I hate to leave a one star review, but I am hoping this will help others use caution before proceeding with this salon. This was my first and only experience at Posh Nails, and had I known what an experience it would be, I wouldn't have stopped in. So, I went in to have length added to my natural nails, as I'm a biter, and a dip manicure. I should have known to leave when I walked in and the salon was entirely empty of other customers. The process took over TWO hours. I asked for a short length and a neutral color, nothing fancy. The tech doing my nails routinely stopped to ask another tech if what she was doing was correct. I am all for giving people who are learning a chance to get better at something, but it would have been nice to know going in that she was less than experienced and that it would take double the time it usually does. In addition, I had two spots on my cuticles that were healing from being picked at, yet the tech ran the drill right over them & caused them to bleed. By the end of the appointment, my nails were crooked, the dip was uneven, and after I left, I had to file them into the shape I wanted, since the tech didn't bother to do so. I was flabbergasted, but planned to chalk the experience up as a one time thing at a random salon I stopped in at after work. Then, today, two days after I had my nails done, I had not one but two nails completely break off. I will not be using Posh Nails again or recommending their services. read more

I just recently visited this salon a couple of days ago. I had Tanye as my manicurist, and she did a wonderful job! I'm very happy with my dip manicure. The salon was very clean, and all instruments were unpacked from sanitizing wrapping. I definitely recommend giving this new ownership a try! The ladies are very welcoming, and it's a great location with convenient parking in front, which in Town Square can be a pain. Unfortunately, I'm not fluent in Spanish, but my Google Translate app came in handy for Tanye and me to communicate and get my nails exactly how I wanted. And I LOVE them! read more

Just moved from Southern California and this place was highly recommended by a friend whom moved here as well earlier in the year. My daughter in law also comes here on a regular basis. I was highly pleased with the services provided (pedi and back massage). The Specialist (whose name I already forgot) really took her time and patiently tended to my requests. Most places I've been to just don't do that because they believe in quantity vs quality. The treatment was spectacular treated and I was treated with respect. As nail salons go, this one is just average. I was looking for a place close to where my daughter's class was so I could make use of the "found time" and get a much needed fill done. I was immediately put off by how I was basically ignored when I walked in. There were 3 customers being worked on when I arrived. There was one man- who I took to be a nail tech, as well- sitting next to one of the customers in the middle of a convo about Vietnamese food. TOTALLY fine! I don't need him to drop everything and rush to my side but he could have at least acknowledged me. Instead he continued the talk of how Vietnamese food doesn't use or need soy sauce for about 5 more minutes before turning back to me to say that "someone" would be with me. If I wasn't in such a rush and if my nails didn't look SO hideous, I would have left but I was a willing hostage to my vanity and so I stayed. After a total of 10 minutes, another tech finished with her client and came over to me. She didn't talk other than to ask what color I wanted. And I hate to sound like a jerk but I was really ok with that. I was happy to sit in peace and catch up on facebook and wonder silently to myself if I KNEW Vietnamese food didn't have or need soy sauce...? It's been 8 days since that fill and honestly the workmanship isn't that great. The edges are lifting a bit already. I've been getting pink and white nails forever and this is the first time the "pink" part is actually quite cloudy looking- which I suppose is more of a subjective dislike on my part. The place was clean so that's a plus but I don't personally plan on ever coming back again. There are too many options out there to need to frequent a place I wasn't happy with. First time visit - First of all, the customer service was extremely poor...I walked in and the "hello" was as if they had just seen death. Eh! I picked two gel colors of which she had none, so I had to pick another color. For the first 3-4 minutes of her sitting in front of me, she had the phone to her ear talking about a utility payment. The whole time I'm thinking really? This is so unprofessional, she has my hands extended into a bowl to soak them and she's just sitting in front of me on her phone. To remove my previous gel color, she used her own finger nails. that's right, no tools. What? She didn't say a word to me throughout the entire manicure/gel application, although I joked about something, she smiled and nothing, she spoke english just fine I heard a lot of it for the first 3-4 minutes of me sitting in the chair. Before I left I noticed the poor job she had done, but I hate confronting them so I just don't tip. There's a reason why I don't do fake nails anymore, it's been at least 6 years since I don't do fake nails - Well, she filed my nails so much that not even the 3 coats (I had to ask for the 3rd) make it feel strong. Specially my pinkies. There were a few nails with dots/bubbles. Needless to say, it was a first and LAST for me. Not even a week later my nails are chipping on the sides, she left extra polish on my skin that caused it lift from skin and nail after a just couple of days. Want good service? Don't think that because it's in Southlake you'll get it here. Move on! read more

