Its been 4 years since my last review so it is time for an update! This is located in Sun City and open to the public but we only ever come here when we visit my in-laws only because I never really think about coming here otherwise. We both got a sandwich that came with fries. All ingredients tasted fresh and I like their fries with a crunchy coating. Service was friendly and they are mildly busy. The place is open, quiet, clean and conservative of course. White table cloths. They do have specials like Prime Rib night for $30 and saw that they are advertising for an AYCE Octoberfest menu that I wouldn't mind trying. I only ding a star because the prices are higher than expected but not over an average sit down restaurant so expect $25 pp for breakfast/lunch if you get a drink.

Tasty and filling sandwich.

Great lunch here that was delicious and served by such friendly wait staff! I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with salad and loved it. Nice big restaurant with views of the golf course. I'd absolutely come back again if visiting the area.

Prime rib with fresh vegetables and a baked potato w all the fixings

I would happily give Timber 8 or 9 stars!! The atmosphere is elegant yet clean and comfortable.. The food was excellent- last night was Prime Rib night and it was PACKED! YET- the food came out hot and good and the service was THE BEST! Thankyou PAUL for your service- and the other young lads too were spot on! So busy yet such great service!! Definitely will be back! Very impressed and feel fortunate that we can dine here even tho we don't live here (at least not yet lol) PS the prices are very very reasonable!!

Favorite go to in the neighborhood, everything on the very traditional menu is good and a good price. The restaurant is casual and comfortable. The bar side is where the community congregates and it's always busy in there. The staff is friendly and welcoming and they take the time to chit chat with you which is pretty great.

This is a group of Roseville SunCity residents getting together for lunch.

Unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing this time around. The menu changed a bit and they no longer serve the shrimp tempura and the salmon entrees. Overall, the food was good but not memorable. The dessert was average. The restaurant strived for an upscale vibe backed by the menu price but was unfortunately not by the service. Our server seems a bit scattered and indifferent. One of our guest ordered a pour and a half of a red wine and got a half pour portion. Our little one wanted filet mignon but didn't really care for the sides that come with the entree. So the server told us they can do just the protein and it will be about $27 for the plate to which we were ok with. The food came out as a full entree with the sides. When questioned, the server was non- apologetic. Our little tyke ended up with the most expensive item on the bill at $55! Sad to say that after our meal, we unanimously decided this restaurant will be off our list.

This is the first time in a loonngg time that we decided to visit it one more time cause we know it's been renovated 7-8 yrs ago i think? We reserved a suite room and celebrated my and husband's birthday weekend. After dinner, we just had our pregame in our room to save $ on drinks before we headed to the lounge. The place was a lot better than the old one since it looks more spacious. It was not crowded for a Saturday night and that was really great. There's a few tables and seats downstairs but we preferred going upstairs and that's where we stayed. Only 2 of the 4 sofas/tables were occupied so that was really good. They play all kinds of music and I like the dj coz he knows what he's doing with mixing and playing good ones. However, the downside being upstairs is that noone or any of the staff will go there to ask for your order. You have to go down and get them yourself. Also, I noticed that they don't set rules for dress code anymore even though it says on the website. You see people with just shorts, shirts and sleepers and/or sandals on. So it was kind of a turn-off for me. They should require people dressed accordingly before they let them in. I don't mind to also pay an entrance fee ($10-15) This way they can preserve the place with class and elegance somehow. Just my thoughts.

It's convenient that there is also a bathroom up there. Came here on a Saturday night. No IDs checked prior to entry. No cover fee. The place was packed! On their website, there was a dress code. When we got there, almost everyone is in normal clothing attire. We were unaware that you could literally wear anything! If you are in a group, even if you are not going to drink or get a drink, the bartender will literally deny your group purchase of alcohol if everyone do not show their ID. You'd literally have to step away from your group, just so they can buy their drinks. Find this really interesting. The music was nice at the beginning of the night but at the end of the night, mainly EDM.

Caden greeted us with great hospitality, made sure we were settled in before we golfed, and continued to check on us and help us. I would definitely want to continue coming to Waymaker as long as he is there - our other experiences were not nearly as good without him. Previously, others would not be quick to greet us (we waited nearly 15 minutes once just to get checked in due to the front desk person on their phone at the bar, not even knowing they were a worker). Golf simulator was fun, with plenty of options, such as range, courses, and games. Plenty of selections for drinks as well, including beer, wine, and mixed drinks. We love the sushi and other food options as well. They occasionally have live music and play various sporting events, which helps with them being kid friendly (we bring our 2 year old). We arrived with a 7:15 reservation, and our table wasn't ready for about 15 minutes. Since we needed to leave by 8:40 we asked before being seated whether there would be enough time to dine, and we were assured there would be. Once seated, we were again told timing would be fine as long as we ordered immediately, which we did. However, there was apparently a shortage of clean silverware available for about 20 minutes, and we didn't receive water until roughly 25 minutes after sitting down. We were also never served bread. We ordered beer and wine at the same time as our food order, shortly after being seated, but by 8:30 we still had not received drinks or any food. Concerned about making it home on time, we asked for the bill and our meals to be packed to go, but the food never arrived. The waiter eventually came to our table and ripped up the receipt. We ultimately left at 8:40 without ever receiving dinner or the drinks we ordered at the beginning of the meal. Many nearby tables appeared to be having similar experiences, and staff were managing multiple frustrated guests, along with tables that had not been served food or drinks, or orders that came out incorrectly. Again, the issue did not seem to be the waitstaff themselves, but the overall extreme delay in getting any drinks and food, which should not take over an hour. It seems they were underprepared and understaffed. I would not recommend for dinner or for any special occasions.
