Our spot was by the boats but there are some next to the water (seemed colder and I wouldn't be able to sit outside). And more $$$ Quiet, nearby restaurants (closed Mon/Tues) . Not very busy at all on the week we were there. Fire pit, picnic table, level areas, cable TV Office guy very nice

    View behind/above lots 4, 5, and 6.

We made our reservation in person a month prior since we were camping at a nearby campground. They are friendly and welcoming. It was a simple and straightforward experience. The lot we took was number 4. The other lots were fully booked so we didn't have much of a choice other than 5 and 6 which are the cheapest rates I believe. No matter what lot you choose, you are within walking distance to the bay. I've been to RV parks tighter in space than these so it wasn't much of an issue. Restrooms do include showers and are maintained. There are restaurants within walking distance as well that adds to the glamping experience. Highly recommended, but reserve far in advance for more options.

We stayed in site 41. Beautiful view. Clean, quiet campground. Very relaxing. Had a fire pit and picnic table. Wi-Fi and cable TV worked, although we stayed outside most of time and enjoyed the view.

This place is amazing! Love the small quaint friendliness of the campground. Beautiful water front campsites, with about half of them being full hookups. It is a little challenging to locate the office and where you should initially park to check in. The staff is very friendly and will provide recommendations to the local hotspots and festivals. Oh wait, there is more, did I mention there is a wine bar 900 ft. from the campsites. This wine bar serves flights of wine on cute surf boards. You can sit on the patio outside, sipping your cocktails, and enjoy the beautiful water front views. This is a must go to place!

This is one of two RV places that mean hubby always come to every single year. We love Porto Marina because it sits in an inlet in the bay where you can get a site close enough to the water. It gets pretty slammed in here during the high season so make sure you make a reservation. They also have about 10 dry camping spots here that's right across from the bathrooms. I love that there are a handful of spots that can fit or 38 feet Rig. The last time we came here we couldn't fit into a spot so they swapped us around it also happen to be the World Cup and in their Play house there's a full kitchen there and TV that they allowed us to come watch one of the games at. The staff here are very friendly and super helpful. One of the changes I notice for 2020 was that they do charge a $10 reservation fee on top of your site fees. That's only good for summer when it's really packing you know the spot you wanna be in. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit provided with water and amp hook up. There is a full bathroom and shower here and it is within walking distance from two restaurants. A nice peaceful place to relax at indefinitely.

This is a great place to sit by the bay with full hookups. The staff keep it clean and are proactively helpful. The price is getting concerning at 110 per night for the waterside locations. But I have to admit it is pretty cool to hear the sea lions at night and the fog horn every 15 seconds. The bathrooms are clean and warm. Our neighbors are friendly and hospitable. Boats are constantly slipping in and out to go fishing. Just a nice place to be.

Gravel parking lot with a view in a run-down marina. Sites/setting: Contrary to other reviews, I didn't feel that the sites were terribly tight, but it has that "open parking lot" feeling with very little trees, bushes, etc to separate you from your neighbors. Everything is gravel, no grassy patches. The marina itself looked pretty rough. I'm sure it was nice in the past, but it looks very unmaintained and rundown. We were unable to get a site on the water, so my review is based on staying in one of the interior sites. The sites on the water had a great view although no usable "beach" space. Amenities/Utilities: All sites have picnic tables and a nice large fire pit. No laundry facility. No dog park/area, but doggie bags were provided. No playground or play area. There were two restaurants in the marina one that served breakfast and lunch and a wine bar that served lunch and dinner (closes at 8pm). No military discount offered. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Initially we didn't mind paying the $75 a night since were were going to be right near the water, but overall I felt like it was extremely overpriced for what it was. If you don't need hook-ups look into staying at Doran Regional Park.

Sitting at the wine bar next to Porto Bodega rv Park.

We really enjoyed our first experience at this rv Park. When we checked in and we returned later in our weekend to book another trip, the ladies were very nice and helpful both times. Yes the lot is gravel but no big deal to us. It was level and we did not notice any potholes and it was clean. The only thing we thought needed work was the fire pits. They were full and many of them were partially breaking apart (concrete blocks). It was great to be able to walk across the park to Ginochio's, a nice little breakfast and lunch restaurant, great food and pastries. Right next door is a wine bar/ restaurant which had a tasty selection of wines/beers and a really fresh plate of mussels in a garlicky white wine broth-sooo good. We sat outside and with a beautiful view of the marina and bay. Overall it was a great weekend.

