Breakfast burritos here are the most affordable on this side of the island, they taste good as well. You can pick the meat; we chose Portuguese sausage (because you are in Hawaii). The salsa was solid; lots of egg in the burritos, it wasn't just filler potatoes. I got the mocha and it was delicious. My husband tried the cold brew and he didn't like it. I tried it as well and it was just okay. I loved that the mocha came in a mason jar and we returned it before we left. This is my second favorite coffee truck on the island. We had better luck with the coffee trucks than the coffee shops. Service was super friendly and helpful.

This place was so cute. Sadly, I only got to come here once. It's located in the same center as Tiki Tacos. I wanted to try them out after our lunch, but they weren't open. So we stopped by another morning. They offer walk up service or even drive thru. Both are clearly marked with signs in the parking lot. There's seating on the other side of the truck next to the street. I had really wanted to try their golden milk latte since I've sadly been off coffee for a while. I was talking to the gal taking my order about matcha and while they don't have it, she recommended a couple local places that did. She gave me a slight discount on my order for giving her a shaka! The golden milk latte was delicious. I ordered it with coconut milk. I should have asked for a little bit of honey to make it a little sweeter, but otherwise, it was perfect and a delicious start to my day! Definitely recommend trying this place out!

Amazing experience at Positive Coffee. Owner is very kind and service was very fast. Family got iced mochas and flat whites and everyone enjoyed their coffee. My iced mocha was not too sweet with natural cacao notes. There is shaded outdoor seating which is not difficult to get. Convenient location, located right off Kuhio Highway, perfect stop if going from one side of the island to another. I highly recommend this spot!

Another pre-hike breakfast brought us here, and there are so many good vibes coming out of this truck it's hard not to smile. We had great coffee, a delicious breakfast burrito with chile salsa, and overnight oats with blueberries and banana. And, despite the fact that it's a food truck, they have a "drive thru" area that seemed to be popular with locals, as observed while we were waiting. Oh, and don't forget your Shaka discount. Yes, there is a sign, but you can get a discount just for promoting good vibes.

We wanted to try a different coffee spot any chance we got and we stopped by this coffee truck to start off the day. I ordered the 48 hour cold brew with coffee ice cubes and oat milk. It was pretty good, not too strong and not too light. The Ube muffin was okay. Great service and good coffee. Highly recommend stopping by here when in Kaapa.

We are own vacation from the SF Bay Area, where we have high standards for coffee. That said I found a comparable coffee spot here in Kauai. What a treat to fine this gem in Kapaa. Excellent coffee with non-dairy milk options. They also have tasty breakfast items, like pumpkin bread, wild oats, muffins with vegan options. Friendly service. The coffee here is really, really good. Whether you're in town for vacation or a true local, this place will not disappoint. I recommend their pour over or the cold brew - both are excellent! Wow- the cold brew here is next level! I have a high standard when it comes to my coffee. I drink it black and prefer my cold brew to be smooth and bold. Positive Coffee hits the nail on the head and the coffee ice cubes are an amazing touch! We went to many coffee shops over our trip to Hawaii and this was our standout favorite. We returned three times and the service was consistently kind and friendly as well. Five stars all around!! read more

I also thought the truffle tater tots were an odd choice to offer at first, but they ended up being some of the best tots I've ever had, and the portion was generous. The spicy mayo poke was fresh and flavorful, making the whole plate a pretty solid value. This is one spot I'll definitely be coming back to every time I come back.

The employee who took my order was rude and even yelled at me because she couldn't hear me over the loud music playing in the food truck. I ordered the poke bowl special, which was supposed to come with their famous tots, but the tots were missing from my order. I considered going back to ask for them, but honestly, I didn't because I was worried the employee would be even ruder than she was when I placed my order. I also tipped 20% because I truly believe in taking care of people who work in the service industry. We also tried the katsu musubi and the fried musubi, and all three dishes were absolutely delicious. We've visited both locations, and while the food was excellent at each, the Poʻipū location lacked the warm, welcoming spirit you'd hope to experience while visiting Kauaʻi. That said, much aloha to Kauaʻi. We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to come back.

Positive Coffee stood out to me from the road and I had to get a cup, knowing there must be good coffee to be found on the island of Kauai. I asked the smiling face that took my order for a "cup of coffee". little did I know the Ethiopian variety would be the best cup I've ever had! After the lovely owner brought out my cup and gave me advice on how to work the windows on my rental car, we knew we had to come back at the end of our trip. we ordered a bag of Ethiopian beans and a Shave Ice.
