We decided to try the Pour House Grill for dinner and thankfully they were pretty empty for dinner since we had a large party. We were seated immediately and got out within an hour and a half. I got the Rueben because others in my party have tried it and enjoyed it. I also wanted to try the pesto chicken Mac and cheese but ended up accidentally ordering the chicken parm Mac and cheese. Those dishes are loaded and complete meals!the Reuben was good especially with the garlic fries. The chicken parm Mac and cheese was ok but we also got the jambalaya Mac and cheese and that was pretty good. The pizza for kids was a nice size and both my kids enjoyed it. I also tried the chopped salad which was ok nothing special. Service was good and they got the food out to us without much of a wait. But it was also pretty empty and we were in the bar section. Parking in the lot was good too since they weren't busy. The interior felt like a fast food chain restaurant. They had big spaces for large parties which was nice. I would recommend the Reuben since it was my favorite and made with pastrami. The jambalaya Mac and cheese was also great! read more

Oblivion Pour House is one of our Bend favorites. The classic mac & cheese is the best in town. Rich, creamy, and exactly how mac should be. We also love their Detroit-style pizza with those crispy edges and layers of cheese and toppings done right. My husband is all about the wings and nachos, which never disappoint. It's the kind of place where you can come hungry, share plates, and always leave happy. Super kid friendly. Loads on TVs and such a rad sports bar. We were traveling and we wanted to watch a Mariner game, so we found this sports bar close to our RV park. Our server was very friendly and the food was good with large portions. Wasn't super-hungry. But I ate all the food served. The sign said "seat yourself", so I chose a booth in the corner and was quickly greeted by Miranda, who let me know that it was trivia night and asked if I was here for that. I ordered the spicy BBQ meatloaf with two sides - salad and fries. Pretty simple, right? But all three were amazing. The very cold salad had diced tomatoes, shredded carrots, red and yellow bell peppers and sliced cucumbers. The Italian dressing was served in a cup, I poured it all on. The epitome of Italian dressing. The meatloaf had just the right mix of whatever was in it. I couldn't stop eating it. Served with a layer of bbq sauce on it, a wonderful addition. The fries were hot and seasoned with something equally enticing. I have no clue, except I kept shoving them in my mouth. I'm not a huge beer fan, but they had two pilsners on the menu. Nothing fancy to see here, just get yourself a menu and get ready to order. Location: Tons of parking near outlet mall which is not that great but awesome parking. Buildout: Having been several restaurants over the years, it has morphed into a pretty neat locals sports bar kind of place with the same layout. Menu: Great options, maybe a few healthy choices but mostly sports bar kind of stuff. Food Prep: Like a boss, food on a plate, warm, void of fur and moving things, and nothing foo-foo fancy here. Libations: Done right priced right. Food quality: Did I say again the chicken strip tender things were beyond great. Other food is pretty good as well. We've had breakfast and lunch here a few times and it is good for what it is. If you're looking for fancy and overpriced there are a lot of those options near by. Waitstaff: Wow, awesome... and I have seen the good, bad , and real life view of running a restaurant/bar in a city with labor problems in this industry. HEY BE UNDERSTANDING. One morning there was a greeter, seater, bartender, and waitress all in the same person doing his absolute best on his second day of work here. This bar has two sides to it. The populated side has lots of TVs and as a result very loud. We couldn't find a seat at the bar so decided to go to the other side where it was quieter. They had a bar- YAY! But, the male bartender (could be a very cool dude) was ready to get off his shift so lackluster attention and didn't get our drinks till 20 mins after we got there. I asked for a So Co and Ginger and the guy came back and said "sorry they were out". I asked if they had coke products- he said "yes, in a can" so I ordered a double jack and coke in a short. The husband got a beer so it was simple. My drink came in a tall glass- towards the end of the meal I asked the new server if it was coke and she admitted it was not. OK. The husband got some Club burger which he said was great and I have no doubt since he ate all of it; I asked for a BLT- lots of bacon (yum) but not much lettuce or tomato. I also got the cole slaw instead of the fries- it tasted nothing like cole slaw (I'm from the south east). The sandwich was on white bread not toasted. I'm rating them down because the service was just really bad- the drinks were wrong, and it was just too long to wait for average bar fare. (I found out the manager took both drinks off my bill, so that was nice). I wouldn't recommend this place and won't go back. We are new to the area and trying out stuff every week and this won't make the rotation. One bright spot: Kudos to the manager who was off duty and finalized our ticket when our two other servers didn't. I think they were short staffed which really isn't my problem, but I understand. Probably shouldn't have let so many people go at 4 PM on a busy Saturday game day. And definitely shouldn't have them sit at the bar while their customers are still waiting for their own service. read more

