The waitresses had no sense of customer service & disappeared into the kitchen all together at once. I would never recommend this place for anyone & I will never grace the doors of that establishment again. Never seen anything like it before!! read more
