Secondly I grabbed their Plenty Evil that was inspired by the Good & Plenty candy Absinthe Frappe. My wife's drinks were phenomenal and would both be go to orders for her and we both found a new favorite Espresso Martini. My first drink nailed the perfect mix of peanut butter flavor with a classic Old Fashioned. Secondly despite not being a huge licorice/good & plenty candy this drink was delicious! I look forward to returning for a non Halloween themed visit but we were both extremely impressed. If you are looking for a bar to grab drinks and want a nice and chill vibe this is your spot. So something for everyone. And they have 4 BBQ sauces on the table to choose from and I still love their Blueberry BBQ Sauce!! We just found out they do a hot chicken wing challenge!! You get 6 wings to eat in 3 minutes, no drink, dip or sides - once eaten, you have to wait 5 minutes, again with nothing else to cool your mouth down with...if you make it, you get your picture taken and put on the wall and a T-shirt and the wings are free. If you fail, you have to buy the wings. :) We both ordered off the special and tried the Brisket Sloppy....oooh, sooo good. I got mine with an order of Mac-n-Cheese and yum! We also tried their Burnt Ends, again YUM and I had to dunk mine in the Blueberry BBQ Sauce!! My husband had Chili and it was a large bowl and very good. During a recent off-season trip to Boothbay, we finally stopped by, and I was genuinely surprised this little whiskey bar exists right in the middle of town. It's a sub shop during the day, but after hours it becomes this moody, intimate and cozy space with a huge whiskey selection. I'm a big whiskey fan (not an expert by any means, just a fan), but my husband isn't, so this could've gone either way. To my surprise, the vibe was super relaxed, and by that I mean not even a hint of pretentiousness (that whiskey bars are sometimes known for). The bartender, who also owns the place, was so welcoming and friendly, helpful, and running the whole thing solo like a pro. The whiskey list was wild (it just seemed never-ending), and the cocktail menu had plenty of options for non-whiskey drinkers too (my husband loved his drink!).