The food at Poorhouse Grill was amazing. Absolutely no complaints there. Everything we ordered tasted great, and that's honestly the only positive part of this experience. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our visit. We came here around 7:00 PM to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday. Our group was small and relaxed, just myself, my sister, my niece, and my brother-in-law. We were there to enjoy good food and spend time together, not rush through a meal. From the start, it felt like our server was trying to push us out the door. I wasn't even a quarter of the way finished with my food when she brought out to-go boxes and asked if we wanted the check. She repeatedly interrupted our conversations while we were still actively eating, which made the entire experience uncomfortable and rushed. What made this even more frustrating is that the restaurant was mostly empty. There was plenty of open seating, and it was nowhere near closing time. The restaurant closes at 9:00 PM, and we were there for less than an hour total, including ordering and waiting for our food. There was absolutely no reason to rush us out. I've never had a server make me feel so unwelcome. Being handed to-go boxes while you are still eating is not good service. Servers should allow guests to finish their meals and conversations naturally instead of assuming they want to leave. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. It's a shame, because the food was great, but the service was so bad that it completely overshadowed everything else. read more

Went here for lunch with a friend. Haven't been here for six years because the service was so lousy back then. Today, the service was fine, but the food! I ordered tacos with pablano sauce. They arrived with no sauce. When I told my waitress about it, she said, oh, they must have put it on lightly. I'll bring you some more. She came back with about 1/4 teaspoon and said they ran out but the cook is making more. Never did get any. If I had known they were out of sauce I would have ordered something different. One of our favorite places for beers and good food! BEST macaroni and cheese anywhere. My favorite is the barbecue Mac with brisket. My wife likes their salads. Good selection of their (Oblivion) beers, they used to feature them at a special price ($5) but that seems to have gone away since our last visit. The bartender was very loud even when using profanity, which ain't cool in a family friendly place. Those things along with the mediocre service we received last time makes this a 4 star, rather than 5 but we'll be back and maybe have to update in the future. read more

The Pour House has always been a favorite of me and my family. Whenever we go out to dinner, this is where we land 99% of the time. However, the last few times we've gone, customer service hasn't been great. Specifically, when a party of 2 shows up and is told the wait will be about 10-15 minutes, that is fair. However, when a party of 4 comes in about 10 minutes behind us (the party of 2) and they wait only a few minutes and then are sat immediately, that is extremely frustrating. So, if I would have said party of 4 they would have sat us immediately? Horrible customer service. Regardless, the party of 2 will take a space for a party of 4 since they don't have tables meant for 2. There could be a different reasoning behind this, but the optics are bad. At least communicate it to us (the party of 2)!!! We ended up waiting an additional 10 minutes LONGER after they sat the party of 4 who came in AFTER us. Horrible customer service. Also, the smoked French dip is amazing!!! However, the last few times I've ordered it, it's not smoked. I've had the real smoked French dip from there plenty of times over the last 10 years, so I do know the difference. Just an FYI. Still very good though. This little gem was right next to our hotel in Bend. We walked there so we could enjoy some beers and some food! I thoroughly enjoyed what we had. First we started with a dozen of their speciality, smoked chicken wings. These things were humongous. Beautifully smoked and very tender. A must have when you come here. We ordered a wedge salad, outstanding. The bacon on there was delicious. We then shared a half of an order of their delicious Mac and cheese with mushrooms and bacon. This stuff was unbelievable! Creamy with crunchy bacon. Yummy. This is a sports bar. They have a lot of TVs all around, so we were able to watch the Seahawks game. Several great beers on tap. Our service started out slow, but then ended up being awesome. Finished off with a fried bread pudding. What can I say! Yummy! Took a tiramisu home to enjoy later. Also delicious.
