I love the ambiance of this place. Dim lighting, good music, not too loud, savvy decor. It's a perfect spot for a date whether it be a first date or a night out with your significant other. The food is pricey but not going to break your bank. We ordered the meatballs & goat cheese, some bruschetta, and the NYC grilled cheese. The bruschetta was probably my favorite, mainly because you get to choose from a bunch of different flavors. I especially loved the piquillo pepper & goat cheese and the smoked salmon & pesto bruschettas. I don't recommend the grilled cheese, they're more like bruschetta bread with cheese in between. Not quite the gooey cheesy soft bread with crispy crust that I was hoping for. We ordered a bottle of their pinot noir. It was pretty tasty. Not too pricey but also not cheap. Service was decent, did have to hunt down someone for more water but it's not the end of the world. Still love this place. Would definitely recommend! read more

Postino to-go: A whole new world. Since the shutdown of IRL dining in has been a reality, I have made it a point to get takeout from restaurants that have unique menus or don't really offer takeout. And last week, I said "F-it, I'm getting Postino". I wanted it. I *needed* it. Yes, I know what you're thinking, "Hey, girl, you can make bruschetta and cheese plates at home." But do I really want to visit several grocery stores to track down all these fancy ingredients? No. And do I want to take the time to make it look pretty? Not really. Besides, an order of either from Postino is less than $20 and it's enough to share with a person or two, depending on how hungry one might be. Also, it's super simple to order online via Yelp and do contact-free pickup. Everything is packaged up and ready to go, waiting for takeout customers at a table out front. Pop in and out with a mask and you've got dinner for the evening. Side note: They do NOT serve wine to-go so you'll have to get that elsewhere. But that's not an issue in Denver, as there's a weed shop and liquor store on every corner and they're still "necessary". read more

This place wasn't horrible but it wasn't amazing. We waited about ten minutes for a hostess to sit us because no one was paying attention to the door. The service was mediocre. Staff was friendly but not around a lot. The food was okay but a tad bland. A fire alarm started going off at the end of our meal which was perfect timing because no one seemed to be in a rush to get the alarm turned off. It went off for about five minutes before we landed up leaving and just paying our tab through the qrl code. I will say that I was pretty excited to just be able to pay the bill away from the on going alarm. I would give it another try just to see if there is an improvement. read more

So happy I went here. Postinos has been on my bucket list for awhile now. I came here with a friend before a art exhibition. We were starving and seriously wanted to try everything. We both love Charcuterie boards so we knew this place would be perfect. We got the chefs charcuterie, I loved the array of different choices for meats and cheeses. I loved that they added there hummus to it, I love hummus! We got the bruschetta board. I love that there were so many choices to choose from. And I love that they pre cut the bruschetta for you! We got the Salmon pesto, apple Brie, prosciutto, and sweet pepper jam. To our surprise we really enjoyed the sweet pepper jam, who would have thought. We wanted to try the tuna tartar it was nice and refreshing. Loved the added pine nuts. We also got the skewers, they smelled Devine. You get one chicken and one steak. The steak was a little over cooked for my liking. We loved the chicken and it wasn't try. They came on a bed of refreshing yogurt. Since we were ordering with our eyes, we decided to each get a panini. My love for Brie continued as I got a Brie prosciutto arugula panini. It was just classic. And it came with a side salad. My friend on the chicken panini and Hannah's field salad. She really enjoyed the field salad. I will definitely be back maybe I will go to another location next time! read more

We have been to Postino twice in the highlands, this was our first visit to this location. We were a little apprehensive to visit this one as they tore down an established gay bar and replaced it with a chain. Sigh. We decided to order out tonight as we had a promotion for the #YelpEliteEvent with a complimentary bruschetta board. We decided to make a night out of it. We ordered the meatballs and goat cheese- these get a 4/5 as they were room temperature, but the meat was seasoned very nicely and the sauce and cheese were delicious. The Brussels salad is a MUST order. Fresh, crisp and so flavorful. 5/5 The skewers were also a 5/5- beef incredible well flavored and tender and the chicken fabulous. The tzaziki sauce is worth ordering a gallon. Can still taste it! The bruschetta- 4/5- also room temperature and I picked up the order the minute it was ready, even waited ten minutes longer than quoted. They have really interesting flavor combinations so try as many as you can! My favorite was definitely Buffalo mozzarella, bacon and arugula and a close second was the spicy jam and figs. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, one of the better take out nights we have had in a while. read more