As camping sites go this place is pretty plain. No trees, gravel spaces and paved roads. Location is great and the sites are pretty level. There is a boat launch. And lots to do very close by. Most of the people here are friendly enough. The "quite" hours are not enforced, the office closes at 5:00 and you hardly see any employees during the day and never at night. So unless you're a social night owl or have a sound proof rv I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Families and groups of friends are not welcome -- even normal conversation outside "quiet hours" can get you kicked out. My family arrived at 9pm, set up quietly, and went to bed. I was two sites away from friends who were simply talking, and I couldn't hear a thing. Still, management evicted our entire group -- 9 campsites in total. By morning, a sheriff was outside our trailer. To his credit, he was calm, professional, and quickly saw we were just working professionals with kids. He even helped us find a friendlier campground that had a far better view of the water. Meanwhile, this park hands out a bizarre two-page "sin list" that literally calls children a "deadly sin." Bottom line: This place feels more like jail than a campground. Unless you plan on absolute silence, you risk being thrown out. Stay at one of the nearby RV parks -- they're friendlier and offer better views.

While we were simply sitting outside and talking, the manager showed up unannounced, never introduced themselves, and immediately accused us of being too loud. Instead of handling the situation in a respectful or professional way, they became extremely aggressive and threatening. We were told to leave on the spot, and when we asked for clarification, they claimed that if we didn't leave immediately, we would be considered trespassing. The manager escalated further by yelling at us, and eventually called the sheriff. Adding to the hostility, the park even has something in writing called the "7 Deadly Sins of RV Camping" -- shockingly, one of those "sins" listed is children. That alone says a lot about how little regard they have for families or guest comfort. Unfortunately we will never know if our kids are considered "well behaved" in their eyes since we left before our kids could even set foot on this place. This place is absolutely not for families with children or for multiple families looking to relax and hang out together by the campfire. It seems they do not want people spending time outside their RVs at all, which defeats the whole purpose of camping. Everything said about the managers in the other reviews is true -- they are rude, unprofessional, and create a hostile environment for guests. This type of treatment is completely unacceptable and made our stay very unpleasant. Save yourself the stress -- don't waste your time or money here. There are plenty of other RV parks that treat their guests with courtesy and respect.

Two years ago, I'll never forget, this guy was complaining to ANY Customer who would listen about how he does so much to keep this place open and that people that complain about anything and everything are so ungrateful. It was really really colorful and downright disgusting. Excuse me? The people that PAY YOUR TAXES are ungrateful that you don't upgrade the sites they pay extreme amounts for? That you don't offer any amenities such as a shower or even that thing called...electricity? That you cater towards camping trailers with no water hookups? Mmmm, ok guy. Breathe. You do not provide toilets. Let alone ADA compliant areas for the toilets. You provide nasty ports potty that aren't even level on the ground. How is anyone supposed to wheelchair into the porta potty? They shake when you are in them. And they are disgusting. Your workers? blast them with a sudo washer and don't even take out the seat covers OR the toilet paper....and miss all the grossness. And then leave the residual water/product....that's just nasty. You blast gross stuff off the floor ONTO the toilet paper and seat covers because of laziness. I mean seriously....it's barely 50 outside and now I have to sit on a nasty went porta potty because your are too lazy to upgrade, let alone move paper until you are done? Penny pinch much? And what a concept of adding a smelly paper tree to remove some nasty stink. The photos are of the "handicap" porta potty. The others were gross, too. If not worse. These were after a "clean" too! You also do not provide electricity or anything that resembles comfort here. The grounds are totally unlevel on the camp sites. So, you won't be seeing many disabled folks here. OOOOO, all the dumpsters were FULL. Everywhere. It was a Wednesday. Majority of the camp sites are behind dunes. Unless you go to the seawall area, with no running water there either. Nothing to see but your neighbors getting drunk and dogs wandering everywhere. Fun. Never saw a "camp ranger" once. You have so many sites crammed next to one another so you can benefit off making money. 60$ for a pair of sweats? What? Like, woah guy. Ego much? Ohhhh, let's talk about the campers! Zero enforcement. Parking in other peoples spots and parking IN the roadways. Legit blocking people. And then have rude persons get defensive because they got asked politely to move their illegally parked vehicles from your purchased spot. So like, no, this place is not great. You get belligerent people and their visitors.....mmmmm, fun. This place is not worth it. Overcrowded, too. This isn'y Yosemite, and if it were, it would at least offer real amenities.
