Cute little shop in downtown Tarrytown. Walked by on Friday night and marked it in my brain: want to stop here on my walk back. It was closed. No worries- the next day we were there again for the Halloween parade and I made it a point to go in and get a pretzel or two... Milk chocolate and caramel- similar to a Twix. Wished it oozed more caramel in my bites but maybe that's a 'how it can be made' thing? Toffee- rolled in little bits of toffee and had a chocolate drizzle on top. It was good. I love the idea of this place. Simple and effective but charging at least $3 for this small item is a little silly. They did not knock my socks off. read more

I heard about this place on the news about how their product was provided to celebrities for their awards show. I never had chocolate covered pretzels so I went with dark chocolate covered ones. I had two options I could a la carte it by getting however many I wanted for $28/pound or get a prepackaged amount for an unmarked price. I went with the prepackaged product which was $17.34. The prices are on par for bakeries. The pretzels were very dry and I got thirsty really quickly. It tasted okay. The service was your standard indifferent, apathetic staff. They did not greet me and made it no secret they did not care if I was there or not. There is no free parking. It is meter parking only on a busy street. read more

On that note, it's not story time but time to give an insight into the youth of Linguini B. From a young age, I've had a love for chocolate pretzels. Specifically M&M covered. I've likely tried a hundred... if you don't believe me then be like a squirrel and weave yourself into oncoming traffic. Immediate remorse but I continue. Of all the Choco pretz I've had, I am delighted to name Posh Pretzels the Numero Uno on the list. They are really quite that lovely. The texture of the pretzel alone sets these apart, and then you have to account for the phenomenal creations. Nutella stuffed, cookie dough stuffed, your regulars, cotton candy, so on and so on. If I were to recommend I'd say go for a classic so you can really understand just how good the basic layer of this pop culture icon is. And then get yourself on that Nutella stuffed and that cookie dough stuffed. You will be exceedingly content, probably joyous, and possibly aroused. I'm just preparing you... it all depends on how much you love candied pretzels. Lord have mercy on your souls. I was out of the pretzel game for good, and yet these brought me back in. I don't have love for the game as much as I once did, but I will now always make an exception for these Poshies. The holidays are amongst us. Some lovely packaging on these boxes. But the pretzels looked and smelled amazing They were masterpieces of olfaction and were like edible art. The packaging and presentation was so classy. I asked a patron how much they liked them and they kissed their pinched fingers and then opened them up as they reached for the sky, "as good as they look they taste even better." I am updating my review from a year ago to say that I was much happier with my experience this time! The inside was much nicer and didn't have boxes all over the place. They seemed much more 'moved in'. The girl working was really nice and answered some of our questions. We ended up getting a stuffed peanut butter pretzel (peanut butter is my soulmate) and a stuffed biscoff pretzel (why don't you just biscoff). Oh my goodness were both of these delicious!! My biggest issue is that they were $6 each! That seems a bit much in my opinion. I'd definitely come back to have another but it's a very occasional treat! read more

Pretty cool little boutique dessert shop. Blink and you'll miss it on Broadway, the store is fairly bright with the merchandise (namely chocolate covered pretzels) front and center. Plenty of pre-made gift options for the holidays. Pretzels are pricey in my book but there's a huge variety of flavors, everything is fresh and service was super friendly. Not bad given that this place is apparently reasonably famous (ie: got put into gift baskets at the Oscars this year). I was skeptical these were worth the $$$, however they are pretty freaking good. I got the cookies and cream and it was very rich even though it didn't outright have Oreo pieces on it. I felt it was more about the coating than the pretzel but the coating was really good. Similar results for my first ice's peanut butter cup pretzel, although that one was covered in peanut butter chips which worked great. With not a ton of legit dessert options in town (ie: an Italian bakery) this place fills a definite niche. read more

I came here after my run in the area. Of course while I was making my morning protein smoothie, I saw Posh Pretzels featured on Restaurant Hunter. When it was mentioned that they are located in Tarrytown where I was headed, I knew I had to stop by to try them out. Their pretzel making process and the flavours looked so enticing. My entire run I was thinking about those pretzels and after I got back to my car and saw on the GPS they were only 3 minutes from my location, I rushed to go grab a few pretzels and stop by the closest coffee shop for a beverage. The store is very small but cute. Their glass counters were filled with pretzels of all flavours including Chocolate, S'mores, Rocky Road, Red Velvet, Apple Caramel Cinnamon, an many others. They also have a few non-pretzel items but I was here on a mission and stuck to my guns. The pretzels are sold $24/pound. I bought a small box which holds 6+ as well as a small bag which holds 4. So far we have tried the Milk Chocolate Caramel, Red Velvet and Rocky Road. They all taste really good and are super decadent and rich. I would probably enjoy them most with a strong coffee that's light on the sugar. I would probably get them in the future for treats for friends and family when visiting. read more

They are great! It was our first time in Tarrytown when we walked upon this little pretzels shop. It looked delicious from the window so we walked in. When we inquired about the pretzels themselves the woman at the counter (who I assume is the owner) told us these pretzels are different and I have to say I completely agree! They are not too crunchy but not too soft they're honestly pretzels that are cooked to perfection. Have lunch, get some pretzels, stroll around the charming blocks to Patriots Park (good farmers market) and then down to the beautiful new waterfront. Your calves will have a great workout on the hills while your tummy enjoys the pretzels.