Ordered 2 Bruschetta boards and I found them to be pretty underwhelming. The best one was the Pepper Jam Goat cheese. The others were pretty bland which is pretty much almost all the other bruschetta options. Ordered the goat cheese meatballs based off our server's recommendation and they also were nothing special. To me it was edible but nothing really enjoyable. Lacked flavor and they were pretty small. I felt like they were just frozen meatballs with canned tomato sauce. I came here on my birthday and absolutely loved it. They even have membership sort of things here that allow you to get these quarterly benefits like free bottles of wine, and after my experience, I definitely think I will be joining. It was very lively and full of energy in there. The servers were quick, polite, and attentive. Our food was amazing. I really have 0 complaints. If you're looking into them online, definitely check out their bruschetta (choose 4) options. That hit so much harder than I thought it would. Once we realized that and we tried to re-order after our preliminary order, we were told we had been doing too much drinking and could not get a cocktail. Had been to this location with some coworkers recently on a business trip. First impressions From the start with the hostess Emma who greeted us with a big smile , it's so important to be acknowledged!!!!!! Too many places don't seem to do that anymore! I love this place! So much that I attended it twice in one week after discovering it. Everything about it is awesome, the food, the service, and the prices. The two times I have gone we shared a Bruschetta board with Salami & Pesto, Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato, & Basil, Prosciutto De Parma, Fig & Mascarpone, Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese, and the Burrata, Bacon, Arugula, & Tomato. They are all delicious but the Prosciutto De Parma, Fig & Mascarpone is definitely my favorite. In addition to the board we've shared the Chicken and Mozzarella Panini which has delicious flavors. The board and the panini (with the side salad - also delicious) is a perfect amount of food to share between two people. Came in on a busy Saturday night with a group of 14 girls. We ordered all 9 items the snack things/table bites menu, every kind of bruschetta, the chef's charcuterie board, 2 prosciutto paninis, casesar salad and creme brûlée for dessert. We went for seconds on the cauliflower, skewers, OMG grilled cheese and some of the bruschettas. My favorite bruschetta out of the 12 offered is the 1.) proscuitto di parma, 2.) warm artichoke spread and 3.) burrata, bacon, arugula and tomato. Several bottles of wine, 2 pitchers of beer a few cocktails to add to the mix. Postino's was a good pick for our girls night out. The ciabatta was a little over toasted for our liking but it was still delicious! I had the NINE IRON for $11 with smoked bacon, grilled chicken, fresh stracciatella, mixed greens, tomato, dijonnaise on focaccia bread. The Nine Iron was tasty and loved the layers of flavors and the thick bacon. However the focaccia broke into 8 -10 pieces after the first bite so I had to eat the sandwich with a knife and fork bite by bite. It was still delicious but definitely prefer a focaccia that can still keep its form when eating the sandwich. We enjoyed the $5 deal for a pitcher of IPA. Landed in Denver and needed food and this caught my eye as it was also close to our Airbnb. Known for their bruschetta boards which where absolutely fantastic. The chopped tomato and almond hummus was the best followed by the warm artichoke. We also had the seasonal veggies on goat cheese and the date/pistachio/ricotta which was honestly lacking in flavor compared to the others. Postino has always been one of my go-to places when I want a lighter meal with good ambiance. Their happy hour for drinks is truly a great deal ($6 for a pitcher of beer!) and they've kept it throughout the pandemic and their food is pretty good too. I normally go for the half panini half salad deal (Prosciutto and Brie ciabatta and Hannah's Field salad) and Sippin Pretty. Although normally a five-star place, I reluctantly am giving it four stars for a reason that I've been pondering the validity on for a while. We're all aware the toll the pandemic has taken on businesses and individuals so we are all making do with what we can. Most businesses have increased their prices and/or cut down on portions and/or added some mandatory fees. I did notice that the food this time around has decreased quite substantially in quantity. I thought $15.25 for bland tuna tartare and a few pieces of bread was quite extreme as well as the significant reduction in ingredients for the ciabatta and bruschetta board. Again, I am aware that we are in a pandemic and cuts need to be made somewhere but most restaurants I go to seem reasonable with their chosen way of saving. This was just a little too much for me and I will likely wait to come back until things have gotten back to normal. read more

So I already knew that I loved Postino and likely already reviewed another location. All the same, let me break down the things I love about Postino and highlight that great values they offer. The drinks! Everyday they offer a "5 until $5", which is a glass of wine or a PITCHER of beer/cider (on tap, of course) for only $5. That's a pitcher for $5! I don't need to say it again. As of 12/15, I was fortunate enough to have a pitcher of their Odell Sour. Wow. Bottle & Board deals. I know you can and probably have read this for yourself but this is worth reiterating. Monday and Tuesday after 8pm, Postino offers a BOARD of Bruschetta (we'll talk about that in a second) and a bottle of wine for $25. That's a full bottle. And it's not a "house red" they never sold from years ago. It's your pick from their pretty long bottle list. I'm not the only person who know's about this deal, so you can image that the wait can get a little long on these nights. Worth it. The bruschetta boards. I know I alluded to them already, now let's drive it home. This is not necessarily your standard bruschetta board. Each board come with four slices, each it's own flavor. The slice itself is generally pretty hefty and divided into four smaller pieces (for sharing and sampling if need be). The list of flavor combinations (as shown in my picture) is fairly vast so you can cater to the flavor profile and dietary needs of each participant. And yes, the bread can come gluten free. Keep an eye on the rotating seasonal flavor. Maybe you like a more standard Bruschetta board? Guess what, they can do that too. Something I have noticed in my experience with Postino over the years is how the Burrata Bacon option for the bruschetta board has changed. It used to be this beautiful piling piece of bruschetta cascading in smaller bacon pieces. Now the selection looks much more scant, offering a few slim pieces of bacon. Don't get me wrong, I still order it. But the presentation and the substance of this option before was much more appealing and enjoyable to me. I've only touched on a small subset of the menu (but arguable the most important part). Explore and try! Love Panini's? Try the prosciutto and brie. It's a personal favorite.
