When we need more Tree work done, we will only consider Potomac Tree and Shrub Care. I reached out to about 5 different tree experts regarding pruning and removal of multiple tress and Jeremy was by far the most professional and knowledgeable. He scheduled a time that I was available for the estimate instead of just calling at a random time when they were in the area. After telling him what I thought I needed done he noticed small things that I hadn't even thought about that has enhanced the look of our property. The estimate that we received was lower than all other estimates and Jeremy worked with me on a day to perform the work that was most convenient for me and my schedule. The day of service Jeremy arrived exactly when he said he would and started work right away. He was extremely carefully around our garden and fence and did an amazing job cleaning up all debris and leaving no mess or trace that we had any tree work preformed. I found this company on Yelp, like you are doing! I see that my review sounds like so many of the others for this company. Jeremy just left after completing a job (1/2 dozen huge, overgrown birch trees) in my backyard. 'Could not be more satisfied, and I tend to be particular. Whole experience--from first contact regarding an estimate to completion of job--was a pleasure and a breeze for me! I appreciate that he's an arborist who is on-site doing much of the work himself, and can educate me in the process. I also appreciate that he consulted me throughout the work regarding whether or not I'd like him to remove an extra branch or two, respecting my visual and maintenance preferences. Immaculate job site clean up. His prices are absolutely fair and I don't feel gouged at all, like with the bigger companies that likely have more overhead (not to mention in, some cases, less personalized service). I am so pleased with the customer service and quality of work that Jeremy at Potomac Tree and Shrub care provided. I had numerous requests and Jeremy was extremely prompt, willing and polite.... this type of excellent customer service rarely exists these days. I also got 3 quotes from area companies and his was the most reasonably priced. Jeremy took down a mature cherry tree from my front yard - since I was replanting in the same spot, he spent about 3 hours ensuring that he ground the stump down as far as he was able to so that I could replant in the same area. There was no debris left behind in my yard, my neighbors yard, or the street. I also had a special request to save some of the wood from another tree and he cut it up in small logs for us and piled it neatly in the yard. I have used Potomac Tree and Shrub Care on multiple occasions. Jeremy and his team are the best in the Northern VA area. Their costs are lower than all the others in the area and they have a much better focus on customer. Jeremy and his team have planted three trees in my hard and pruned all of my trees. Most recently, I had some sort of insect on my trees and shrubs. Jeremy and his team performed an application on my both my trees and bushes. Everything came back and looks great. My poor neighbors had similar insect issues and did not get an application. They will probably need to remove that tree. I have used Davey, Care of Trees, and guys that are in the neighborhood. Based on my experience with Potomac Tree and Shrub Care, I will not use any other service. They have great customer service for a great value! read more

Jeremy and his team could not have satisfied me more with their service! He removed a large tree, ground the stump, and planted a replacement tree. The work required some heavy duty equipment and skill and care in working in a confined area. The point is: Jeremy had both the equipment and skill for the job.
