Bridal nails - French tip with white decal on the ring finger

I came in as a walk-in with my mom, looking to get a manicure ahead of my wedding. The service was quick and receptive to feedback. The staff are very hospitable and offered with me and my mother bottle of water. Both sets of nails came out beautiful. We are very happy with the service.

He did a terrible job at cleaning my cuticles and skin around my nails, mind you this was a $25 service!

This place is terrible... I got a mani pedi and it was a disaster, the man who did my nails couldn't wait to finish so he could get back on his phone the girl who did my pedicure was actually not bad but she just couldn't grasp the idea of cutting my nails shorter than what she had already cut them....i know nail salons keep your toes just a little longer than usual so they can get you back into the salon sooner.... i wouldn't come here ever again, the manicure I got was so messy and rushed, like I said this man couldn't wait to get back on his phone (I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't licensed)...the prices here are also outrageous for the service you receive....$65 for acrylics is ridiculous when you can go to glendale and them for $30....coming here was my mistake but you don't need to make that same mistake....places like this exist to scam you. Do better! I also feel like people know this place is bad cause I was there for 2 hours and not one costumer walked in....just don't waste your money here they are the wors

I called before I came, they accept walk ins. This is my first time. The staff was really friendly. But the service.. was not the best. They charged me 100$ for a pedicure. I got gel. But they didn't massage or use anything special. Yes I do have acrylic on my big toes. They refused to remove them and put new ones. Understandable they gave me a fill. Idk how that came up to 100$ I didn't argue I just paid and left. By the time I got home I saw the paint wasn't painted all the way and already chipped! Same day mind you.. I called and left a voicemail. They were closed Sunday so I came in Monday. She was willing to fix for free. (As expected) and again they weren't painted all the way I had to tell her over again. Overall my feet don't feel soft as they should they didn't provide a massage either my toe nails are crooked. If you want a friendly place to go then yes. But quality is not good.

This place is so clean and nice. They do such a great job! For natural nails they have thicker based coats that help with growth. I haven't had my nails break once since I started coming here, no chipping either. Definitely my new favorite place!! Also great for eyebrow waxing.

This is my spot. I absoutely love doing my nails here. I followed my nail tech from another salon, and since then the owner Tina and Vy have taken over doing my nails. I absolutely love it. They are so kind and cute, and always willing to try my crazy ideas. I won't let anyone else do my nails. I do bio gel. So it's different from acrylic and gel X.

I loved my experience at Candy nails. I had a doctor's appointment nearby and went in on a whim. Bright, clean, and well ventilated. Huge color selection! Tammy and Emily, who did my gel manicure and pedicure, were so great. I love when people are diligent about cleaning up/trimming the cuticles and they were really sweet to talk to as well. Nice clean salon. Very friendly. Walk-ins welcomed. I had a gel manicure and pedicure. Reasonable prices. I noticed a sign on the door for 10% off of first time service as I was walking out and was in bit disappointed they didn't offer which is why I gave 3 stars. read more

This place is terrible... I am so happy I found Candy Nails! Not only is the salon beautiful and clean, the staff is so friendly, funny and accommodating. Tina did an absolutely beautiful job on my nails. I'm always trying to do something new with my nails and Tina can do it all. I recently did hard gel for the first time - LOVED IT! I've brought my 3 young daughters and niece in for manicures and she has made them feel so special while making their nails look fabulous. I also love a massage chair while getting a beautiful pedicure. Super clean, hygienic and friendly. Never going anywhere else! read more

My gel set is chipping within the first week, I paid 120 for and the quality of service I received was not satisfactory. My pedicure is still in good condition but my manicure is chipped unfortunately. The staff is friendly and the salon is cute and clean but the amount I paid for the quality turns me away from coming back. read more

I have been going here since they opened and all the people have been super friendly. They just changed ownership and it is a nice clean salon, usually not too busy. I only go for pedicures and they have always been great. Last time I went for a manicure also but the lady cut my cuticles too much so no more manicures for me . I wish they would switch the program on the TV once in a while as the silly hidden camera programs get boring. read more

Please be careful when choosing this establishment for dip. My nails looks terrible and I paid $90 for uneven, bubbling nails. The tech kept sitting the uv light on top of my wet nails and just added clear coats over this mess. I was expected to pay full price for this or come back later. Unfortunately the event I was attending was in 3 hours. Im so sorry I chose candy nails. My real nails are ruined. read more

The shop is pristine clean, and the staff is friendly enough, but you are only good as your worst employee. My nails were cut so low they bled, and I was nicked with the nail file that it broke the skin and stung. Then half a nail had no polish. I couldn't wear shoes or slippers without cringing for 2 days. Just loose the incompetent worker and the shop will thrive. read more

