When I told my server that it was missing 4 of the ingredients described on the menu I was told that the manager said there was nothing they could do. So my cousin lives in Roseville and we picked this place to go eat lunch. But I didn't know about all the pottery, furniture, clothes, and jewelry. Great place and they had music outside done by two women and they were really good. I messed up and didn't take any pictures. Great waitress, amazing food... but the man that works at the front is rude and horrible. We brought 12 seniors to eat lunch. He refused to even let us sit until they had poured the water. Further more we came in before our name was called and he was very rude and aggressive. When leaving, one of our seniors was speaking to another table and being friendly, he told her to keep walking! He also tried to tell us how to seat our residents. He obviously can't handle any kind of stress and needs to be fired immediately. Awesome hidden Gem! Finally made it in and the food was EXCEPTIONAL!!! Everything was good!! I ordered the french dip $17.95 with my side of spinach salad it came with candied cranberries a perfect balsamic type of dressing and feta cheese with walnuts it was delicious. My sister ordered the Asian Salad $15.95 and left NOTHING on her plate, just the memory of what was there. I also ordered a Sauvignon Blanc $10 and she ordered an OJ and dessert was a german chocolate cake with two cappucinos all was amazing! Bonus we had an actual menu and not scanning a QR Code. What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is delightful, the service was beyond perfect and the food is more than you could ever expect. The presentation was spot on as was the flavor. Well if it was not for my cousin telling me about this nice place, I would not have even experienced this venue. Being from the SF Bay area does not bring me out here much, but the family does and now I will return to this gem again. I found the ambiance to be very drawing, with choices to dine inside or out, it is a place that gives you that festive type of vibe. The menu you have many great choices to select from. I opted that late morning to pick the Two Egg Breakfast. It was served with grilled potatoes, those were ok, and had some applewood bacon and opted for no bread, and they gave me a small garnish or grapes and 1 half slice strawberry a bit disappointing. Next time I will order what my cousin did which was the 3 item Omelette which she loved. I would also be open to trying another plate. First time trying their salads although $$ everything was crispy and fresh like it's suppose to be, give them a try.

We arrived around 10:30 but weren't seated until about 30 minutes later. There appeared to be a lot of tables open, so maybe they were just short staffed. Since we weren't seated for a while, we missed the breakfast cutoff at 11am and had to order off of the lunch menu. The menu is pretty standard cafe fare - soups, salads, sandwiches. I ordered the spinach artichoke quiche, which comes with a side of your choice, so I chose the crab corn chowder. The food took a little while to come out, so we didn't eat until noon. The quiche needed some kind of salt or seasoning, but luckily the crab corn chowder was pretty flavorful. The cafe is hidden within the middle of the store, so it's convenient if there are tables open and you need a bite to eat after shopping around the large store, but unfortunately it just wasn't quite enough for me to want to come back. read more

It was worth the wait for the outside views etc. We ordered a Patty Melt with lentil soup, a chicken BLAT with salad, and a Salad Sampler that incl. potato salad and a Cesar Salad and Boston Clam Chowder. Also ordered two desserts an ice tea, and an expresso. The patty melt was yummy - caramelized onions with a melted slice of cheese on a rye type bread, the 1/2 lb burger was cooked perfectly, the soup was actually a vege soup with some lentils in it - served warm (sent it back to be reheated). The salad sampler was a complete bore, the cesar was just lettuce some shavings of cheese but to lite on the dressing, the chowder was also lukewarm and had to be reheated. The BLAT sandwich was okay, missing something to take it over the top. Even thou the service was good, we had to constantly ask for this and that throughout our meal. The place has a lot of atmosphere, but the step up in the cost of the meal also reflects the demand. My review is about the service. In the cafe it was very good, but my review is about Mary, who works in the store. My husband is a diabetic. He was having a reaction that was causing him to shake. He thought he was going to fall. Mary saw that something was wrong and came right over. She went to get a wheelchair. She wheeled him to the cafe entrance. She put our name in for us and said it would be a half hour wait. She brought us water. She checked back with us in half an hour. She said it would be another 10 minutes. She came back and wheeled Bruce to a table. When we were done with lunch, Mary came with another gal who was pushing Bruce's walker. Mary took Bruce to our car and helped him in. My first time experiencing this wonderful cafe ! I can't believe it was inside of Pottery World, which has amazing shopping from fountains, home decor , etc. Now back to the cafe, we walked inside and were greeted by a lovely hostess, they had indoor and outdoor seating which was very spacious . All the protocols for COVID safety was enforced so that was nice. I started off with a mimosa of course since it was Sunday brunch haha, followed with a Asparagus Frittata, with roasted potatoes, and a fresh English muffin. This was incredibly tasty and the food was served hot, the hostess made sure we had everything we needed and checked back with us in between just to make sure our food was good. All in all I'd say if you are in the area and want to shop and grab a bite this is a great place to stop at , the menu also has lunch with a good variety of food. Then a few years back we DID need pots when we moved into our home in Loomis and thought to stop here. Holy moly! They should