We used Poulos Moving Systems in May of 2024. Pete met with us through FaceTime because we were out of the area and moving back into the area and he gave us a quote after a virtual walkthrough of the stuff we were moving. He accommodated us with two weeks until our moving date and we had Immanuel, David, Jaime, and Chris show up on moving day. They packed what remained in the house and were done in one day. The following day they met us first thing in the morning at our new house and used a carpet rather than walking on the clean floors and put everything in the appropriate rooms for us and helped shift things so that we didn't have to do any of the heavy lifting. This is the second time we have used their services and both times have been an extraordinarily positive experience and they help take the stress out of the move. Given the price of moving supplies and fuel, it was more than worth it to move everything in one trip instead of going back and forth on a five hour round trip. After five or six months, we called and they came and picked up all of the boxes and moving supplies (included with standard fees) so that we didn't have to pay to haul them away. If we ever move again, we will go back to them without a doubt. We highly recommend them and their staff. read more

We moved from a 2200 sq ft house to a 800 sq ft apartment, then after 6 months put the apartment stuff with the rest of the stuff we had in storage We called Pete who gave us a very resonable estimate of price and time frame. The truck arrived at the time appointed, things got packed up in the truck at a very effecient time frame, considering 1/2 the stuff was going into storage before going to the apartment. Efficiency is the key word here - because of it, the very friendly, hard working staff that Pete has made the move simple. Things were stored in storage, then taken to the apartment, unloaded and set up just the way I wanted in less thime than was quoted, so the payment was less than we expected AND nothing was damaged (as things had been when we've moved in the past). We were so happy with this move when we needed to put everything in storage from the apartment, we didn't hesitate to recall Pete for this move. There is no question that when we come back from our year long trip, we will call Pete to move us out of the storage and into a new place. Pete and his partner arrived right on time with a smile and immediately put us at ease. They were friendly, thoughtful, and really understood how stressful moving can be. They kept reassuring us that everything was manageable, and they proved it by getting our entire place cleared in under an hour! They handled the heavy, awkward pieces we never could've managed ourselves, the couch, dresser, kitchen table, navigating the stairs like it was nothing, all while keeping the mood light with jokes and laughter. Even a little rain didn't slow them down; everything stayed dry and undamaged. They went above and beyond by leaving us extra boxes, tape, and packing paper for the remaining small items. It truly felt like a weight lifted off our shoulders (pun intended) having movers who were not only skilled but genuinely cared about making the experience easier for us. Had to move my mother-in-law to Oregon from California. Contacted Pete and he was able to put together the move inside of a week. Although it was a small move, it was a tough time of year as it was first week of Jan and loading would have to occur right after xmas. Pete and his people did a great job orchestrating the logistics and loading. Despite a snowstorm that closed a major highway into Oregon, he got everything there on time and at the price he quoted. No additional surprise charges. Delivery and setup was done within an hour and a half and went like clockwork. My mother-in-law was very pleased. His price was much more reasonable than all the national companies I checked. Pete and his people were very professional, always responded to my calls and communicated very well. We recently moved from Los Angeles to Monterey, California. We couldn't afford to have a company move us so we decided to have a company on each end pack and unpack our truck respectively. We were lucky to come across Poulos Moving System. Peter Poulos, owner, is a true professional with a great attitude. Contacting and setting up the time for the move-in was easy. The day of the move-in him and his staff came in prepared. They unloaded the truck (with ton of heavy furniture) and hauled it up. At the end, (because they worked so hard) they stayed and helped us assemble the bed and the couch (they unloaded much faster than the 2hr limit -- which is what took Delacey to load in L.A.) My moving crew members were Brian and Andrew. The crew arrived as scheduled. Both Brian and Andrew were friendly, professional and courteous. Let me tell you, these guys are very hard workers. They wrapped EVERYTHING in furniture pads and cared for my things as if they were their own. I have a lot of glass furniture. I moved from Salinas to Gilroy and the total cost was about $150 less than the original estimate, which was done by the owner Pete Poulos. Needless to say, I absolutely recommend this company to anyone who wants someone who will make sure all of your things arrive in the same condition they were before the move. Brian was AMAZING!! i don't even know where to start!!! from the moment he arrived with our stuff to the second he left, he was MORE than nice and welcoming. he was extremely respectful, referring to me and my husband as "Mr and Mrs" the ENTIRE time. he was extremely aware of his surroundings, making sure he didn't hit anything in the house and succeeded in making sure all of our belongings were in perfect shape and put exactly where we wanted with no issue or complaints. he has the BEST attitude anyone would ever want in their house and he exceeded all of our expectations. we could never ask for a better mover/helper with all of our precious belongings. They came on time from the Central Coast area to the East Bay with smiles on their faces ready to get right to work. Immediately upon load-out, I was pleasantly surprised to hear directly from Brian, the driver, with updates during transit and expected to-the-minute arrival times. They came in under the bid, and worked fast despite the fact that they were paid by the hour. Nothing was broken.