Went here for a gel x mani and regular pedi. Super cute and clean spot and it's women-owned by a nail tech! . The owner, Tina, gave me a perfect manicure and the whole experience was very relaxing. Oh and they have a parking lot and there's tons of street parking too! Love it. read more

They were super sweet and talkative and made sure I knew how to take care of my nails since it was my first time getting them gone with gel. The look of the interior is very cute. They have amazing service from the nail techs, to the receptionist. I got a luxury manipedi for $108 which is a steal since my old nail salon that I used to go to charged $140. The salon is not yet complete, but I know it'll look great after the remodeling! read more

Having researched the effects of traditional nail polishes and gel/UV, I have opted to refrain from…read moregetting manicures/pedicures for many years. However, after over a decade of avoiding them, I decided to look for a safer option. I chose The Basic Nail Shoppe because they specialize in manicures, pedicures, gel, and Gel-X using less-toxic products, cruelty free, and made in the USA or Japan. They boast on their website that their products do not contain harmful toxins such as dibutyl phthalate, toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, or camphor. They offer 2 types of less-toxic nail polishes: Zoya and Dazzle Dry. They also carry OPI. A quick google search had me choosing Dazzle Dry. I made an appointment using their easy to use online system and received email and phone calls to confirm the appointment. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a friendly smile and I was offered a complimentary water bottle after being seated. I had the Signature Pedicure ($65) which included the pedicure (nail trim & shaping, cuticle care, and a buff/polich, 10 minute massage, hot towel, scrub, and mask/lotion. You have a choice of scents for your pedicure (milk & honey, green tea, or lavender). They use a boxed system, so the scent is applied to the soak, scrub, mask, and lotion. The entire experience took an hour. The massage chairs weren't super comfortable. They were ok, but the action was a little rough even on the low settings. The music in the salon was piano covers of pop songs. Overall the facility was very clean and modern. Sylvia was very pleasant and did a great job. She was very gentle. Tips are given directly to the employees via Zelle or Venmo.

This was my second time at this nail shop. The first time, I walked in hoping to get a gel…read moremanicure. The lady who noticed me asked me to pick a color. Her tone was kind of rough and rude. I find their gel color selection to be limited. There were only two sheets of colors. Maybe the other color samples were given to other customers or somewhere else???? I even asked her if there were more colors to choose from and she pointed to the same two samples she had. I was told to pick a color and wait. After waiting for 15 minutes I left. There are three other nail shops in this Sierra Madre Foothills shopping area. This nail shop is relatively new so I decided to give it a try. But there are plenty of options within a 1/2 mile radius and other shops have more color selection. I was in the area again three weeks later, and decided to given them another try. I walked in and a different lady greeted me and informed me there is only a short wait and asked me to pick a color. I was there to remove my gel manicure and I wanted to do a regular manicure to give my nails a break from all the chemicals from gel. After I picked a color, she told me to sit next to her and wait. I waited for about 5 minutes and she asked me to move to a different station. I didn't know why she didn't have me sit there in the first place. Regardless, I moved. If the moving around and waiting were the only issues, that would have been fine with me. The lady started cutting my nails. She was cutting so close to the skin underneath my nail, I started pulling my finger away. She yelled at me for doing that. I asked her not to cut too short. She said she's trying to make all the nails even. I had a really short one that broke off. I said it's ok to not make them even and if you are going to cut them so short and so close to the flesh underneath the nail, you need to push down the flesh, so I don't feel like you are going to cut my skin. I even gave her a suggestion on how to mitigate the situation.. I was coaching her on how to cut nails close to the skin so the client wouldn't feel like their flesh is gonna get cut. She didn't listen. I pulled away again, afraid. She yelled at me again. She said if I pull away, she can't do her job and she may end up hurting me. I said you are already hurting me and you are doing it over and over. After all the back and forth, I paid for the gel manicure removal and left. I didn't want her to file or do the coloring anymore. I didn't trust her. I never had any manicurist yelled at me or argued with me like this. I was not expecting of being fearful of getting cut and getting yelled at multiple times. The interior was spacious and new. But the service was unprofessional and the work unskilled to say the least.

The appearance everything. And randomly walking in and getting paired with "yuki" she was amazing. A friendly host, we chatted a bit, but honestly her vibe was so peaceful you didn't even want to ruin the moment, her silence was peaceful enough. I sat in the middle row so I had views of outside just taking in the city and the scenery, amazing vibes. I would highly recommend trying this place out. Book with "yuki" if you can , to be quite frank everyone in there salon looks they do amazing work. Like any nail technician you get paired with with get the job done. Give it a 5 star .
