I will NEVER return to Posh! The staff was rude. They spoke only to each other . (in English), acting as if I were not there. My manicure was the worst that I have ever had. A hot towel was thrown on my hands & the manicurist walked away. The hand massage consisted of rubbing a little lotion on the top of my hands. The drying table had only a cheap little fan to dry the polish, the other drying mechanism had been removed. No one acknowledged me or said good bye when I left, although they saw me leave. The worst part was that an hour after the manicure, the polish on 2 fingers peeled , not chipped, off! This is the sigh of a shotty job! read more

I've been going to a salon quite a distance away and wanted to find one closer to where I live in Lansdowne. I am very particular about the cleanliness of a nail salon and took my time doing research before I made a decision. I was impressed with all the great reviews about Posh and decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did!! It is extremely clean and everyone is very nice. Before I was seated I saw Tina (the nail technician) cleaning out the foot bath -- not just a fast rinse, but an actual cleaning. After I was seated, Tina actually asked me if I had any preferences about my pedi. I was use to the technician doing what they wanted, but she actually took the time to suggest what she would do and make sure I was okay with it. I was extremely impressed! My pedicure was one of the best I have ever had and I am definitely going back. I love that after so many visits I will get a free pedi. What a great perk. I was extremely disappointed today, shocked at the poor customer service -- and I didn't even get any service done! I called this morning at 10:45 to see when the best time for me to come in would be. Several reviewers recommended getting an appointment so I tried. No one answered the phone! So I decided to head over there. I walk in 45 minutes later with my daughter (who was not getting any service; she was just with me). I said that I would like a pedicure. The young girl at the desk asked if I had an appointment and I said no. Before I could continue to let her know that I tried calling, a voice from someone servicing a client called out to say, "Do you have an appointment?" I turned to my left to try to find who just asked and I answered, "No" again. She then said, "We're fully booked til 2:30", and now I could see who was speaking to me. I turned to the young girl at the desk and said that I tried calling but there was no answer. The young girl did not respond at all, just looked at me. Maybe she didn't know what to say, but the person on the floor didn't respond either. NOT one response. I said again that I did try calling and there was no answer so I couldn't get an appointment. Still no response. No one asked what time I tried calling and no one apologized that there was no answer. No one apologized that they were fully booked and no one asked if 2:30pm would work or offer an appointment at all. No one seemed regretful that they lost my business because of an unanswered call. No one asked if it was just I or both my daughter and I who wanted to get our nails done. I said, oh, that's too bad... and walked out. I completely understand that you can be fully booked but when you don't answer the phone and then curtly tell someone that you're booked, to me, that is poor customer service. And when no one gives any sort of response to an attempt to call, that is even worse. This would've been my second time at Posh. I went last year to treat myself based on recommendations (I did not have an appointment last year either and they happen to be fine that day). I am not a "regular" because pedicures are a treat for me. Perhaps they don't see me regularly so I am a dispensible customer. If I were a first time customer (and I'm guessing no one knew who I was today and I am essentially a new customer) with this experience today, I would never go back. I have read many reviews about their excellent service, but today was a total failure of good business communication, and even moreso, a failure of normal human interaction and courtesy. I place much more emphasis on good communication because sometimes you're just fully booked and can't do anything about that, but keeping good communication makes it better. A disappointing situation (not having an opening) turned into a awful experience because no one said a word. read more

I'm so excited I found such a great nail salon so close to home. The salon is clean and everyone is super nice and welcoming. My gel manicures last 2+ weeks! I really enjoy coming here & the weekly specials make it that much better. So far I've never had to wait too long for service as a walk-in, compared to some of the other natural nail salons where I've had to wait 90+ minutes. I honestly have no idea how I didn't find Posh until now! My girlfriend and I made appointments for 6:00pm for the Posh Pedicure and Spa Manicure. The two ladies who worked with us were so friendly and we felt like we made two new friends by the end of the night. The salon is BYOB (try finding another salon that lets you bring in a bottle of wine while you get pampered)! I was very pleased with the color I chose and my friend loved hers too! We were at the salon until just before 8:00pm which I feel guilty about now seeing that they close at 6:30pm which is also why my rating is so high. The ladies stayed at the salon for us and didn't even say anything when I made our appointments for 6:00 knowing it would take them much longer than half an hour. I haven't been this pleased with a salon in a VERY long time! This place is a gem! Small store and comfortable atmosphere. Doesn't feel like a factory salon. I usually head over to one of the many nail salons in downtown Ardmore, but Posh had such great Yelp reviews that I decided to give it a try. First time was last December, most recent time was today. The salon is clean and relaxing, the massaging chairs were nice, as was the general ambiance of the place. Was not rushed out, easy to get to and the area has some nice restaurants and a barber shop that I will try out. The prices were better then others Ive seen here in the mainline and surrounding area. Found this place by using a recently purchased Groupon. They did an amazing job and I'll be sure to go back. This will be my go-to place for feeling pampered and getting a great mani-pedi and a reasonable price. They only work on natural nails so there is no gross chemical smell (from working on/with acrylics). It was a very soothing and peaceful environment with no TV distraction. The two people working there were super nice and friendly. I got a free mani at Posh on the salon's grand opening day. It was nice that the salon offered free manis on it's grand opening, as well as a lovely spread of treats (cupcakes, lemonade, etc). However, the mani was just so-so. The water in the bowls to soak one's fingertips was cold, not warm. The manicurist cut some of my nails unevenly (slightly diagonally, rather than a straight, square tip). And the polish started to chip by the next day, unlike most professional manis that I've gotten that last a week. The staff was friendly, the salon pretty, and the location convenient.
