It's difficult to write a review for a business that seems more like family. Sure...the business deserves all the nice accolades for Service, Quality, Friendly, Professional ... etc. But that can be said for many. What's different here is the feeling you get when you first step foot in the door ... like you've just walked through the back way of your "Aunty's" house...a place you consider your own. This place is a hidden treasure and anyone who says anything else is a liar :) I had the BEST experience from start to finish with renting a U-Haul from this location (which I never knew you could do from a Postal Annex). My transaction started w/a wonderful gem I believe her name is Jackie (she has gray hair and stunning green eyes) who went above and beyond to help me understand all the terms, policies, procedures as well as I was a hot mess during a move and she really helped me in more ways than one. Additionally, the office was clean and well stocked w/items and they offer a multitude of services. When I had to contact the site again re: extending the rental, I had the pleasure of speaking to Yvonne who added to this wonderful experience. Yvonne also provided clear and concise instructions and went above and beyond to explain the extension terms and she truly cared and was empathetic to all my needs. These gals are superstars and good for business Lastly, the ease of simply returning the U-Haul and placing the key in a drop box was great! Wonderful friendly and prompt service from Yvonne. I was scrambling to find a postal service on a Saturday and had a bundle of packages. It was late afternoon and most were closed other than one " grumpy" one. So I called Postal Annex on Fletcher and Yvonne was as nice as can be. She gave me directions and let me know she could handle all the different deliveries I had to send out. When I walked in, she greeted me with a smile, and even though she was with a customer, she acknowledged me and told me where I could set my packages. I had 2 trips to make to my car to get them all. Yvonne had me in and out in less than 5 minutes. So naturally this is our new Go To for packages and important mail. It's in a convenient shopping area too with Smart and Final, Joanne's, Starbucks, and right next to a Chinese restaurant. It's a there! read more

The ladies that run the show over here are on point. I have to challenge them regularly, as I rent two separate mail boxes here, occasionally ship packages, and need notary services periodically. I need a lot from them, and often while they are busy with a line of customers. I decided to write this review because even though they are often under a lot of stress, they still manage to treat their customer base with respect. They really handle their constant workload well. The team was super helpful. I needed packing tape which they had and priced very reasonable. While I was in line I could see employee working with their guest about getting their passport renewed with a time crunch. Heard No details of course, but I could tell how hard store worked to please their guest and expedite their services. I do all my mailing at this postal annex. There is never a line, they keep your information in their computer and make it EASY to ship anything. I can bring gifts in hand it over and they box it, make it safe and make sure it gets there on time. You can also get notary service here. The only reason I didn't give them that last two stars is everyone who works here is rather dull. They never make you feel like they are happy to see you and one woman always acts like we are taking her away from the MOST important task in the world. I guess you can't manufacture personality, but at least a greeting when you walk in would make a world of difference. read more

Sometimes I just need to get something done like a passport application or ship an item I sold on eBay or simply get postage because I ran out of stamps. Every time I think "I probably won't need to come here again" something always comes up and I find myself coming back! This location is so convenient in the neighborhood and in one of the nicer shopping centers near Starbucks and CVS off Fletcher, and right off the 125! So if I'm heading to downtown, the beach or anywhere in between, I don't worry about needing time to getting anything done. PostAnnex+ covers it all. The staff are friendly and eager to help. I was not going to leave a review, but then when I got here and saw that Yvonne continues to rub people the wrong way, I needed to comment. I have been coming here for years. Over the course of that time, I have interacted with Yvonne several times. Each time she seems annoyed and bothered. Each time, I blew off her rudeness and just assumed the shop was busy and wanted to cut her some slack. Today, was the final straw. She was super rude and I will no longer return as a customer. I will say however, that Miriam is a fantastic employee and is always so informative and nice-- and it's really too bad that Yvonne cancels out all the great work Miriam does. read more

I never give bad reviews because I realize how detrimental it can be to companies/employees, but in this particular instance it caused consequences in my personal life. I went to this location to get fingerprints done for my livescan so I could take my boards for a medical license. When I arrived at this location, there was only one lady who was "trained" to perform my fingerprints. I should have left when she couldn't even remember the password to the livescan computer and had to call another person to walk her through all the steps. I've had fingerprints performed before which took maybe 10 minutes. I was in this store for over an hour because the lack of training this woman must have had for livescan. After an aggravating hour, I was told that my fingerprints were submitted for the FBI/DOJ to review so I could be granted permission to take my boards. Well it's been 6 weeks and seeing all my classmates have received testing dates/their licenses, I decided to call the Board to see what was taking so long. I was informed that whoever performed my livescan fingerprint, inputted a lot of info incorrectly into the system so the board & FBI were in communication back and forth trying to see what went wrong. It all resulted in a mistake by whoever performed my livescan. Now, I'm weeks behind testing which is prolonging a residency and job search. Pretty unfortunate situation that could have been preventable. read more

Yvonne was incredibly patient and thorough walking through all the loan docs and double-checking to make sure things were in order. Worst service ever!!! I decided to get my supply deliveries sent to this Postal Annex to prevent them from getting stolen off my porch. What a mistake! Waited for the package to be delivered for over a week; should've been here in 3 days. Checked the UPS tracking #, and it had been delivered, "allegedly". Katy said, " the package had not been delivered, UPS is lying." Fast forward to today, she now claims the package HAD been delivered and it was signed out. Total BS! Too bad I paid for the whole year, avoid this place unless you value incompetence. read more
