Fun day and I'm so happy to have great memories with my mom here this week. Beautiful and do many things to see and but. Cafe was and the entire serenity of this location can't be described.

Prime dip was delicious...garden salad was ok...I am pretty sure they gave me iceberg lettuce, not romaine lettuce though.

Beautiful place inside and outside. Can't believe it was my first time! The Prime Dip was great and very filling. The fresh brewed iced tea really hit the spot for me and I loved that my server kept refilling my glass on her own. :)

Valentine's Day brunch for my husband and I. Our server, Sara was very sweet and efficient. We started with Mochas. Love the ambiance, so fun checking out all the decor in the restaurant and in the way in. When it's warmer it will be lovely to sit outside and listen to all the water features. I had the Valentine special biscuit & gravy with eggs. My husband had the veggie Benedict. Both our meals were delicious. And we had leftovers for breakfast the next day.

My 2nd visit. Love the service food and ambience. Yes the place caters to grandmas and the people who love them. Healthy menu choices. My Thai salad was spicy. The chicken breast portion was big. All satisfying. Well done!

This is my go to brunch spot in the area for obvious reasons! The service is super friendly and the food comes out really fast considering how busy they are. I came on a Thursday early afternoon and there was around a 40 minute wait. It's inside a pottery store so time goes by pretty fast since there's a lot of things to look at. Their desserts are so delicious such as the carrot cake and tiramisu! Highly recommend getting it after a delicious meal here.

We visit often as the service and menu is always great!! Today was no exception we arrived around noon and was promptly sat outside (our choice) plenty of seating inside too. They have quite a few outdoor heaters so the patio area is lovely. Breakfast is served until 11am so we were there for lunch! Service is always great too!

The Pottery World Café is a wonderful spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch in Rocklin. It's housed within the Pottery World store and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. This was my first visit and I'm already planning a return trip. My friend and I arrived on a Saturday morning around 9:15am and were easily able to find parking in the rear parking lot, which is closest to the entrance to the Café. You need to walk through the store to get to the Café entrance. We were quickly seated and provided with beverages. Once we ordered our food, it came out very quickly and was delicious. The service was also attentive and friendly. I had an excellent chocolate scone, which was warm, and I slathered it with butter. Delish! My zesty scramble had a bit of a spicy kick, which I enjoyed. The portion was large enough that I could make it into two meals. My friend loved her breakfast burrito, which is an entrée that she tries whenever she can find it on a restaurant menu. This one did not disappoint. She also had a side of bacon and commented that she received a lot of bacon. I told her that you can NEVER have too much bacon. The coffee is from Vaneli's, a local Rocklin company. We had a great breakfast and want to return soon for lunch. As someone who lives in Sacramento, it is definitely worth the drive to Rocklin to visit Pottery World Café. After the meal, we perused the store and all of its wonderful furniture, clothing, and home decor items. It was a fun morning.

This is THE place for amazing sandwiches! Coming here the day before a holiday we were certain it would be packed, as usual, sometimes with an hour wait or more. Parking in our secret spot off-site we didn't want to deal with the typical chaos of the over crowded parking lot. To our amazement there were open parking spaces everywhere! Getting to the restaurant entry we were prepared for a wait and time to peruse the store's merchandise. Lo and behold there were many tables available! What a surprise for a restaurant that's typically crowded. Why? The food, and in particular, amazing sandwiches. Having an out of town guest we knew this place would be a hit, and certainly it was. Sitting outside the weather was ideal. Service was friendly and professional as always. I ordered a grilled salmon sandwich with a side salad w/vinegarette dressing. There are options for a side. I had this with an iced tea. The sandwich was exceptional and the salad equally so. The salmon was perfectly grilled with a delicious aioli and dressing. The salad was fresh and full of greens, tomatoes, large colorful radishes, etc. The portions are enormous. Whenever I have a need for a great sandwich I'll do my best to get in here!

Once again, a great experience here. The service was terrific. Our server was very busy with many tables and handled everything with ease and care. It was a busy morning with many full tables. The noise level wasn't even a remote hindrance to conversation. The Fancy Toast was as delicious as it was during my last visit here. Hubby had the breakfast burrito which was tasty as well. The salsa is house made and good. His only complaint was that the burrito had way too many potatoes in it. You can see in the pic we took that is in fact the case. The salsa and flavor helped to make up for it, but it fell short of some of the better breakfast burritos we have had due to the ratio of potatoes to the other filling. I would def go back. Hubby is on the fence.

Wonderful little restaurant tucked far back into the corner of a large five star pottery shop. You have to drive around back and wander past the fountains, but it's worth exploring. Great service, excellent food, really nice things to look at. The staff were wonderful.

