One of my favorite cafes in FiDi. I like the vibes here. Mostly ample seating, except when it gets super busy. I usually get their grab and go items and enjoy them inside. The salads are fresh. I've also had the pesto pasta salad a few times. Only thing is I believe the pesto is made with pistachio and arugula, but not any basil. I much prefer pesto made with basil. I mean, it's not really pesto if it's not made with basil. At least not in my book, and I think most Italians would agree. The Roasted Salmon Filet was a bit on the dry side, but they do use loch duart salmon My friends like their coffee, but I can't personally speak to that. It's definitely not inexpensive, but you're probably paying for the location, and I must admit I always just like hanging here. I came to Postscript on a Thursday afternoon, and the store was packed. They have a fair amount of seats and tables, but all of them were full, which was surprising for a weekday. I ordered the Orange Blossom Matcha, which I would not recommend. It was pretty expensive at $8+, and it was incredibly milky. I couldn't taste the orange blossom or the matcha; it really just tasted like straight milk. Considering the price, I would likely not get it again. The service was curt but efficient. I love the aesthetics and atmosphere of postscript! If they had more seating, I can definitely seeing myself working from the cafe area. The cafe drinks are okay, nothing mind blowing. They're punching down as well, fighting with post.script (a cute gift and stationery store in Lower Pac Heights.) Service was fine but nothing special. They have outdoor and indoor seating. My boyfriend and myself stumbled upon this cute coffee shop as it was walking distance from our hotel. It's a very bright and airy space with a good selection of prepared foods, coffee/tea, flower bouquets and savory items. Postscript is a uniquely chic café with a tastefully designed style nestled in between Jackson Square and the FiDi. It has a nice array of plants and artisanal goods. There is a wide selection of lunch options available from a quick grab-and-go sandwich to handcrafted bowls and salads that you can order from the menu. Don't sleep on the pastries and breakfast items, the scrumptious Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie is one of the best that I have come across. Since it's a nice walk from my office, I have been coming here quite often. I usually order a Kids' Hot Chocolate (although it is no longer on the menu, you can still order it), and enjoy it outside on their metal green chairs or at the Transamerica Redwood Park nearby. I am no longer a child, but I find this $3 6-oz drink a perfect little treat for me when I need to take a break from work -- while also evoking a sense of nostalgia and being easy on my credit card at the same time. More importantly, I was compelled to write this review on account of my experiences with the incredible team at Postscript. The crew behind the counter has always been so kind and friendly, and I was amazed at how attentive the staff roaming the floor were -- as one of them wiped down my table within seconds of me settling down outside. Postscript has easily become my favorite café in the area. However, I had significant issues with the actual service and product quality. My drink was served lukewarm, not hot. When I brought this up, the staff response was dismissive. More concerning: I developed GI illness several hours after my visit. I decided to grab the Berry Pink smoothie which is a local take on Hailey Bieber's erewhon smoothie. It was a blend of strawberries, avocado, mct oil, dates, maple syrup, yogurt, almond milk and maca powder. For $17, I found the smoothie to be too tart and bland for my liking. I thought that the maple syrup and dates would balance out the yogurt, but I'd prefer it a little sweeter. Additionally, my smoothie wasn't fully blended so I found avocado pieces at the bottom of the cup. I don't think I'd order again. I didn't have the chance to pick up the food but i was intrigued by their in-house roasted beans. I picked up Requiem and omg, it's been the smoothest and yummiest beans I've ever had! Notes of dark chocolate, marshmallow, and almond roca, I've found a new favorite. For my fellow espresso enthusiasts- please try this blend. It's my second time here, so it is a repeater on my list. First time, we got the maca cloud (which is my personal favorite) and the breakfast sandwich. Loved both and totally warranted a second visit. Second time, we got the berry glow and the marine layer. I liked the berry glow but some might find it too strawberry forward. I personally didn't like the marine layer since it was heavy on the pineapple flavor and not usually what I go for. There is only one location, making this place even more special. Now, let's talk smoothies. The famous comparison of their smoothies is to those made famous by Erewhon in Los Angeles, however, the Postscript smoothies are healthier without all of the added sugars. At $20 they pack a healthy punch that, in my opinion, makes them worth it. I purchased the Marine Layer and I highly recommend it! Not only is it a pretty drink it's also very light and tasty. If you're looking for a smoothie that will wake up your senses and keep you feeling full in the morning then this is the one. I also purchased one of their $8 cold pressed juices and it was great. I like my cold pressed juices to have an expiration date of 2-3 days and that was a major driver is me getting one. Overall, I think they are good but they're small and could be packing a few more ounces to make them worth the price. In general, I think Postscript provides quality goods. The prices are not astronomical, they simply reflect the quality in their products. HIGHLY recommend. Tote bags $16 if you want a souvenir. read more

It was a little salty but very filling and tasty. I thought the sandwich would be made fresh, but it looked like it's premade and they toss it in an oven, similar to Starbucks...but it didn't take long because there was no (food) line ahead of me. A very fancy new coffee shop on a fancy block with fancy stores. It's a big space so they also have some fancy groceries, though it's far from a grocery store. It seems like a good amount of their pastry case is outsourced to other local bakeries, but they do make some wonderful cookies in-house. Cranberry Oatmeal Cookie: Wow, what a surprise hit! Normally I'm very apathetic towards oatmeal cookies, especially if there is no chocolate involved, but this might have been my favorite item here. It was super gooey and had a lot of nice texture from cranberries, pumpkin seeds and probably other mix-ins. Nice spices too, just the right for a kick without overpowering. Plus they had a sporadic white glaze on top, reminiscent of the grocery store oatmeal cookies, but way better. The fact that it wasn't over the entire surface area was nice since you got bursts of sugar, but not too much. Malted Chocolate + Sea Salt Cookie: Fresh chocolate chip cookies, no matter how simple or how bougie, are a reliable favorite. I'm not quite sure what was malted about the chocolate, but it was delicious. Huge bits of chocolate that had that smooth warm out of the oven feel, though the cookie itself wasn't particularly warm, so maybe it was some ganache magic? Lots of chocolate too. House Made Banana Bread: The only ho-hum pastry I tried. Was kinda like the Starbucks kind. It was fine, good with coffee, but not wow worth. Affogato: Affogato is an espresso drink, so a great way to start the day! It just happens to be espresso poured over ice cream, but c'est la vie. Such a nice contrast between the bitter hot espresso shot and the cold creamy ice cream. They used soft serve, rather than a hard scoop like most places. This caused the ice cream to melt faster so it turned into like a milk shake real fast. Still tasty, but not the same experience as spooning a scoop of hard ice cream covered in espresso. read more
