    Octopus appetizer. Good.

The service was very good. Nice atmosphere, warm, not over air conditioned. But unfortunately it is very expensive for the quality and quantity. The pasta plates are like a half plate. The risotto was not hot. I asked to have it heated. They insisted to remake it. So I didn't eat at the same time than my friends. And it was still not hot enough the second time. And not even that good; not really a mushroom risotto. More a risotto with a few mushrooms on top of it. Not worth it.

We had dinner here on Friday night and enjoyed both the food and the amazing service! Restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived around 7PM but was full when we left. We ordered a 1/2 litre of red wine (Chianti, decent value at $26) and split the caprese salad to start. It arrived on two plates which is always a nice touch! For mains we shared one of the specials, steak with balsamic reduction and arugula salad, and a pasta dish with chicken and butternut squash. Steak was great and pasta was good although somewhat average. For dessert, we shared the lemon tiramisu. More like a lemon sponge cake than a tiramisu, it was delicious and a good-sized portion. Overall felt like decent value, I believe our total bill was about $110. Based on food alone I'd give the restaurant a 3 star rating, but the service really bumped it up a notch. All the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and polite, and genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves. There were a few tables of what seemed to be regular customers, and lots of smiles and laughs from the staff throughout the restaurant - it really made for a great dining atmosphere, felt cheerful and relaxed. I'm looking forward to going back again (and maybe becoming one of those regulars)!

This was my first time going to Positano, it was a Sunday evening so the restaurant was not that busy. We were seated quite quickly, I order the Pasta di Sicily with Sausage, the walnut house sauce with penne, and a dessert. The food came out quickly and the service was quite good. The restaurant itself is very clean, a bright atmosphere with friendly staff who actually speak Italian. I will definitely be going back.

SO GOOD. Wow. Went for the first time on Good Friday and have been thinking about it since. First off, atmosphere is fabulous. Quaint, cozy, and no TVs (which is apparently hard to find?). Our servers were excellent- friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and gave us our privacy. We ordered the bruschetta not knowing that we would receive complimentary bread and homemade tomato sauce for dipping. Both were great. The bread and tomato sauce was a novel idea and the bruschetta was also novel- on crispy pizza dough with fresh tomatoes. For fullness' sake we probably did not need the bruschetta after all but enjoyed nonetheless! For mains, we had the agnolotti fiorentina (ricotta and spinach stuffed pasta with tomato basil sauce), farfalle rustico, and the pansotti alle noci (stuffed pasta in walnut cream sauce). I had the pansotti alle noci- and my god, no words to describe how delicious this was! A tad sweet in taste because of the walnuts, but a wonderful nutty creamy sauce and delicious pasta. My fellow diners also enjoyed their meals. The prices were great- I was very surprised the mains were around $15 and I expected lesser quality but obviously did not experience that. I believe the meat mains are more pricey, but still reasonable. We took the lemon tiramisu home for dessert but did not eat it until the next day so it didn't hold up that great. Maybe don't take it home? Meant to be eaten straight away. We also enjoyed the Chianti Vernaiolo '12 ~ Rocca Delle Macie wine and I liked it so much I tracked down where to buy a bottle. Wonderful! Highly recommended for anyone wanting a sense of occasion without being too fanciful. Try the pansotti alle noci!!!

Delicious mean and top notch service. This was a memorable experience.

Great little italian place serving delightful food. We ordered 4 different types of dishes they all were very delicious. Their wine selection is quite classic, definably one of my favorite restaurants.

Excellent Service, Excellent Food Couldn't be more impressed. Greeted at the door by the owner. Seated near the window as I requested. Had a young Italian server who was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the menu and all the dishes. Very personable and genuine. They bring bread with warm tomato sauce on the side which I loved! I had a pasta dish which was delicious. My gf had the fish was also delicious. (sorry for my lack of adjectives). The owner came by to check on us, which I appreciated. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert. The owner said that he made it himself that morning! It was sooooo goood. Best tiramisu I have ever had, and I am very particular about tiramisu. When we left our server and the owner made sure to say bye and thank us for dining with them. Thoroughly impressed! Will definitely be back. Beaufitul, quaint restaurant. This restaurant is doing everything right - nice atmosphere, excellent service, very good food, reasonable prices. Loved it.

Where you order and where you pick up your drink isn't designed to allow for a good flow for customers, aside from that, I have no complaints. I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. I'm still dreaming of all the pastries I didn't get to try.

This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! I'm usually not someone who orders temporary menu items or specials, but the second I saw the S'More Toffee Lava Pancakes I almost had a heart attack, so of course, I ordered the stupid pancakes to avoid such an problem. The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that.
