Absolutely love getting some shots here. The nerd garnish is fantastic and a lesser known fact is any shot can be upgraded to a full drink for a few dollars. Personally I think keeping them as shots is better flavor wise, but if you want a strong drink you can't go wrong. They have drinks such as butter beer too! Their menu is huge and a lot of fun to look through and debate on what you want to try. The staff is nice enough and the bar/seating areas are nice. I didn't stay long, but I stopped by here on a Thursday night to try their $3 White Gummy-bear shot. It was a 10/10 shot for me, but not super effective if ya know what I mean. Nice method of operation however, I noticed that when we bought rounds everyone did not get their 2nd chip. My boyfriend and I were visiting downtown at Petersburg Florida for the first time. We stopped in at pour judgement while bar hopping but found ourselves getting comfortable here. The owners were on site and very friendly and welcoming. The bartender was helpful with guiding us through the huge drink menu and making cocktails based on our drink preference. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon and the music choice was alternative from early 2000s which we both enjoyed. They had about 8-10 flatscreen with sports and movies. There is a passport aspect to introducing you to every shot available; though that's in the works it wasn't available today. There is all you can drink Sunday for $20 excludes shot and craft cocktails so need to be creative. They do have a panini machine for sandwiches. Came in for post Sunday brunch and specials. So we sat at the bar where each bartender walked past us like we weren't there. I mean straight up ignored us. Carefully washed shot glasses right in front of us, didn't look up when we're called out "excuse me" to get his attention. The one who keeps his hair in a bun. Then after one of us shouted excuse me over the music he comes over and says "did you just yell at me I don't like that" they once we responded saying we didn't like being ignore he said "if you're going to have an attitude I'm not going to serve you" Don't go here. Especially if you're black. They are clearly racist here. I know of a few other black people who have been here and made the same complaint! read more

Really impressive shot list. I think there is something like 250 or so craft shots listed in their shot book. Comfortable atmosphere and really engaging and knowledgeable bartenders. It's right on the popular Central Ave strip, nestled between a diverse combination of restaurants and clubby bars. The ambiance itself is similar to most bars in the area. However, Pour Judgement is known primarily for being a "shot bar." That is, they offer a wide range of creative and delicious shots. Their menu book is neatly arranged on the bar, offering not only craft cocktails, wine, and beer. But, also a large list of shots they offer. They categorize them nicely in their menu. First, there's a list of top 100 shots. These include delicious offerings like the Nerds Rope, which tastes like those little yummy candies and is adorned around the rim of the glass with crushed Nerds candies. The menu also has categories for shots by the liquor, including their own creative craft shots as well as "traditional" shot offerings. They even have seasonal special shots like the Cookies and Cream and Pumpkin Pie shots. Their happy hour offers BoGo well cocktails (not including craft cocktails), beer, and wine. I literally watched three bartenders bypass a couple that was waiting from the time I came in to the time I told them they should not patronize this bar (30 minutes) due to the disrespect they showed them. Last night my friends and I were racially profiled at Pour Judgement (The shot bar downtown) Every Friday after our game we go out for a drink. Each time we go, it's a bout 8 of us buying a round each. The bartenders always leave with a good tip from our group. Last night we didn't think it would be any different. One of my friends paid for her round on her card but was going to leave cash for a tip. The bartender saw the receipt and stated that we needed to reevaluate the receipt because he does not work for free! He even clapped his hands at us. ****I want to add ,I didn't see him say anything about a tip to anyone else that night. After his comment, The bartender deliberately started to ignore us! When I talked to the manager Mellisa Powell she tried to justify his actions by saying that her bartenders has gone through physical abuse and there was a tip issue by other customers in the past and we must understand his frustration. Overall , even if the staff had problems in the past with other customers, this is no way to address anyone especially about the customers money and how/when they choose to leave a tip. The establishment did not to try to correct the issue, but instead we were singled out. It's sad because we literally can't go anywhere in St.Pete without being looked at sideways and being disrespected. read more

However, coming from the hospitality industry and hearing from a friend of mine that the owner was in the industry and built this business, I wanted to support. When I tell you I clearly used poor judgment. The staff is completely Racist! 7.4.21 sat. At the bar for 30 minutes gentleman in grey shirt served everyone before serving us and others sitting at bar prior to serving us. I could not believe it. He would not even make eye contact and when he did and I tried to get his attention he act as if I didn't exist and proceeded to help new patrons again. If you you are a African American you will not only be poorly judged, you will also not receive a pour to being with. Not recommend for people of color. read more
