I've been going to Posados for MANY years; it's my favorite go to tex-mex place. Yesterday April 24, 2021 was my 50th birthday and my celebration was held there; POSADOS didn't disappoint. Eric is a jewel in this place; he has the sweetest personality, is very professional, he's extremely kind, and he ALWAYS places customer service FIRST. He took great care of me and truly made me feel like a queen; I could go on about how he helped to make my special day perfect. They even helped to decorate. Our waitress took great care of us to have the size party we had. I wish I had thought to just have them cater the dinner. It was my heart's desire to have a special, fun, and enjoyable 50th birthday experience; my expectations were exceeded. I highly recommend you to visit Posados and if you have any problems don't hesitate to ask for Antonio (the GM) or Eric; I promise you they'll take care of the issue. Great place to eat. Tucked away from the bustle of Loop 281. Get the fajitas as they are the best and don't forget to round out with sopapillas. Great place for the while family. Plenty of open dining space to see TV's for sports. read more

This is absolutely the BEST Mexican food you'll ever eat!!! Posados is hands down my favorite Mexican food place. My family and I have been eating here for years. Ignore the few negative reviews that may be here! The quality and taste is always delicious. I love the Cancun. It has long been my go-to dish of choice. No matter what I order everything is always wonderful. We love Posados! They are all good but Longview is big and never await. Food ia great and who doesn't like free icecream and sopapillas.

If you like Tex-Mex then you have to try this place. When I lived in Gladewater every Sunday we went to Longview just to eat here after church. The food is out of this world and you get way more then you can eat. Prices are a little high but I would say it's worth it or at least you owe it to yourself to try it at least once. And you have got to have some of the FREE tortilla, that are made fresh right in front of you. read more

This place is always really awesome. The service is perfect never had a bad experience and we go here all the time. The food is excellent. They make there own flour tortillas and chips and they are the best. My favorites here are the Shrimp Taco's, tortilla soup, steak fajitas, and the Chile raleno. read more

Best fajitas in town!! The fajita butter on the skillet is to die for! Homemade tortillas! Free sopapillas and ice cream! They have specials all the time on their alcoholic drinks. Posados 8/9/2105 This was the worst possible experience I have ever had at this restaurant. Let's begin with seating: There were several empty tables scattered throughout the seating are, but we were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait. Not bad by any standard, and can be explained by lack of wait staff, etc. However, when several parties smaller than yours are seated at 4 top tables, and came in after you, one begins to wonder. I asked the hostess about our seating arrangement and was perplexed to find that our names were no longer on the roster. She apologized, and we were seated immediately after. Secondly: For the love of God please fix the door to the kitchen! We heard every entrance, and exit! Due to the hinges and the door banging the wall each time! Next....yes, next....number three! What recipe for salsa calls for oil? Oil was floating on top of the salsa bowls, and the oil on the chips straight from the fryer, made for much larger oil slick. Fourth... Kids meals were pleasantly served in a decent amount of time! Any parent would/ should be grateful for that, and we are! Fifth... The adult meals, both from the seafood side, good right!? Heck no! The Pedro was not as it was described on the menu. There were solid cheese enchiladas with three shrimp in a butter cream sauce, three shrimp mind you. Cannot forget to mention that the cream sauce had split, and again there was an oil slick on top! I had the tilapia and shrimp, but I could barely find the fish and shrimp, as it was drowning in the same oily, split butter cream sauce. The fish and shrimp had been previously frozen, and was extremely evident by the taste and texture. The refried black beans were acceptable, and the rice was overdone, so much so that it was nearly paste. The bright spot in this visit was our waitress, who was attentive, and paid special attention to our kids. She even did well enough to listen to them ramble on about their new dresses, and exchange conversation with them as though they were hers! This will more than likely be the last time I visit this establishment, as the last few years it has gone downhill as far as food quality and service. read more

I've been hesitant to return to this restaurant due to the lack of organization and bad service. However my husband and I decided to give it another try. We went this evening and we're seated promptly. However we sat and waited for over 15 minutes and still no one bothered to take our drink orders. No one stopped to even tell us "I'm your server and will be with you momentarily". Nothing. We waited a few more minutes and watched as their waitstaff walked past us attending other tables, except for ours. We decided to leave as this was unacceptable. When we spoke to the manager on duty (Antonio) he apologized but didn't bother asking what section we were in or anything on those lines. I have years of management experience and I also know what a business should be run like. This was not it. The manager didn't even ask us to come back so he could make it right, he just said he hoped we'd come another day to eat there again. I thought we had just tried that. I honestly don't think one star is low enough but the cooks do a good job in the kitchen and don't deserve to be discredited. We will NEVER return to Posados in Longview and I will make sure the main management finds out, as well as my other friends who eat there. read more

We loved this place! The fajitas are amazing, and the sauce they bring on the skillet is to die for. Waiter was quick and friendly, even brought us the biggest bowl of quest I have ever seen! The sopapillas are really good too! Not crazy about the rice and beans though. read more

Best tex-mex in Longview! Food tastes great. The chips are the thin kind so they are not so filling (because we all fill up on chips and salsa before the meal, right?) Salsa is always wonderful. Food is very good and presentation is nice. They serve complimentary flour or corn tortillas with the meal. Service is always great. I have never had bad service here. The manager usually comes around near the end of the meal to check and make sure everything was great. Servers are always friendly and nice and I always think a couple of them would do just fine for dessert; however, this place has free sopapillas and ice cream for dessert instead. They have an abreviated menu for lunch with reduced prices. I would definitely give this place a try next time you are in the mood for Mexican! read more

Terrible service, took over an hour to get food during lunch time and the restaurant was not busy. When food finally came orders were wrong, never offered more tea or water, we had to ask for chips and hot sauce. I went up tp pay my bill and was charged 36.00 for one taco and tea, when i called it to their attention was told i would have to wait 5 to 7 days to be put back into my account the girl that was correcting waitress mistake was rude and argumentative. This is my second horrible experience at this restaurant. There sre too many mexican restaurants to waste my time here. read more

I have been going to Pasodos for 12 years and will continue to return. My favorite is the Gordo platter, you get to pick three meats of your choice out of several. The hot sauce is the best with cilantro at a tolerable level it doesn't overwhelm the hot sauce. The chips are light and crispy, also the floor tortillas are habit forming. The food was horrible. The cheese inside the enchiladas were cold as a brick. The rice tasted old. The fajitas were served on top of another cheese enchilada, not stuffed inside. The whole dinner tasted microwaved. We spent a lot of money on this dinner and we didn't even eat half of it. What a waste of money. Will probably not return in the future. On top of everything else, there were at least 10 tables and booths that were visibly open, yet we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated by a hostess who really did not want to be there.
