It's an interesting place and location with a nice back view (if we had been offered a table there instead of against the wall). Nice menu and special choices and full bar. The Bloody Mary sinks were good, the potato skins were ok but a tad bit dry but their limited vegetables mussels appetizer was good except they forgot the garlic bread for it until we inquired. The ham special was good but their limited vegetables choices were odd only broccoli or carrots. The stuffed twin lobster special was disappointing as the lobster was over cooked and rubbery and the crab stuffing was somewhat over done and just laid on top. Service was good but interesting that none of the servers had any type of standard uniform or more formal wear then camo or T-shirts, but I guess most business are happy that employees actually show up. read more

We came for dinner knowing we were coming to a Pub. After checking the menu online we chose Pub 447. Asking questions about items on the menu that stated "fresh" we felt very limited to our choices as they were definitely cooking frozen low quality items. The clam chowder had maybe 1/4 of 1 clam finely chopped and was curdled. The (frozen) boneless chicken wings were fried so hard they were hard to cut with a steak knife. I would not have trusted my teeth to chew them. I do not recommend dinner- drinks were fine! Nice bar and outdoor tiki bar for cocktails . read more

First time we've been here since the new owners took over. There were lots of good improvements including opening up the dining room and having a wall sized picture of the Delaware Water Gap and extending the bar. Staff were all friendly and attentive. We sat at the bar; drinks were good. Food was delicious too- husband had fried shrimp basket ($14) and I had fried chicken ($15). Both came with French fries but mine also had fried onion rings. There was a nice crowd there on a Friday night in November and there was a gods sound system for the music. When the weather gets warmer, we look forward to going to their outside pavilions. Pub 447 hosted our mother's surprise 70th birthday on 12/6/25 which superseded our expectations! Cara and her team went above and beyond to accommodate our banquet! The board room was decorated perfectly with creativeness and perfection. I worked in the tourism field in the Poconos for over 25 years. The service and whole experience was comparable to Woodloch. Every staff member bent over backwards taking care of our guests and we were a party of 82 people. Now let's talk about the food... The chicken Parm was outstanding, the penne vodka was probably the best I've had in my life, my whole family wants the beef and pineapple recipe and to top it off Cara threw in assorted pizzas that reminded me of when I visited Italy. Cara and her team has turned Pub 447 into a magnificent venue for our community! The renovations to her entire property just is a small reflection of the passion they have for what they do. I've resisted doing a review because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but after my most recent experience, which will be my last, I decided it's time. We are a group of 4 adults, the first time we came here we all got the ribeye which was cooked to order, tasty and very reasonably priced. In fact we enjoyed it so much we went back for lunch the next day, once again having a good experience. However... We went back for dinner on a Sunday around 5pm, it happened to be my birthday, the place was not at all crowded but they were out of ribeyes so we all ordered the Porterhouse, two medium rare, one medium, one medium well. Three were cooked as requested, mine was medium closer to medium well. I generally don't complain if the steak is even close to medium rare but this wasn't even close. I called over the waitress, who was a doll, explained, she looked at the steak, agreed and said she'd get another one out immediately. The rest of my party continue to eat, they were all done and I still hadn't gotten my steak, I told the waitress to cancel & bring us the check. She was besides herself apologizing, at some point she must have overheard us talking about my birthday & mentioned it to the cook, because as we were leaving someone came up with a take out box with my steak and said 'happy birthday' We weren't charged for it. ok, this past Friday we decided to give them another chance. Same people same orders only this time it was ribeyes. Mine came out slightly charred on the outside and cold & raw in the middle. I sent it back, after about 10 mins I got it back cooked to medium with a slightly rarish piece right at the bone. We will not be giving them another chance. Horrible experience there today. I was at a table attached to 3 other friends. Who we thought was our waitress (Stephanie) only took my food order. She had already served my friends drinks. After she took my food order she walked away, completely ignoring my friends. I got up, approached her & told her they also wanted food. I was told she wasn't their waitress. She never offered to get another one for us. Luckily, another waitress in our area (Jennifer) came over, apologized & went above and beyond for all of us. Stephanie was very rude not only to us, but Jennifer as well when she came over to take my friends' orders. She also gave us an attitude, dirty looks and was talking about us to other employees. This place is super overrated. Nothing special about their food, it's mediocre at best. But what really got me was the service and the vibe of the place. The service sucked. We sat at the outside bar. The bartender spent the entire time we were there walking fast around the bar and occasionally throwing (unnecessarily) a dirty dish into a bin. It really appeared that that guy was just trying to look busy instead of actually attending to people sitting at the bar. (Note the place was not busy at all, lots of bar seats and tables were open and only one party being served at the inside seating) There were also two plain clothed individuals who kept walking behind the bar and touching things and getting drinks for themselves and then they would sit back down at the bar... not sure if they worked there but if so they were obviously not on shift so why did they have to keep walking behind the bar to help themselves... but then again the bartender was extremely inattentive. We waited 30 minutes to place a food and new drink order and that's only because after 30 minutes I flagged the inattentive bartender down to tell him we wanted to place our order. The guy next to me asked the bartender for tartar sauce and he waited 12 minutes before he got his sauce. After ordering our food the bartender never came back to check on us again until I flagged him down for our check. I had to ask a food runner to for sauce and he kindly brought me some. The food runners appeared to be the hardest working people at the place. The bill non itemized and hand written on paper with the words "food" and "bar" and a price next to both. ALSO I noted 2 old men in probably their mid 60s or up sitting at the bar. When I saw one of the much younger waitresses give one a kiss on the cheek I thought aww maybe that's her grandpa..... but then the guy got hugs and kisses from every other waitress I saw working there and it started to make me extremely uncomfortable. He also had wandering eyes if you know what I mean. And then I noticed it happening with the second older guy and I was just flat out creeped out and started to hope that the waitress that works there was not uncomfortable for their whole shift. I have been to Pub 447 on many occasions with my Motorcycle Club, usually during the Spring/Summer time and enjoy the outdoor bar area. Those experiences were above our expectations. With that being said, today 12/29/19...we decided to eat here with some of our close friends. This was by far the biggest disappointment, we had a party of 11 most of which ordered Steaks and clams. After waiting nearly and hour for our meals, every single steak was over cooked, the clams looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long period of time and lost all moisture to the point butter didn't help. The baked potato was under cooked like it had been microwaved rather than baked, and the "Fresh" mixed vegetables were not only obviously frozen, but so mushy they could be sucked through a straw. The waitress...was far too concerned with singing, dancing and entertaining the folks seated around the bar that she never once came to check on us after the sorry excuse for food was brought to us, so there was no way of having it sent back or corrected. After food and drinks the total bill came to over $300 which they refused to break down into separate checks but made sure to add in their own tip amount! This occurred Friday June 3, 2022 The bar manager / acting waitress is very rude and obnoxious. I've never had a waitress pull up a chair and take a seat at the table and engage customers in such a condescending manner. We asked her if she has ciroc, her reply was do you see it on the menu? A menu of flavored mixed drinks does not determine the brand of alcohol your using to make the drinks. Yelling across the restaurant to put our hand down. Then when she finally did come to our table she pulled up a chair and proceeded to tell my husband not to raise his hand to call her over because she was making her way back to us. We asked for another waitress and she told us she was the fastest waitress so she refused to accommodate the request. She continuously argued with us when we told her we didn't want her waiting on us and wanted someone else. My husband got up from the table to ask if there was a manager there and we were told she was the manager. After several minutes of going back and forth she told us the drinks were on here and we could find another place to dine and I told her I don't even want your drink and pushed it away, she pushed it back and said please have it, it's delicious bc so made it.
