Every once in a while, I stroll by and the aroma of the delicious powders Potato Corner uses fills the air and makes me want to buy myself some hot flavorful fries. In terms of fry quality, I never had an issue to where I needed any order remade or anything. My orders always come out hot and fresh, and you can watch the staff shake up your orders usually in their large powder shakers. The fries are toasted well with consistent flavors all around. A lot of the reasons I stop myself from ordering is if there is a large line. There can be a wait so definitely choose when to go in line as it can vary, and I always find my wait in line worth it! I walked past this little stand on the first floor so many times but never stop by to try them until tonight. My wife was shopping and I wanted a snack so I remember this store was here. I looked at their menu and knew I wanted french fries. The price is high, it's like paying amusement park prices. After looking at their menu I went to order and got the mega box, original fries with bbq flavor. While I was waiting for my fries to be ready, I saw they give free sample so when the fries were done, I asked for a sample with chili bbq flavor. I thought the chili bbq flavor is better than the regular bbq flavor. While waiting for my fries, I saw how they mix the fries with the spices. I love to mix two flavors when I order my fries, I get the Sour Cream and Barbeque mix with the straight fries. The powder mix is heavenly and I love how evenly distributed the fries are. You can see the powder mixing happening in action by the staff when you stand by the display case. You can also get some wings and get grub in that way too. The prices are affordable and I love how the fries are also piping hot from the moment they call out your order. Definitely pick and choose what time to order some fries from here, especially if you are on a rush or a time crunch. Unfortunately, there is a high chance that there'll be a long line of people waiting and your wait can end up being around 20 minutes. You can see the workers with high stress levels due to people getting visibly impatient. I see people complain but that honestly doesn't help anyone out. It took about 10-15 minutes for my order to come out, however, I still enjoyed my nice hot fresh curly fries. The chili bbq: A savory, hot kick on the curly fries, tasted even better with some ketchup. Very impolite, unprofessional greeter (name said SamanthaP on the receipt) for this location. She wasn't listening and ignored my boyfriend NUMEROUS TIMES who was asking a simple question. He ended up not buying anything because he was so turned off by her attitude. Our food came out fast (if you've ever ordered you know how long the wait can be), but was entirely bland which is weird because PC is literally known for their FLAVORED food! Haha. The two younger girls who looked like were in charge of frying put a finger up in a "I'm not listening, I'm busy, hold on" manner to the cashier when she was relaying orders because they were watching a YouTube video...????? Like, what the heck? It made you feel gross ordering from them because you're giving them money and they're literally being paid to work but they're just not giving ANY Fs. I come here often but I like my fries a certain way and for $8-10 I should be able to order a little of this seasoning and a little of that seasoning and or have it mixed. It appears my requests are annoying the fry mixer, cashier and manager, Maria. Today I came in and I asked for of two seasonings but wanted one to more than the other and the fry mixer defensively responded "I mixed them evenly" and then poured a scoop of mix over my fries and I was like, that's not appropriate. His manager told him to take my fries back and remix them. He took my fries back and poured in the bucket after I had already picked a fry or two and he added even more seasoning. Unsanitary. Thankfully I'm clean but germs are still germs. Anywho, I returned the overly seasoned fries and manager turned her nose up at me saying, "what is it now, you were complaining about the fries earlier".
