We needed something quick since we have to drive back home to the west side, so pizza would be a logical choice. We could have settled with your run of the mill chain pizza joints, but as usual I've opted to take a bit of a detour to support a local business. The moment we got into the car, we put in the order for a small Canadian pizza and by the time we got to the restaurant, the pizza was ready for us. We cracked open the box and my son and I started devouring the piping hot pizza with pepperoni, bacon, ham and mushrooms. I like the crust as it was somewhere in the middle in terms of thickness. There was a slight crunch to the surface and a good chewy texture in the middle. We were trying to eat fast, but we also tried to proceed with caution since we didn't want to burn the inside of our mouths off. It was pretty damn good pizza. Navona deserves your visit if you happen to be in the area.
