Sometimes ice cream will be too sweet or too overwhelming that I can't finish it but I didn't have that problem with this ice cream. Honestly all the flavors were great! The first thing you'll notice when approaching their truck is the line of eager customers. Don't let that deter you, it moves quickly, and the wait is well worth it. I was almost surprised the wait was as short as it was. As I approached, a sweet woman greeted me with a warm smile and provided exceptional customer service. She engaged with my friends and I, showing genuine courtesy and attentiveness. I struggled to decide on a flavor, so she kindly recommended two options. She even offered samples, but I respectfully declined since my friends and she both recommended the same flavor - chocolate chip cookies and cream. Typically, I'm not an ice cream person, especially not cookies and cream. I usually prefer chocolate or coffee flavors made into milkshakes. But this flavor was definitely a surprise. The ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The texture was creamy, and the blended cookies added a delicious crunch. The cone was also outstanding. I will definitely be returning. The churros here are really good: fresh and crispy with a soft center. The ice cream is great and the nitrogen flash freezing process means it comes out consistently frozen and unmelted. Oh my, the ice cream they make at this mobile creamery is amazing. Better yet, the churros are absolute bliss! The ice cream is nitrogen churned to serve creamery. I had a cup of Tote's Vanilla ice cream made from A-grade Madagascar vanilla beans and Tahitian vanilla beans. Not only does the ice cream have a terrific natural vanilla flavor, but its texture was super dense and creamy. It's a winner! I can't say enough about the churros. They had that perfect exterior crunch, but unlike most of the ones you get south of the border, these had a super soft cake like inside, not to mention tasty too. The churros come withnDemerara sugar and Mexican cinnamon, and with a side of triple berry jam and cajeta: a Mexican dulce de leche. Great dipping that compliment the already delicious churros. BEWARE. Way overcharged at the SD Wave game. And then she gave herself a fat tip. The menu said that ice cream came in 2 scoops. I asked for 1 scoop of each flavor. She gave me 2 scoops of each flavor & NEVER asked me to sign for the charge & didn't give me a receipt. I thought it was a strange transaction so I checked my credit card charges when I got back to my seat. I was charged for $30. I went in expecting to spend $11 for 1 order of ice cream & came out with a charge for $30. Since I didn't realize the fraudulent charge until I got to my seat with twice the amount of ice cream, it wasn't worth it to go back to complain. But, beware if you ask for 2 flavors... she'll charge you double & then give herself a fat tip. Ask for a receipt; check your charges. Or else, they will steal your money. read more

Literally just finished ice cream and churro from here and it was amazing!!! The churro was insanely light and tender and the vanilla custard dip was also excellent. We got the combo that comes with two scoops and a churro, so we tried vanilla and the tres queens (chocolate). The vanilla had big pieces of vanilla bean which was a little odd but it was also impressive. The chocolate was decadent and both were very thick yet gooey so that the spoon would leave a long trail of ice cream when my kid would pull her spoon out. The ice cream was great sweet and creamy, I do wish that they had more wafers in it though. The churros are when it all went downhill. They looked good but tasted of burnt oil and had no cinnamon sugar flavoring. Me and my sister had half of one and just threw away the rest. For 8.75 for 3 this was a huge waste of money. read more

The churro was soooo bad I had to google this place to track down how I could leave a review. I was craving a churro so much! This is the most disappointing churro I have ever had the displeasure of eating. I was with a group of 6 people so we got 2 orders of 3 sticks. Everyone HATED them! Super dry! Like a very strange dry dry crumbly crunch, almost burnt tasting, and no cinnamon and sugar?! We were all vastly confused. No one even finished theirs. Worst churro of my life. Fresh churros should be crunchy on the outside (but not like theirs) and warm, soft and doughy on the inside. Theirs tasted like brunt dehydrated card board. Not sure if they were trying to make it alternative or reinvent the churro but the sign said it came with cinnamon and sugar...? It had little flecks of something on them, but again.... Didn't taste like cinnamon and sugar. Also, if you sell ice cream, AND churros.... Why not offer churros with a scoop of ices cream? Don't overly reinvent a classic, keep it simply and just make it right. read more

Freakin' wow. Let's just start with that. I walked by the truck and came back for the Totes Vanilla and Tres Queen . . . Why not try something new, right? It was a wait, and I watched the magic show as he spun the ice cream, one flavor at a time. I'm going to be honest, I was skeptical. How good can vanilla and chocolate ice cream be? Then I tasted it. Hot damn. No joke, the most delicious, smooth, creamy ice cream I've ever had. And my fat ass has eaten a lot of ice cream. I can't even describe the texture. "Smooth" doesn't do it justice. Velvety? Silky? The flavors were also beautifully rich and complex. I'm usually a throw all the candy/cookies and sprinkles in and this ice cream did not need it at all. Vanilla perfection and that chocolate, with the hint of spice? Unreal. Anyway, I'm rarely compelled to run home and create a yelp review, but this place/truck did it for me.
