Came after my 2003 Isuzu Axiom would not accelerate past 20 miles per hour. I'm VERY SKEPTICAL about mechanics, haven't had many positive experiences in the past. But I would DEFINATELY recommend this place to anyone having issues with their Transmission. My experience was positive and the car is running smooth. I've taken my car there three times and told nothing was wrong, no charge (where else are you going to get that???). One (rare) time I took my car there and they put the left-sensor on, when the right sensor was the malfunctioning one - again, fixed no charge. Yes, a mechanic is going to be expensive, but taking your vehicle to someone disreputable is going to be even more expensive. Bert's has been family owned for 60+ years, and there's a reason - he takes care of his customers, AND their vehicles.

I called Citywide and they said to bring it down whenever I could. They inspected the car and told me the issue was a corroded shift cable. After less than hour and a bill that was a fraction of what I expected to pay, I had my car back and it shifted like new. The service was fast, thorough, and affordable.
