We love going here for dinner or for a night out! Their Chicken Parmesan is one of my absolute favorites in the area. You also get a great portion! The drinks are made so well too! The staff is always so nice, friendly, and accommodating. They are open late and have a lot of events going on (like Halloween parties and bands). We will keep coming back! read more

Returned here for a beer and dinner after a couple year absence. The bar was full and festive as usual. The 2 servers were prompt and pleasant. My Manhattan clam chowder served with lightlt toasted bread and butter were a hit. The lobster scampi with a side of mixed fresh veggies was a miss. The veggies, recommended by my server, looked beautiful but were rendered inedible by way too much salt. The server was sorry but didn't offer any remedy or compensatory beer/dessert. The bits and pieces of lobster were flavorless and totally lost/overwhelmed in the soupy scampi sauce that tasted mainly of lemon with no hint of crushed red pepper, and seemingly short on butter that would have thickened it slightly. It needed a small bed of pasta to absorb the sauce, most of which remained in the bowl. The menu looked new to me and the choices sounded appetizing. Delivery the goods, as in the past on multiple dining occasions over the years, was mixed and overall a disappointment. read more

I was down that way get a part for my bike and I used maps to pull up a restaurant in the area to try and this pub came up it's is so family friendly everyone there was so nice the food was amazing the price was incredible for 4 ppl not even 80 bucks and we got amazing food pub burger chicken fingers Mac n cheese so delicious calzone that was huge chicken Frances definitely would go back again reminded me of my childhood read more

A very confused wait staff started our terrible dining experience. Two waitresses took turns asking us the same questions while we still had no menus or drinks. The best part of our meal was the beer and not the awful burger that came out. Like a scene from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the patrons and food got worse. The people that come here are from another world, man. I tell you that. It's like they crawled out from, wherever they are from, and all decided to go here. They are strange people. Stay away from this place if you are not a local. This place is dreary and old. The bar is the size of a quarter and the dining room only holds about 15 tables. The wait staff isn't that great, the food is so-so, and the bartenders can be obnoxious. I won't be back. read more

A beautiful night for a walk around town , though most properties seem run down or empty , but I digress ..figured lets have a drink and chill on what seemed like an inviting front porch area of a dive type bar , few people hanging out drinking ...we take a seat ..and wait ...and wait ..and wait ...25 mins not a peep ...I know people can see us ...so signs saying no outdoor service....what gives .. I have eaten here many times, and usually go before or after a show at Roy's Hall. I was surprised to see the negative reviews, because I always had a good experience. I have also suggested the Post Time Pub to others going to Roy's Hall and they were pleased. We usually try to go to the Post Time Pub for Prime Rib night (Saturday) or Lobster night (Monday). You can have a very nice meal for the price. I also have never had to wait a long time to get service. The negative reviews seem old, so maybe there is a new staff. It is more of a local bar / pub atmosphere, which is fine, but maybe not for families. As in a sports' bar, it can get loud at times. I would say you don't need reservations, unless you have a large group. The back room fills up with regulars and there is a lively conversation at the bar. The front room, with its large bar and tables is a bit more private. read more

I always avoid this place - I'm not interested in what they have to offer and I think that they have a lot of issues in the kitchen, if that's what you call it. Will make locals long for the "heady" days of Pete Moore and the Martha Washington Pub (what this place used to be). Can be open or closed at random times - you're better off going to Dominick's in the old A&P plaza or franks in the new plaza. read more

Not our best dining experience. The waitress messed up my drink order first thing. I asked for a ginger ale with lime - no lime. When I told her, she said "I thought you said without lime!" didn't apologize, didn't offer to get me another drink or even a lime. The calamari special was very bland. It was cooked well, not rubbery but no flavor at all. We also ordered crab cakes as an appetizer. I've never had crab cakes made with cream cheese as the filling and I really never want to again. Lobster bisque was strongly tomato based and filled with so many onions and celery (who knows what else) that I couldn't taste any lobster at all. If there was any lobster in the bisque, it was lost among all the other ingredients that should have been pureed first. We also ordered steak with gorgonzola cheese. The cheese sauce completely overwhelmed the perfectly cooked cut of steak. The sauce was all over the plate and it was just too much. The baked potato that came with it was dry and old, inedible. Overall, we've had better and probably won't be going back unless they re-vamp the menu. Again. Someone told us the new chef was going to revitalize the place but so far it hasn't worked. read more

Went here the night before Mothers Day; usually a busy night anywhere. There were three shows in Blairstown that night and our service was quick: the drinks, salad and dinner were timely and accurate. It was prime rib night, Saturday, and a nice hunk of beef, I got the large, she got the queen size. Nice and juicy and not a lot of fat. Finally, found a place where they fill up the wine glass instead of just 5 ounces. This was my 2nd visit. Finally decided to try after last week. Had to try it again tonight. Both times are food was great. Our first visit, my husband and I had full meals from apps to desert. Will Never go back again...Only one watress and she seemed overwhelmed and she only had 4 tables on a sunday night. She was more into talking to her family sitting at the bar then paying customers in the dining room. They had fish and chips as a special....but it was not very good...the batter was way over cooked and had to be scraped off to find the fish. Took forever to have the drink order taken...and she had to be reminded to bring out a salad after the main course came out. read more

Arrived at 6:40 PM for dinner before a show across the street. They ran out of Long trail beer on tap. Then I was told they were out of Prime Rib, on Prime Rib night. We then waited until about 8:15 or so, before leaving for the show, without getting our dinner.I'll be back for drinks when we attend another concert, but if I want to eat I'll go somewhere else. For a place that presumably targets the pre-show crowd for the HBT, you would think that the Post Time Pub would pay some attention to its customers or have a little concern for service and food quality. Our experience began with a sullen and curt bartender, who seemed bothered to have to deal with any of her customers. From there it went downhill, including more poor service, cold meals, lackluster food quality and prices that are way too high (particularly for a restaurant that seems to NOT want to be in the business). If you are going to a show at the HBT, save yourself the time, aggrevation and money. Avoid the Post Time Pub. read more

Don't go here. The owner was nasty. The pepperoni pizza smelled like and tasted like wet socks! The wings were obviously not fresh. This was not a good experience and to be honest, the experience in total was... quite sad. This place could have potential, but it seems the owner is much more interested in being nasty to the paying patrons then owning and running a top notch food establishment with fresh and delicious food.