consider changing their name because I don't think anyone really knows that inside is an entire Mall plus this cafe- which is why I'm here to leave the review.... We've made a routine of coming here for a light lunch and wine before our flights to where ever. The food is fresh, with a unique spin on anything you order. Came here based off the reviews and what my bff told me about it. So I decided to take my father some where nice. First off we came during lunch hour during the week I assumed it wouldn't be that busy but it was I was directed to park in a different parking lot by the rude parking attendant. Luckily my dad noticed several spots in the back and told him to allow me to park there. We were seated after a 30 min wait, I was happy my dad showed up earlier than I did could have been a 1 hr wait easily. Our waitress lacked service skills she didn't give us any drinks for at least 10 mins after we were seated, no refills and when food was given we asked several times for items we had to keep reiterating to multiple staff as they walked by. Busy or not, just seemed like they didn't pay attention to ppl who were a party of 2. The establishment only allows for certain amount of time to eat to help move customers in and out, which I find kinda of odd but understand it's a small establishment. For years I've been hearing rave reviews of Pottery World Cafe, located inside the Pottery World store in Rocklin, CA, but due to "so many things to do" I had just never got around to paying a visit to this fine restaurant. Mid morning, November 06, 2020, it all changed, as I was able to enjoy breakfast at this fine cafe, and now I'm a believer in the fine cuisine Pottery World Cafe is noted for. Pottery World sells fountains, furniture, knick knacks, patio accessories and lots of... well... pottery. The cafe is located in the main showroom, and features what I consider to be the most elegant patio dining that I've had the pleasure to enjoy in Placer County. To enter the cafe, you get a tour of the showroom, past many upscale accessories, sets of furniture, lamps, pictures, pottery, and much more. You'll see the entrance marked "Cafe," and you know you're ready to enjoy some fine dining. As you enter the restaurant, you'll be greeted by one of the friendly staff members, who will meet you, greet you, and seat you. The dining room is elegant, but since today was a beautiful, sunny 60-degree morning, I chose to sit outside, on the inviting patio. The dining room is simply elegant, and is reminiscent of a mountain chalet or a ski lodge, complete with stone decorating the walls, wood paneling, elegant chandeliers, and lots of windows, which allow for natural lighting. A floor-to-ceiling window looks out to the patio, and the attractive courtyard. You have to sit on the patio to believe it, as the patio at Pottery World Cafe is simply elegant! It's shaded, protected from the elements, spotlessly clean, and looks out into the courtyard, where Pottery World displays fountains, patio furniture, pottery, and much more. There are large stand-up propane heaters for chilly days, but they weren't needed on this beautiful late morning, in early November of 2020. As of this writing, Pottery World Cafe has the nicest patio that I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy, during my 20+ years of dining in western Placer County restaurants. From the "Breakfast Menu," I went with the "Two Egg Breakfast," with a slice of ham as the main entree. You order your eggs cooked to order, meat choices include ham, Applewood bacon or sausage, and you choose from all common varieties of toast, or an English muffin. Potatoes are served grilled, as hash brown potatoes aren't offered on the menu. Pottery World Cafe is not a diner! My breakfast started out with a modest slice of ham, but what it may lacked in sheer size, it made of in taste, as the ham was tender, juicy, flavorful and NOT salty! My slice of ham was grilled, not fried, with made it taste even better. The trademark of a great chef is when you order your eggs cooked over easy, they arrive over easy, as ordered. My eggs were cooked perfectly as ordered, so I know the chef at Pottery World Cafe has talent. As the menu states, the potatoes were grilled, not fried. The potatoes were diced, red potatoes, with the skin left on, lightly seasoned, coated with olive oil, and grilled perfectly to a golden brown. As an added bonus, the potatoes had grilled slivers of white onion, along with red and green bell pepper, for enhanced flavor. Look at the toast... how long has it been since you've seen sourdough toast as thick as Texas, toasted AND grilled, complete with grill marks? I've never been served toast such as this during my years of dining in the greater Roseville area... the toast reminded me of "Texas toast," and it was definitely "Texas delicious!" It was a little after 10 o'clock on this Friday morning, so I decided to round out my breakfast with a 15-oz glass of "Vindicator IPA," locally brewed by Loomis Basin Brewing Co, located in nearby Loomis, just a few miles to the east of Rocklin. My friendly hostess, Barbara, brought me a complimentary "Cranberry Scone," along with butter and cranberry jam, and said "You can't leave Pottery World without trying one of our scones." I confess, I really don't have a "sweet tooth," and I normally avoid pastries of any type, but since Barbara was kind enough to give me a scone, on the house, it was time for me to enjoy all the goodness. The scone, along with the smooth butter and the tangy cranberry jam was delicious! The outside was sugar coated and sweet, but not too sweet. When you bit into the scone, you got a satisfying "crunch" from the outside, and a little crunchiness from the diced cranberries, but the inside was soft and tender. This scone, along with the butter and jam, was delicious, and made a believer out of me! Thank you, Barbara! The dining at Pottery World Cafe is simply amazing! I can't remember when I've dined on a more pleasant patio, and able to enjoy the simply amazing atmosphere found at Pottery World Cafe, while enjoying a delicious breakfast.
