I went in a couple days ago to get a beer and some food with my fiancée and was disappointed. When we first walked in it everyone was nice and friendly, but our server wasn't very attentive. Awesome Happy Hour everyday! Huge portions of fresh food for cheap! Hubby and I had mac n cheese, tri-tip nachos ,cheeseburger with fries and Raspberry cider . Warning to all patrons if you have a complaint do not post on yelp your complaint, the owner cannot handle criticism at all. So my girl friend was in here and posted on facebook that she was there and so we decided to join her for a drink. despite the previous review we gave we decided that going for drinks cant be that bad. well we got there and I ordered a vodka cran, which came to us very very light on the vodka. I brought this up to the server and the server says to me Oh so you are just here to give me a hard time again... I simply asked for a different drink since the one i got was weak and poured badly. The server was rude to me for no reason. then the owner came up and I told him about it. he said that was not ok. we sat and my friend enjoyed her meal and my husband and i enjoyed our drinks. As we were leaving the owner himself followed us almost to the door and then decided to call me out on my previous yelp review calling me a liar. I told him flat out I do not lie and his server decided to laugh at that comment and then come over to us and start yelling at us. My husband got upset and tried to say something but I pulled my husband out the door my husband slammed the door as we left. My husband called and asked the owner for a sit down with him and his lawyers. the owner then got very vulgar and threatened to call the police and said my husband tried to break his window which is a lie all my husband did was slam the door. People that own a restaurant should know that people are going to not always be happy and are going to post on yelp or other social media sites. very bad business practice to call someone out on a review if you are going to run a business it is better to try to resolve the issue and make the next visit better rather than go out of your way to make the next visit worse. For any owner to be that rude and disrespectful to any customer regardless is unprofessional. Personally I will never go back to this establishment and I will personally tell every single person I know about this bad business practices. hey maybe it was because I am a different nationality than him that he felt the need to treat me so poorly and with such bad manners of a business owner. Maybe the way i didnt say anything last time I was there and just posted on yelp offended him. not sure. But I also find it amazing that a server was allowed to talk to customers in such a rude way and then the owner feels the need to follow me out and call me out on my previous yelp review. WOW!!!!!!!! I wish i could give less than one star. I have had bad experiences in the past but this was the worst. I have been a bartender, a server, and a manager and if i had ever treated a customer like that under any circumstance would have been the end of my job right then and there. First and only time I have not tipped on Togo food! I was told my food would be ready in 10min. Called in at 11:50, didn't receive my food until 12:30. That's not why I'm upset! I work in the industry. Just because I'm not your Togo food. Please greet me and say someone will be with you in a moment. Stopped here for a meal and drinks while visiting the area and I was so impressed with how friendly the staff was. The food on the menu looked so good it was hard to decide and our bartender helped me decide and I went with the tuna melt, IT WAS AMAZING! I also throughly enjoyed their unique poppers made with shredded pork, a MUST have! All of the dishes have a unique spin on traditional pub food, and it just makes it that much more tasty! The drink selection was amazing and our whole crew loved our food and service. The only reason it got 4 stars is we had a couple nuisance flies that were annoying while trying to enjoy our amazing food. We will be back, the next time we are in town. read more

We had lunch at Pour House today. Typical PubGrub (hamburger/onion rings and fish tacos), which were fine. The service was good. Management? Not so much. When we got our bill, I noticed I was charged $9.00 for a beer that was listed as $8.50 on the menu. I talked to the lady behind the bar (whom I assume was also the floor manager since my waiter asked her something about the bill). She said "That was a misprint. Double IPA's are $9.00" instead of "So sorry. The menu got misprinted; I'll fix that for you". Considering that there was probably a 300% - 500% markup on the beer (https://blog.bar-i.com/how-to-price-draft-beer), losing a customer over a 50 cent mistake THEY made seems like a poor business plan. read more

My date and I were blown away by everything about this restaurant. They offered to find a seat right after we walked in, were very attentive the entire meal and the food was out of this world. This is the best bar-b-que we've tasted in Bend. The menu has lots of options and the bar has lots of taps. What more can you ask for? Sierra was our sever and she was terrific. read more

The Pour House is easily some of the best food in Bend, and definitely the best BBQ I've had at a restaurant in town. The ribs and chicken are both amazing. The veggie side was also well thought about by the proprietor, and not just some crappy steamed broccoli. Service is adequately excellent -- not too much/not too little. My only complaint? It's far too affordable. You can get out of there on a Friday night with a giant plate of amazing ribs, 2 sides + cole slaw, and two pints of local brew (RPM!) for about $20. After along day of driving, we headed over for some drinks and dinner. We had our 3 dogs so we were out on the patio. No problem! Our server, Ayla, was extremely attentive. She brought ice water for the dogs, took our order and, returned reasonably often to see if we needed anything. I had the pulled pork over mac n' cheese which was phenomenal. We sat outside for lunch today- took awhile to get our order taken and a ridiculous amount of time to get our food. It looked amazing when it arrived but anticipation soon turned to disappointment. My fried chicken sandwich was like WOOD! It was so hard I could barely bite into it. I was tearing off shards of chicken and dipping in ranch to moisten it. Mom had a BBQ chicken breast sandwich and it was the same way! My guess is the chicken was frozen and overmicrowaved to defrost it before cooked. Just terrible! We paid $1.50 extra per person for "garlic was fries" that weren't very warm, caked in garlic and was a smaller portion than a small McDonalds fries. Nobody checked to see how our food was either. My daughter had the turkey melt sandwich and she at least liked hers. I really wish we had sent back our food. It was very expensive and it sucked. I do not recommend this place at all! read more

I love this place!! I have had the Cobb salad and the Caesar salad and both were awesome! My kids lives their cheeseburger and Mac and cheese. Amazing selection of beers on tap and great house Chardonnay! Outdoor seating as well! Our waiter, Victor was as nice as can be!! We will come back here regularly!! We went to the new location for Happy hour in the bar. First the bartender did not know how to make a Gin Collins. Then he gave me a taste of beer in a just washed glass hot and smelled like bleach. The manager was sitting at the bar texting his girlfriend and having a drink him self. The food was cold and tasteless. Next visit for a Friend's birthday. We sat in the dinning room. Table of 8. Half the food brought out was cold. The bbq tasted days old, the tacos were drowned in sauce. No one said one good thing about the food. The server was on it at least. I'm typically a big fan of this place. The food and drinks have always been good. The bartender (Victor is his name I think?) is awesome, and always gives great service! However, yesterday I was disgusted and will never step foot in this restaurant again. I witness what appeared to be a Manager yell at a cook. Like full on, curse words yelling. How distasteful to do this in front of customers. The employee looked in shock and handled it well - much better than I would have. If this place treats employees like this IN FRONT of its customers, I can't imagine behind the scenes. For this reason, I cannot support a business that enables this behavior. P.S. We used to love this place, but the last time we went, they didn't have the batter-dipped french fries that we adored. The fries were okay, but just like everyone elses and not batter-dipped. Those fries were the main reason we frequented the restaurant - I'm hoping that was just a one-time deal and they will have them again in the future. The sandwiches are still good and the beer selection is good, although last time we called ahead and were told there was a specific type of beer I was after, and when we got there, they said they didn't have it. So the disappointment with the beer miscommunication, coupled with the plain old fries turned me off. Not sure we will return. read more

While I understand this is a tourist town and there's no sales tax in Oregon, I don't appreciate having my wallet abused for simple pub food. I know for a fact that this food doesn't cost them nearly that much to make. $15 patty melts pfffft.