With the new managing taking over and new staff members, the place is more lively, the staff is energetic and the overall energy that I was met with when I walked in was extremely welcoming. They were all so very kind and their service on my nails were fantastic. I wish I could say more but I would be repeating myself, ha. I had the worst experience here. I had never been to this nail salon before and I will not be returning. I was in the area and decided to pull up the nearest nail salon to me. Posh came up it was around 5:30 PM I just wanted my gel polished changed on my toes. When my sister and I walked in the shop there was all stares I'm guessing because of our color. They asked how they could help I informed them that I just wanted the gel polish changed on my toes. They then asked me to come back in 30 mins which would have been closing time considering it was Sunday. I asked what time the shop closed she said well just come back in 20 mins. I don't know what it was but they declined my money and put a bad taste in my mouth. I then went right down the street to "Park Village Nails" and was treated very good. I went a number of years ago and wasn't totally in love, but felt like I should give it another shot and was not disappointed! Not only was the interior was very clean, and the staff was friendly, but the quality of the service was money well spent. I got a manicure done with normal polish a few days ago and where as with other places, I would normally have it 75% chipped off by now, but this manicure is still nearly perfect! I really wanted to like this place...I truly enjoyed my experience at the salon but the quality was simply not up to par. The nail technicians were very friendly however very talkative, so much that it seemed like they were hardly focused on my nails. When I left the salon I noticed rough patches and unevenness on my dip set, but i liked the color and just brushed off the imperfections. It was not even 2 days after my manicure until my nails started lifting and hair was getting caught underneath...normally I can make a set last 3-4 weeks so I was quite disappointed that my manicure could hardly last a fraction of the time. The lifting was becoming so painful by the end of the week so I decided to go get my nails redone by professionals. I am glad I didn't wait any longer considering the infection that was brewing underneath. Once my nails soaked off my index fingernail has been stained green by what my nail technician says is an infection (pseudomonas) caused by improper nail prep and/or dirty nail tools. I am very dissatisfied and regret stepping foot into the salon. Definitely not worth the price. Needless to say, I will not be returning nor will I be recommending this salon to anyone. read more

this place is absolutely terrible. i got here at 10am and didn't leave until 1:30. i got french tip which is the most simple nail and i kept getting cut and then she put alcohol on it which just made it sting. she made the nails way to thick and when i asked her to make them thinner it barely got thinner. it's almost like her drill wasn't working because she drilled each mail for 5 minutes and nothing happened. i am super dissatisfied with how my nails turned out and i will never return ever and i hope no one goes here. there is absolutely no reason it should've taken 3 hours. even while we were in here for THREE AND A HALF HOURS no one else came it. it was definitely a sign. read more

Poor customer service. I had never been here before but always wanted to try it. I heard it was good. I don't know what the quality of their work is, so I'm basing my rating purely on my interaction with them. I walked in on a slow Thursday morning around 11. About 3 techs were working. One asked me what I needed. I said just a pedicure. She said, pick a color and it will be 10 minutes. I looked skeptical and repeated, 10 minutes? She nodded, yeah. Okay, so I sat, set my phone alarm for 10 minutes and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, my alarm rang. I looked around, and it appeared that no tech was finishing up on their current customers. I love how they always say '10 minutes' no matter where you go. It's such a joke. So, I silenced my alarm, got up, put my color back, put the spa menu on the front counter, and walked right out. No one stopped me, no one said anything. I did notice a few heads turn, techs and customers included, but no tech tried to lure me back. Really? This is how you run a business? Well, it's their loss. With so many nail salons to choose from, I will never come back here. You'd think BECAUSE there is so much competition out there that they'd try harder. But they didn't. read more

I was very disappointed the last time I went in to get my nails done. I waited a very long time and they weren't busy, they just didn't have enough techs. I paid $85 for a gel manicure and pedicure. The nails lasted 7 days and the pedicure lasted 9 days. For as much money as I spent, this is disappointing. The salon is very clean and well kept. The staff is friendly. I just have been other places with better service for much, much cheaper. I don't see myself going back. read more

Realized I was in need of a manicure on a Saturday night at 6:30pm so drove by this place after shopping the Square..so glad I did! This place was quick and did a fantastic job on my French gel nail manicure. I used to go to a nail salon that literally took 1.5 hour for gel and Gwen did it in 30 minutes. Was in need of a fill for my acrylics stopped here since it was close. Service was good however the quality was not there. My nails are lumpy and uneven. They couldn't shape them the way I wanted. My first time here. My appointment was for noon and we stood outside with the technicians waiting for someone to arrive and open the doors. When we went inside it smelled like sewage. Should have followed my instincts and left at that point but didn't. 25 minutes after my appointment time they gave me a tub of lukewarm water and a menu to upsell their services. The right thing to do would have been to offer a free upgrade to compensate for the wait. Cuticle removal was rushed and marginal at best. Polish job ok. I definitely would not recommend. read more

I was able to walk in for a manicure during lunch on a work day but I was very disappointed. I wasn't offered a beverage. The technician barely spoke to me. She only spoke to her coworkers and guests coming in. The neck massage was nice but the nail polish is so poorly done it is embarrassing. They charged me $38 for this. read more

I am so disappointed in this salon. I go there every 2 weeks to get my eyebrows done and they ALWAYS do amazing, except for today. I went in and got my brows waxed and i got a new lady that i have never seem before. She was absolutely horrible and did not do the job correctly at all. She didn't blow on the wax and put it on my eyes straight out of the bowl. She didn't even fully wax my brows and left tons of wax on my face. she did not arch my left brow and it looks straight across. My left brow is SO MUCH THICKER than my right one and it just looks absolutely horrible. She got wax in my eyebrows and it took her an extra 10 minutes to get it out of my eyebrow, not even fully and it pulled out hair from the middle of my eyebrow and i am soooooo upset. I will never go to that girl again, such a waste of $10 and now i have to fix them myself. read more

Not impressed with this place. I have gone here about 3 times, since my previous nail place closed. They always try to upsell. The pedis are ok, but the last mani I had was the worst, just had it yesterday and I already need to redo it. Had one tech working on the feet and one on the hands. The one on the hands went so quick and did a very, very lousy job. I pointed out several things I wanted done better, but she did not do much correction. I am very disappointed and will be looking for a new place. I would not recommend this place for a manicure at all. They do not pay attention to detail and you do not get a good nail job that will last. read more

Knock me over with a feather, I not only got the best service ever, but Lisa did it with such ease and care that I was speechless. Cindy is the office manager and greets you like family. I had high expectations being in Southlake but I get way better service & results in Denton. Only 1 of the 4 ladies that were there could do NexGen...which they did not understand....
