My wife and I came in for a notary. We had a couple of questions regarding the signature process and the man behind the counter was extremely condescending. Nel is swell! I needed to send an Amazon package out today in order to get a refund. She taped my box and attached my label with zero attitude. So friendly and helpful! They only charge a tiny tiny fee to help them pay for an employee to go sit in line at the post office so you don't have to. So worth it. I will be back! read more

Great Postal Annex! I usually drive all the way across Escondido to get to the Postal Annex I've always used but was in a bit of a time crunch. I walked in to this one and was greeted by a man helping out another customer. I waited around for a few minutes and I could tell the customer he was helping was going to be a while. I had plenty of time to wait so I was just browsing their selection of cards. He ended up getting me started on my passport photos while the other customer looked for something in her purse. My photos came out great, I really just came here to say how impressed I was with his customer service. The customer he was helping seemed like a handful but he made her laugh and was just very pleasant the entire time. I'll be back! read more

I rarely give out such a low rating, but this place needs to be exposed for disrespectful attitude and lack of professionalism. I'm not writing this review after a one time visit, I'm writing after my 4th. The first time I went in the owner or manager was very polite. As soon as stated that I'm here to pick up my mail from ipostal1 he immediately became rude, angry, and disrespectful. Apparently he does not like doing business with the third party agency ipostal1, even though it's his business who decided to work for/with ipostal1, and therefore feels justified to take out his frustrations on customers. I thought maybe he was having a bad day so I let it go, but after the 4th time with same experience others need to be warned. Take your business to a place that actually wants and appreciates it. read more

Friendly service. Very efficient and gets you in and out quickly. Prices are very fair. I have been to this establishment on a few occasions and have been very happy with getting things sent out. I went to this Postal Annex to get passport photos for me and my daughter. That camera must be magic or the photographer was a magician because that was one of the best photos I have ever taken. Sorry I didn't get her name but she was blonde and had an easy smile with a charming wit. I needed to send a package Express to NY before a deadline for a customer. They helped me pick the best company to ship with and saved me a bunch of money on the shipping costs. With the shipping company they recommended my package ended up arriving early and I looked like a hero! Went in to send some amazon purchases back and was very pleased with the service I received. The owner (I believe) greeted me immediately and asked what he could help me with. Amazon had sent me a QR code for my return and he informed me he did not have the scanner for that, but if I had a minute he could show me how to get the proper return label. He showed me step by step how to get get this done, all while training an employee and helping customers. Michael , the trainee, was extremely friendly as well. The posted business hours state they open at 10, I have been waiting for them to open and nobody is here. They are now 6 min late and several people are waiting. I will never come back to this location. How can I trust them the send my package correctly and on time if they can't even open their doors on time. This shady operation is run by the rudest man on the planet. Located in the Walmart/Kohls shopping center on Center Drive and Nordahl, it's close to my house to I ventured over. When I was directed to get a live scan there, he looked at my hands in preparation for a fingerprints, frowned at me and said, "Oh, I see you're a hard working woman!" I mean, what kind of a weird insult is that? Was he implying that I have man hands or something? That I appear to be an auto mechanic with little access to hand lotion? I mean, WTH????? Recently, I again visited to mail two packages, out of desperation because this location is very close to my home. He again rose to the occasion of just abject hostility, snarling at me and asking me over and over what package went where despite the fact that I had carefully packaged and addressed both items. It's not rocket science, ya just look at the address, weigh the package, and mail it, right? He proceeded to overcharge me for both packages, apparently disregarding the fact that I was able to see the various costs for each service on the computer screen. I ended up way overpaying just to get my items sent and get as far away from this Devil Man as possible. I would rather brave the post office and risk catching the Corona virus than come into contact with this creep again. I feel so sorry for his employees. read more
