We're big fans of Pouring Glory over here. The space is pretty small and cozy. The vibes are very warm, casual, Fort Worthy. It's all about beer, really, and the food. Great sandwiches, burgers, fries, and tots. They even have funnel cake fries. And apparently their IPA beer-battered fish and chips are well known and beloved around these parts. Great pub food, a strong beer menu, but mixed service puts Pouring Glory within sight of the top of gastro-scale. I've been a few times, always for lunch or happy hour. I've never had to wait for a table. I'm always delighted to find New Holland Dragon's Milk on draught, a rare delight. To me, this is a sign that Pouring Glory has a customer base that drinks weird beers cuz Dragon's Milk is definitely not for everyone. I also went for a flight of fall beers at one visit and found a mixture of faves (Founder Breakfast Stout & Rahr Pumpkin) and new brews to try. I've tried the 3 Tacos deal ($12.99) and the quantity was enough to fill me up. The tortillas were puffy flour and lightly pan-fried. We tried the impossible burger, which comes with a branded bun, a fun presentation detail. Impossible meat always astounds in it's beef-likeness. Pouring Glory is a bit of a walk from the other places on South Main and Bryan. I wish it was closer to Summer Moon so it could provide another option for dinner on a night when we want to hop some of the bars. I never even realized that you could make such a glorious food. The Korean tacos were good although I'd probably order something different next time (I've got my eye on the spicy shrimp) My only knock on this place was they only has 3 employees working. That made for one frantic server running about and 2 people in the kitchen. Props to them for making it work but this place is obviously a great spot but you gotta be able to keep up with the demand. My husband loves IPAs so I was excited to take him here to try the flights. It has an amazing decor. Exposed brick, industrial metal, large patio and huge glass and metal doors that open in good weather. We each picked a flight (43 choices) and they have a cute holder they come on with your card. We ordered loaded brisket nachos (Irish nacho way with potatoes instead of chips) and Cajun tots to go with them. I was not a fan of the brisket nachos simply because the brisket was very fatty and chewy. The tots were overcooked and crumbly but the PG tot sauce was good. I loved everything about the beer choices and the way the flights are served. Wish they were a little colder but that's just my preference. Our waitress was helpful and we had good service. I was glad that Fort Worth Burger Week had brought me over here, I'd been wanting to try this place. They have an extensive list of a craft beers and I was happy to be able to try a new Texas craft beer. COVID-19 wise; employees and customers (when not sat) are both required to wear masks. The inside is pretty small, it's looks as if they have space the seating out - but possibly not - however it was quiet when we dined in. On to the burger - it was pretty good, loaded with shredded buffalo chicken adding some tang. The beef patty tasted as if it had been char-grilled or similar - overall a very enjoyable burger. We were offered the option between fries or tots. However the fries which arrived were literally potato slices - not what we were expecting - they were ok, but fries would have been waay better. Let's me set the the mood here. We came down to Fort Worth to visit Martin House Brewery. Been a fan of theirs for a long time! We drive right into and head straight to the brewery. To our surprise, it was their 25th anniversary! So naturally, there were a bunch of food trucks and vendors there on the premises. Anywho, 5 hours of day drinking later we are HUNGRY. Four of us went to have dinner and a beer on a Friday night during Fort Worth Hamburger Week. We didn't know until we walked in that it's really a bar with some food. It's small and there were a number of people seated at the bar and at some of the tables. We seated ourselves and then went up to the bar to order a beer before Happy Hour ended. We didn't want the three beers that were available on the Happy Hour menu, so we grabbed menus and went back to the table to wait for service. Okay, I finally got over and try this place out after hearing about it from a few friends and reading good reviews about it online. First of all the location it's kind of terrible but once you get there and get inside it's really cool, they have an excellent selection of beer especially if you're into microbrews, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The menu is unique and original they have several craft burgers that all sound and look delicious my two friends each had a different burger and we're both very happy, I happened to spot that they serve poutine fries with brisket on top, the only critique I have is that the gravy was a little too thin and they served it in a dish that was too deep leaving an opportunity for the fries to become soggy however they were really good. Tried Pouring Glory for the first time. Lunch on a Wednesday. It is a small place, about 10 tables and a nice bar. I happened to be the only one here for lunch today. I was greeted immediately with a smile and was directed to choose my table. The server brought over the menu and quickly got my drink. I ordered the Fried Bacon Thai burger, as it sounded very interesting. They have many choices for beer. I will have to come back when I am not working to try some of them. This is an awesome burger!! I really like the "PG" brand on the bun. The burger was flavorful and I really liked the chile sauce. The fries bacon was interesting as it was a thicker cut if bacon and very crispy.
