Aside from those two fingers (and one that required one repeat try but then matched), every finger matched immediately. As you note, it usually only takes 5-6 minutes. You did try a few times, as I noted in my original review, and I thank you for that. What bothered me was that you then got super annoyed when I asked to try again, when you hadn't spent that much time to begin with, and then rushed me out when I tried to confirm that I at least had the necessary paperwork. I hope you are more compassionate with others in the future. Thank you for responding. Original: Do not come here for livescan fingerprinting. I waited in line for 20 minutes as they helped two customers ahead of me. When it was my turn, they first helped a few customers behind me because they said the livescan would take too long - that's fine; I waited. Most of my fingers matched on the first try, but two didn't match after 3-4 attempts. If the livescan doesn't go through, I have to go back to this location to repeat the scan; I'm 9 months pregnant, so I asked could we please try again, so I don't have to come back with a newborn. The guy helping me refused, because he was tired of trying. He had helped me for around 10 minutes total and wanted me to pay the $80 and leave, even though he had spent over 20 minutes with one of the customers ahead of me (they were already being helped when I arrived). Aside from potentially jeopardizing the livescan because he was tired of trying, the guy was rude - I asked if he needed to fill out another sheet and he bit my head off. I have to admit. I originally posted a one star review about this location. I had dropped off a high value package that somehow got lost during pickup from FedEx or USPS. No tracking for two weeks. I visited this location and asked for help and at that time, they didn't give me much advice or guidance to work with. So I was terribly disappointed and upset. But Margherita the owner reached out to me by email after posting the poor yelp review and has since been on top of helping me track the package for the entire week. I can see now why Margherita garners so much praise and respect by her customers. For that I am embarrassed for the poor review however it was not entirely inaccurate. If anything, the individual that attempted to help me initially could have been more empathetic. More understanding that when someone has potentially lost close to $1500 that a little more listening and empathy goes a long way. That when you're having a conversation with someone you just don't walk away from the person and tell them "I don't know, it was picked up, it will likely be shipped back to you." And then totally forget the person is standing there. I'm sure w he was busy, but that's the difference between good and great customer service. I got a quote from them for $90 for 7 months ($12.85/mo) in November 2 months ago. I came in today and they're saying they increased their prices by 30% to $18 a month for a personal mailbox. I need a mailbox for my business so it's $23/mo (100% more). I understand inflation but 30% increase in 2 months for a personal mailbox?! They are worse than used car salespeople! And why didn't they tell me in their quote the difference between a personal and business mailbox if there is a difference in pricing. Anyway, see the photo of the conversation. They made a comment to my review but you can see on their original message $90 for 7 months and the quote for today $18/mo ($126 for 7 months). I would've just got the mailbox for the price if they had been upfront about their pricing. But I feel like a 30% quote difference is outrageous so I found a mailbox place 1 miles away for $17/mo for a business mailbox while this place wanted to charge $23/mo. read more

Best Postal Annex in the area... The staff is amazing, and they really take that extra step to make your postal services go right. COVID-19 regulations limit two customers at the counter at any given time, and boxes are often carted along side the wall for pickup, but staff works hard, they're very polite and efficient. read more

This is ONE BUSY place. Seriously, there isn't a day that I don't pop into here and its always moving and shaking. But, it's never chaotic. Marghertia is so calm and cool under pressure. Today, I saw here juggle three customers, direct a delivery, answer the phone and process my request for fingerprinting. She was training a new employee who is quite pleasant and patient and was working with a particularly demanding customer who had tons of questions and unrelated comments. Yet, neither of them ever lost their professionalism. Because of my long wait, I was given a prompt apology and an acknowledgement that my time is valuable and they were sorry for wasting some of it. She even allowed us to use her company computer to change and process a new application (our was wrong) She patiently waited then we finished, guided us through the application. I needed to ship Christmas presents to Oregon on a Sunday and searched for a shipping store that was open and found this one. I bought a box and told the owner that I lived in Almaden and needed to go back and get my gifts but would return before they closed at 5pm and he said if I ran late to just call. I also mentioned how great it was that they were open since most shipping stores weren't open on Sunday and he said they even opened early today. He was so smart to open early a week before Christmas. When I returned with my packages he greeted me and commented how fast I had returned. It was nice of him to remember me. These days when everyone is so busy and not so friendly, I really appreciated the awesome customer service, great prices and convenience of this shop and their staff. Are you supposed to annex for all of my shipping needs they are so friendly and customer service is A +. But today they went over and above what a postal store should do. I stopped in to mail a few books and realized I didn't have my wallet with me I had left it on my desk at work. I told him that I would come back because I was picking up food at the restaurant next-door for the office and knew I didn't have my credit card to pay for it. The owner said, "Now don't worry about it, how much do you need $50? $60? Here is $60 just take it and go get your lunch and then bring it back to me later." What??? What a nice man. The owner, Thomas went above and beyond by not only providing me with notary services, but also advised that I take the time to correct a couple of errors that he noticed on the document in the computer first. I was there for several hours, and both Thomas and Margherita were so patient with me; I never once felt rushed. To them, it was more important to see that I had my document correct before just providing me with notary service. And to me, that spoke volumes, and attests to their professionalism and their commitment to providing excellent customer service to their customers.
