I thought I was lactose intolerant ....turns out I just need good quality dairy to enjoy my ice cream! Now, it's different for everyone I'm sure by it's worth a try. Now if anyone has heard of heavy handed burger -- sure it's tasty and the ice cream is good but it's also on a busy street and parking is terrible in Studio City. Come to Granada hills where it's a local joint, parking in the lot and the street are plentiful and it's just a better calmer experience especially if you have kids. Oh and seven better -- they have a drive thru! When your kid falls asleep in the car and you don't want to take them out, you now have a healthier option for take out! J DRIVE THRU GIVES IT EXTRA POINTS! Ambiance: casual diner-esque. Love chill atmosphere. Seating: seat yourself! Bar style or booth Service: very kind and welcoming. Love the neighborly feel of this place. Parking: free in the lot and on the surrounding streets. Food: Goldburger: double patty smash burger with garlic aoili ... Shake: cookies and cream - Strauss creamery base makes a difference here! Ice cream: Swirl: I love that it's in a sugar cone and not the generic cake cone. I also like the vanilla chocolate flavor..it has a better chocolate flavor than heavy handed in my opinion. It's worth checking out if your in the cute old Granada hills area.

My usual is a single goldburger, and sharing curly fries with my husband. They recently started selling onion rings (may be limited time), and they are phenomenal. Their ice cream is great too, and the highlight for my daughter.

I went here for a late lunch a few days ago. It wasn't busy since it was a weekday. I copped a…read moresquat at a high top table and perused the menu. The drinks looked good but I decided to save some calories and just had a glass of water. For food I started with clam chowder. I'm thinking it was a special since it was on a piece of paper on the table. It came in a bread bowl...it had lots or clams, bacon and potatoes. It was delicious. It could have been a meal with a small salad. So for my entree I had the lobster Mac and cheese. It was good as a well. Ooey gooey and seasoned nicely. I was almost full from the chowder so only at about 1/3 of it but would definitely recommend. It was my first time coming here and I'd definitely return.

Honest review…read more.... Beer options - 5/10 They were aiming for local brews but honestly, not the best options. Food - 7/10 For pub food, it's not bad but not great. Service - 5/10 I'm not sure if they were just so understaffed or what was going on. Food took forever to come out & it seemed as if there was only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant. She also had an ugly attitude. Price - 2/10 Honestly for pub food, it's way too overpriced. You're paying West Hollywood prices in the valley, probably more. I hate that each sandwich/burger is $15+ à la carte. Ridiculous! Cocktails - 2/10 Ordered an old fashioned multiple times & each time it was too heavy on the bitters. Gross! Ambiance - 6/10 It's a cool dive bar feel but the TV sound could've been on for the ball game. OVERALL - 6/10 It's way too overpriced to even want to come back. The food is mid, and just not worth the price. The beer options also are not it. Cocktails aren't great either. Probably wouldn't come back.

I just wish they spread the order out a bit, so it's not all coming out at the same time. As soon as your sushi comes out, prepare for your entire table to be filled with your order. Unfortunately, the meal was disappointing across multiple items. We started with the blue crab handroll (as shown in the picture). It had the wrong flavor and overall didn't feel fresh. Next, we ordered spicy scallop sushi, but it was not good--there was a clear "old" taste. We also tried the uni, which was very off-putting; it tasted strongly fishy and not like fresh uni should. For the spicy tuna on crispy rice, the rice was burnt, and the bottom had a greasy, burger-style residue that didn't work with the sushi--making the whole bite feel unpleasant rather than balanced. The miso soup was also extremely salty. I specifically asked for seaweed, but it never arrived. I also ordered the lemon roll. Some people describe sushi as "melting in your mouth," but in this case it felt more blended and mashed than properly prepared--disappointing in both texture and quality. By the end of the meal, I felt genuinely sick from the food. Overall, I left upset because I was really hoping for a fresh, enjoyable experience, and instead the quality and flavors were consistently off. I wouldn't recommend this visit until the ingredients and preparation are improved. The ambiance was crowded and horrible.

I had a pretty frustrating experience ordering from For The Win today, which completely defeated…read morethe purpose of ordering ahead. I placed an online order through their website, and it quoted about a 25-minute prep time with a ready window around 2:56 -3:06 PM. I planned accordingly and even arrived earlier so I could pick it up fresh and avoid waiting. However, just five minutes after placing the order, I received a text saying it was already ready. That immediately raised a red flag, because if you're paying $13+ for a double burger, you expect it to be made closer to your arrival time, not immediately. When I arrived, the burger was already cold. When I brought this up, the employee I spoke with repeatedly said "it's not my fault" and pointed to someone else, instead of taking any ownership or even acknowledging the issue. It was a really poor way to handle a simple customer concern. Eventually, after some back and forth, the burger was remade, but I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. And ironically, it took longer to make it this time than it did after I placed the online order. But then now I wa stuck waiting defeating the whole purpose of ordering ahead. A manager eventually came over and was polite, but by that point the experience had already been frustrating. They also threw away the original burger instead of offering to let me keep it, which felt wasteful. On top of that, when I asked for a couple cups of water for my daughter, I was told I'd need to purchase a bottle, which felt pretty tone-deaf given the situation and didn't even think to offer me any anything for the misunderstanding and having to wait extra time now... The bigger issue here is the lack of coordination and communication. If you're going to quote customers a pickup time, especially for hot food, the order should be made accordingly--not immediately after it's placed. Otherwise, you're guaranteeing that the food won't be fresh when the customer arrives. Between the timing issue, the lack of ownership from staff, and the overall handling of the situation, this was a disappointing experience. I usually like the food, but the service and process today really need improvement.