My wife and I had heard about this place from friends. We happen to be in the area and my wife suggested we check it out. It had been a while since she and I had a chance to be out on our own, so we checked it out and boy were we glad we did. After parking, we walked through several displays of beautiful fountains before finally reaching the entrance to the store and eventually to the café. We were greeted with smiles and warmth and seated almost immediately. We came during the lunch hours and we came on a Sunday so the place wasn't as busy as it could've been. Our server, Isla (hopefully not butchering that spelling) greeted us with a wonderful smile and friendly service. She explained all the items to us that we had questions about, and made sure to check on us often. The service here is second to none. My wife and I enjoyed fancy toast, the lentil soup, a few hot drinks, and a warmed up chocolate chip cookie. This entire experience was the healing that we needed after a very long week of work, and after missing our loved ones who spent the weekend with us. Every bite of the fancy toast was delicious and I could not stop eating the lentil soup even after we received our entrées. To top it all off, eating at this café was like being transported to a different country that I have only seen on social media or read about in books. The area is so nice! After my wife and I enjoyed our meal, we perused the store and made mental lists of the things we want to purchase in the very near future. I'm very happy we were able to dine in and enjoy this much-needed break with delicious food and great service!

Muted tones and classic ambience! Top that with excellent quality food and service. My absolute favorite is the Asian chicken salad! Fresh, crispy, and delicious! Spicy dressing that makes this dish stand out from any others! Huge sandwiches with excellent daily soup selections capture the best of all 'lunch worlds'. Add the lovely patio (with misters & live music most weekends) to the list to complete this 5 star experience! Great shopping makes it a 6!

The food was delicious! Service was so fast, even though they were busy. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and well organized. Highly recommend!

I don't recall the name of our server. However, he started by explaining the drink specials. We don't normally order cocktails, but it was recommended. The bartender made a custom mocktail for my wife that she said he knocked out of the park! Mine was cool and refreshing. He suggested the Soup de Saison. Since it was 90 degrees outside, it was a cool cucumber soup. Not my go to, but we wanted to try different things. Another home run! Then we split the halibut and the star of the night, the blistered peppers. Since it is a seasonal menu, the peppers are not always there. They were flavorful, with the right amount of umami. I would go back just for them. We also had a great conversation with our neighbors, as the small tables are close together. We will be back.

We dined here for our first time yesterday, and I can't believe it took us this long to finally try it out. We had reservations for 7:30pm and arrived a bit early. We were offered to have drinks at the bar which we happily obliged. We don't recall the name of the lady who made our drinks, but she was great and clearly is top notch at her craft. My wife got the White Lotus and I had the Thai NAgarita (adult non alcoholic). My wife absolutely LOVED her drink and I also did. We were seated shortly after getting our drinks and seamlessly moved us to our table. Our server was great, again drawing a blank on her name. We ended up getting the Soup de Saison which was a creamy potato soup, sorry for my lack of ability to explain it correctly. It was absolutely phenomenal. Being able to take a soup as simple as potato and make it have the flavor it did blew our minds. We also got the Fava Bean Dip which comes with two pita bread. This dish was fantastic. We would order both again and again, but will have to try other Starters next time because we know everything will be amazing. For our entrees my wife ordered the English Pea Vareniki and I the Pan Roasted Alaskan Halibut. We both were extremely happy with our dishes. I tried the Vareniki and it was delicious. Again, we would both order these over and over. Mind blown. For dessert we got the Tarte Au Citron and also the special which was a Strawberry Pavlova. The Tarte was absolutely delicious and would get it again and again. The Strawberry Pavlova was hands down the best dessert dish we have ever had in our lives. We do love strawberries so that helps, but everything about it was out of this world. If it is available when we go, we will order it every time. Overall an amazing experience and loved the ambiance and old building feel. Definitely an Auburn vibe which we love. I have seen a lot of complaints about the noise, but once again, those are people I don't care to be around. It is sort of a smaller restaurant with people having a good time, so if you are people who are snotty and complain about some noise and others talking and laughing enjoying themselves, don't come here. Well done Restaurant Josephine. Absolutely phenomenal!

The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.

I've never had a server spill on me twice during the same meal--and after the second spill, she handed me a towel to clean myself up. There was little acknowledgment or accountability, which made an already awkward situation even more disappointing. We also ordered the Mimosa Flight Bouquet, but none of the flavors were identified when it arrived. We were left guessing which mimosa was which, which took away from what should have been a fun experience. I initially ordered the roasted rosemary potatoes, but they were undercooked and overloaded with large slices of bell peppers and onions. I decided to order something else, but then the waitress forgot to bring the juice that accompanies the mimosa. She brought the champagne, but no juice. We reminded her, and it still took additional time to receive it. Overall, the food was just okay. Out of our party of six: * The El Dorado omelet was good, although it was served warm rather than hot. * The bacon and ham skillet was enjoyed. * The chorizo maple skillet reminded me of a McDonald's breakfast with eggs--not something I'd order again. Everyone has an off day, and mistakes happen. What made this experience disappointing was the lack of communication, ownership, and effort to make things right. I hope this was just an isolated experience because the restaurant has potential.
