**DOUBLE GOAT ALERT** My first ever double GOAT review. One of my work clients loves when I come in to bring the office lunch since I usually try to bring them food from a restaurant they've never been to. Nothing is worse than the rep that brings Fresh Kitchen, Chipotle, and the other fast food garbage. It's also a little difficult finding a nice restaurant near the pier in St. Pete that is open for lunch. Luckily I found Juno & The Peacock. I walked in around 11am. It was a little confusing as I was trying to order a bunch of food items to go and anything that was a raw food item they refused to order for me. So then, I had to call my clients and ask them for their backup food options. I was confused as I had never heard of a policy like this. Anyways, for myself I ordered the $16 Crispy Brussels Sprouts!!! Wow!!! 9.5/10!!! Finally a place in Tampa Bay that can do brussels correctly. I thought they were excellent. And if you know me, I'll order brussels sprouts on any menu, anywhere. So happy I found these. And even better, I thought I'd just get a $16 Beekeeper flat bread. Wow, oh wow! I was shocked. Most flat bread flat out sucks. This one, was so dang good. You can really taste the hot honey. And the dough, the crunch. Whoa, I was impressed. Now, I have to go back and try more food items. My wife brought me here to celebrate my birthday and it started off bad. We had a reservation and we showed up a few minutes early but we still hate a 15 minute wait. But several tables were sat before us, who walked in after us. Then a waitress looked at me and proceeded to look in several tab books and then she decided to move them away from me and place them on another wait station. Lastly our table or both was not clean when we were sat. There were a lot of crumbs on the seats that were very visible. At this point I was very uncomfortable and ready to go but my wife wanted to make my day special. So after being sat we were greeted by our server "GLORY" and let me say that she saved the day. She had a huge smile and she was very warm and welcoming. We started with rock-a-fella oysters and a very delicious crab cake. The oyster were overdone but the crab cake was the best I've had south of Baltimore. It was full of crab meat and hardly any filler. My wife had the Crab Louie and my Sis had the crispy chicken sandwich. Glory fixed me something special because I couldn't decide between several menu choices. So my meal had sausage, egg and potatoes. We all loved our food very much and with Glory's kindness and personality, it made our dining experience wonderful. She was able to have the oysters removed from our table and she surprised me with a sweat treat. We also had mimosas with orange and peach elder flower. Glory informed us that the dinner menu was amazing and that we needed to return for that. Our experience was good once we were sat and one of the mangers came over and apologized for the oysters and the dirty both, he was very sincere which was much appreciated. The atmosphere and ambiance was very nice and I could see this being a gem of the city of St Pete. I do highly recommend this establishment and if you're lucky you'll get Glory as your server. Met several of my family here and everyone enjoyed it. The French toast is definitely unique. it comes cubed in each little bite is super crunchy. My daughter had an appletini and it's her new favorite drink. My uncle had the fried chicken thigh sandwich and it was huge and he said it was so juicy and flavorful. We started with the roasted brussels sprouts, they packed so much flavor. They have a blackberry gas streak, which makes them a little sweet along with sunflower seeds and pickled red onions, which sounds like an odd combo, but they will knock your socks off. Had another delightful meal and Frank, our server, added to it with his attentiveness. We really like the small, not so small, seafood tower. Wonderful oysters,shrimp, crudo and more. That could have been our meal. Thank goodness we chose to share the seafood scampi. It filled both of us with more to take home. However, even though we were there early, they were out of the great corn bread. There was one big disappointment. The valet parking was full at 5:30 and I had to park quite a few blocks away. I had the breakfast flatbread and a friend had the bacon, egg, and Gouda breakfast sandwich. If I could've eaten the whole flatbread I would've. It was so light and not heavy and rich like most others I've tried. The espresso martini was delicious as well and I can't wait to go back for another one. I came here for lunch and I loved it. You have the option of eating indoors or outside which has nice outdoor seating. Inside is aesthetically pleasing. They also have rooms for large parties or for conference groups. The service was very good. Our server was Staci C and she was amazing; knowledgeable of the menu, pleasant, personable. I would give this review 4.5 stars instead of 5 but my Caesar salad was incredible. The salad was very very good with salmon added but be warned this salad costs $35.00. Yes $35.00 which I think is a little high. A couple of small things that happened. The salmon had skin on it and the skin was upside down on the plate. This poses a confusing stare at the plate not knowing if the chef was on a rush and placed it on the plate skin side up , or that I was supposed to eat the skin ?? Also no prices on cocktails. They all approach $20 each and my spicy margarita had NO garnish in it. Not a lime slice or small slices of jalapeños. Good drink but lacking small expected touches at these prices. This is a spot I've been meaning to check out the times I've been to st.Petersburg. I've finally been able to go for lunch! We shared Monica's Cornbread, which is cornbread with a hot honey butter, jalapeño, and fontina. We also shared the Truffle Pommes Frites. Both were fantastic! (Note: I recommend wearing bug spray as there were quite a few bugs once our food arrived.) We ordered the Brussels sprouts, margarita pizza, and the crispy chicken sandwich. I wouldn't recommend the Brussels sprouts, as they were on the dry side and I think need more sauce. The crispy chicken sandwich was delicious and came with fries. The margarita pizza was a flatbread and is a great size, definitely shareable between two people. Our waitress was Jordan, she was very friendly and even offered to take pictures of us. She checked up on us throughout our meal and constantly filled up our waters. They have street parking out front and also offer valet. I recommend making a reservation for dinner. read more

The vibes and atmosphere were great and, considering the high prices, what I think you are often paying for at these kinds of places. Thankfully, this mostly wasn't a case of style over substance. We got the cornbread to start which wasn't anything special and could be skipped. When I informed the server that I cannot eat any beef or pork, he let me know that the chicken sandwich I ordered is fried in the same frier as pork and that they could instead cook it in a pan for me, which I really appreciated. I didn't think the sandwich would be anything special, but it was exceptionally delcious! Unexpectedly, the fries tasted kind of stale though. My friend got the truffle breakfast burger and was disappointed finding it too heavy and lacking any fresh element (she tasted and preferred the chicken sandwich as well). But she loved her espresso martini. Had a wonderful meal at Juno and the Peacock. We decided to go for lunch because my company gave me a gift card and the lunch menu looked so good! We were pleasantly surprised! We got the crab cake appetizer and the brussel sprouts, both were fantastic. My husband and I also got the lobster roll. The lobster roll was one of the best lobster rolls I've had even after going to Maine. I would note it's more expensive than a traditional roll but it's packed with flavor and meat. The service was actually wonderful and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful! I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu. I also really liked that you could get any salads on their menu for the same price as the arugula salad upcharge. I ended up getting the corn salad and it was wonderful. It probably was the worst I have ever had a very thin cut was tough. I couldn't even cut through it no flavor. Also, The bread service is a rip off. My niece/Goddaughter and her finance had their civil vows in Florida. I was lucky to get to join them. When we walked into Juno & the Peasant all happy, the hostess said, "Is this a special occasion?" YES!, these two just married!!!! They offered warm congratulations, and not two minutes later the waitress was delivering free champagne glasses for our party of five. What a treat!!! From start to finish, the service was spectacular and I gave a huge tip! The food was wonderful. Two of us had the Shrimp Po' Boy with an amazing sauce. Just loved it! It's a very warm and welcoming place, with a nice dining room and some outdoor seating. This will be a MUST visit when I go back to Saint Pete! read more
