Very good. We've been a couple of times when we stay in Lindale on our Canton shopping trips. It was very busy but we only waited 5 min for a table. Our waitress was really busy but didn't ignore us - we got all our food on time. We had the yummy chips, salsa & queso and fajitas and chimichangas. We came from out of town to this restaurant and were not impressed at all. We asked if we could sit in an area where there were no dead animals on the wall because my mom feels uncomfortable around them. I realize that's a preference not everyone has but most restaurants are understanding. The hostess was very rude and after finding a table for us we waited for 10 to 15 minutes before leaving because no one even introduced themselves as our waiter/waitress much less gave offered us drinks or gave us chips. We finally just left. It wasn't even packed, there really was no reason for ignoring us besides laziness or intolerance for our preference. read more

The waiter recommended a peach Margarita. After drinking half of it, I could detect no alcohol. I complained to the waiter, and he went to talk to the manager. He came back and said it was weaker than a regular margarita, that the peach mixture had been combined with the margarita mix, and it was not as strong as a regular margarita. $7.00 was a steep price to pay for a peach slushy. Food was ok. I got the fajita chicken salad for lunch and asked for no olives, no sour cream and no cheese. It comes in a taco she'll which I always leave behind. I know that takes part of it away but I try to eat on the healthier side. Chicken was good that was in the salad. But I get towards the bottom of the salad and there was queso on the bottom of the shell that was covering all the lettuce and anything else that was towards the bottom. Our server was a bit knew and didn't know there was queso on it but needless to say if he did indeed put NO CHEESE..you'd assume the kitchen wouldn't put ANY kind of cheese on there. They did offer me another one but I wouldn't of been able to eat it...was a pretty huge salad. Overall make sure all your staff knows the menu or has the description. ..cause no, there is no description on the menu so I had to ask. Guess if I wanted to I should of complain and got it for free ha cause that pissed me off quite a bit. But oh well. Never eating there again because they put cheese on literally everything! Posado's vies with Abuelo's for my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant around! I have always had great service, great food, and great experiences there! It is an especially good place for a group to go and sit together as in my experience there is little wait time. We had a party of 4 go in on Saturday at 12:30. I was not greeted by a host I had to go approach and ask for a table. It was a 20 minute wait, that's acceptable it is lunch rush hour. We were seated, did not get chips/salsa until after our waiter brought our drinks. We ordered our food and then 45 minutes later after watching everyone getting ready to leave that arrived way after us our waiter realized we didn't have our food. Apparently our ticket was "lost", not sure how this happens. Then my mom watched as another waiter took food to their table and it wasn't that tables food...no it was ours. Our food was placed on someones table and then it was brought over to our table.Waiter kept apologizing and said the manager was comping our ticket since they didn't even have one to give us. Never once did the manager come apologize or speak. The restrooms were filthy, no toilet paper and water all on the floor. DO NOT waist your time at this restaurant! read more

Service was how do you say "non existent" different one. Food ok. This wasn't even the rush hour.

The waitress demanded to swipe our TX Driver's Licenses through their machine before serving us an alcoholic beverage! We called over the Manager and explained to him that this was illegal, as it was an invasion of privacy and puts our identity in jeopardy, as it contains our fingerprints and SS numbers, but he insisted that it was Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) law that he do this. We looked up the TABC regs, and they don't even have to SEE a DL, much less swipe it through their register! This is an abuse of authority at best, and we possibly averted identity theft at worst! BTW, we are both 64 years of age and look our age, so there was no doubt that we are not underage drinkers! I can't comment on the quality of the food or service, as we walked out and will NEVER be back, and we suggest that others do the same, if the management keeps up these invasive practices! read more

Took my mom, son, grandmother and two aunts for our annual Mother's day lunch. We chose Lindale because it was central to everyone's location. I called Saturday and asked the man on the phone if they were taking reservations for Mother's day. He said "yes" and I gave him our reservation for 6 on Sunday at 1pm. He confirmed that he had our reservation. When we arrived to an overly crowded establishment and gave our name, the hostess said she didn't have our reservation. When I indicated that I had called and spoken with a man a day or two prior (I wasn't exactly sure what day I had called), the male host was very abrupt and said "it wasn't me". He did this more than once in our discussion and I found this quite rude, as I had not gotten the name, nor implied that it was him that I had spoken with. The girl then said she would make our seating priority and said we would be next, but it was still a 20 minute wait (I watched her write our name down). Due to my grandmothers' health condition, I asked for a seat and she was kind enough to bring her a chair from the dining area - (they get one star for this). After waiting 25 minutes and watching the male host seat two other large crowds before us, I went back to the hostess and asked how much longer our wait would be. The hostess had marked through our name, moved us down behind 5 other groups of 6 and told us their manager said they were not accepting reservations for Mothers' day. After speaking to the manager, he also stated they had been instructed not to accept reservations for Mother's day. However, after a very lengthy discussion, he agreed to seat us quickly. He did make good on this and we were seating within 5 minutes. He even went so far as to follow up once we got our food and make sure we were okay. I am giving one star for this and one star because the food was good and the rest of our experience went well. I have never visited this location, however we have frequented the one in Tyler and like it. I will probably go back if I'm in Lindale for lunch or dinner but I will most likely not be using them again when out with a large crowd or for special occasions. read more

Stopped for lunch on our drive from DFW to ATL and was pleasantly surprised! Freshly made tortillas being made where we could watch. The food was great and our server Leah, was attentive and helpful. Will definitely stop here on our next trip out to TX. read more

The food was standard tex mex in a restaurant chain. They did overcharge us based on the menu they have posted on their website. I told the waiter about the fact that the menu item was a different price in the menu than what it said on their website Lindale menu but he didn't seem too concerned. I suggested that he tell his manager. Nothing more about it was said to us. My husband equated the food to Taco Bell (which he likes so it was not a bad thing). He felt that it was extremely overpriced for Taco Bell food. The waiter provided us with great service. However, the hostess didn't seem to thrilled to be working that day. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Overall, we will not return as we can get standard tex mex at much lower prices at a lot of other places. read more

This place doesn't even deserve the 1-star that I have to give it. We didn't get to eat there. We walked in to this restaurant that was full of empty tables at 4:30 in the afternoon. I stood at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes as the hostess was busy on the phone (not with a customer) and talking to a server...guess I wasn't important enough to for her to do her job. When I was finally asked how many was in my party (there was 7 of us), she took my name and started complaining to a server and other hostess about the size of my party. She sat 4 parties of 2 AFTER my name was put on wait. After sitting and watching other people get sat before us, we asked for the manager. The manager came and said "she told me your problem...I can seat you now." My husband explained to him that not only were we not staying (because we'd seen enough about the service in this place) that they were losing business because we weren't the only table that had left. As we left, we over heard the hostess say that we were rude (um, gee...I wonder why we weren't happy). We drove across the street to chiles. We were sat immediately, and the service was exceptional.
