When this was the Royal Garden it was our favorite Chinese Food Restaurant. Now things have gone downhill drastically. I got an order of Pork Fried Rice to go & it was just rice with a few tiny bits of pork & 1/100000000000 of an egg in it. No onion (like their photo shows), no other add ins- Boring & Bland. We went today for lunch as a break from working on our new house and are happy we live so close! We got the pupu for 2 and although it was a little pricey, the quality and amount were worth it. You get four chicken wings, which were delish! The fingers, crab rangoons, spare ribs, and beef stick were all delicious. The egg roll was a little dry. We also got the general gao's chicken with pork fried rice. The rice was amazing and the flavor of the chicken good, but a little too over-fried. Ordered for NYE so maybe not the best time to provide a review. Food was ordered with a 5 pm pickup but got there at 4:30 as I was expecting a crowd in the restaurant, but it was empty. The food was ready, so I took it home. Although the food was tasty, it was cold. I think it had to have been prepared for pickup at 1. Also, the quantity of food for the price doesn't make sense. I have tried this place three different times. The food is awful chicken fingers have a bout the size of a pencil of a chicken finger inside of it. This place is DELICIOUS. Hubby and I always passed by on the weekends and I'm so happy we finally gave it a try. We came for lunch on Saturday with our infant and they were very accommodating. I highly recommend their seafood pan fried noodles, their fried rices (try the seafood or lobster!) and their scallion pancakes. I do love that they offer some of their dishes like the creamy walnut shrimp for a 1/2 order. My husband isn't fond of this dish but it's my favorite so getting the 1/2 order was perfect for me. I have been to Green Tea a couple times for the Mandarin Chinese food and it was good. Not greasy like some others. The restaurant and bar are really nice and clean and recently renovated. So tonight I decided to order some Pad Thai for dinner. Well the Pad Thai was awful. It had egg noodles instead of rice noodles, it had ONION in it not a couple, a lot of onions. Who puts onions in Pad Thai? Who? I asked for it spicy which it was a little spicy not like others that I have had. It egg which is nothing I know it's used mostly as a filler. There was NO peanut sauce in this dish or peanuts which from what I know of the dish is one major ingredient. After a short wait me and the person who I was with got seated. They have a pretty good menu with all your appetizers, main dishes and dinner plates. I ended up with the chicken fingers, chicken wings, crab rangoon and pork fried rice. I also got a cup of their hot and sour soup to have as I was waiting for my dinner. The soup was very good and usually for me it's hit or miss with hot and sour soup. I also enjoyed the fried rice and all of the appetizers that came on my plate. I ordered the dinner plate where you get pork fried rice and then you get to pick three items from an assortment of appetizers. I don't go there as much as I did before but if Im craving the walnut shrimp or ginger and scallion lobster this is my go to spot. Food taste the same. Went there on 3-4-22. The service was HORRIBLE. The waitress was HORRIBLE. I usually go to the location in Lynn. But Decided to give this location a shot.. well I made the wrong choice. Placed our apps and drinks first, then when she bought the drinks, we placed our order. I asked for extra ketchup she got snippy with me. Then I notice she & another waitress where bringing our food. & placed it on the wrong table!!! Luckily I notice.
