Talked to them about siding for my home--they set up an appt to tell me all about it, etc. ---we chose the siding, etc and within a few days they notified me of the date they would start (which was a little less than a month away -October 18). Did not hear anything else until a couple of days before they were supposed to start, I get a call that the group (or whatever) they deal with for waste management cannot deliver the dumpster to my location. I was told that they are working on getting it straightened out and will try to go a different route, and as soon as they get it arranged they will set up a new date to start. Don't hear anything and after about a week, I call. Told by (supposdedly) one of the VP's that was working on it that they were still trying to get everything arranged. Another week - no call or anything, so I call again. Same story from same person. About 5 days later, I call again because I haven't heard ANYTHING. I did not call last week, so I called today. Now I'm told that they can't do it at all because the group they use to do the siding does not even come to Jackson! Not just that they can't get a dumpster here, but they can't do it at all! No one ever bothered to call or email me at any time! read more

So over power. Their slidding glass door is junk. I literally have to vacuum out my door track due to the metal shavings it had accumulated from it scraping and my door is very hard to open. Already had them out to fix it once and now I'm waiting for them to call back to fix it again. Also the built in blinds get stuck and are crooked every other time I use them. This is definitely not consistent with the price I paid for the door and if I could I would get my money back and have another company come install a new one. This place is first rate all the way. The first visit is a bit long....but I am assured that they are aware of this and working on condensing it. We had our sad, sad windows replaced and could not be more pleased with everything. Got a call before the appointment to make sure we were ready, got a call the day of, from the Project Manager, to ensure the arrival time. The crew arrived on time and were very professional, answered all of our questions, and spoke English. A quality assurance guy came by later (when it was convenient for us) and made sure we were pleased. Which we were. I highly, highly recommend this company. Seriously, we have been shafted a lot. I am not sure the standard quote for a new roof is 20,000$ but OK! I appreciate the overall inspection but the time it took and the inflated pricing was almost unbelievable! 20,000$ for 13 windows and a sliding door and 20 plus thousand for a roof? For my 'discounted' total of 42,957$ for both. All for a low monthly payment of over 1,000$ per month until I die I am sure. I am not sure who this company is servicing but there is really no way any working person can afford that. I must look like boo boo the fool. Excellent experience from beginning to end. I had new roof as well as new windows and doors. All are very high quality and have lifetime warranty that is transferable. While you can get products cheaper, you will not get the same quality and warranty. All of the workers were very knowledgeable, respectful and were hard workers. One major plus, if anything needs repair or replacement it is free to include labor. We were assigned a project manager and even had quality control inspect the installation. PHR, do yourself a favor.... if it isn't business hours, or probably when people are having dinner with their family, don't call. I now have you in my phone saved under contacts as "Roof and Window assholes" but will probably be blocking you today once I ask my tween how this phone works. About your estimate and in-home visit I was unfortunate enough to suffer through last month; shockingly overpriced. Your sales person, who was probably barely 18 years old, stood there and tried to tell me things about construction that I'm very familiar with..I didn't tell him I was in the building trade for 25 years...everything he told me was a total crock. Killed any chance of doing work for me. Then he asks me about my family, what they do, where they work, how many kids I have....I wasn't in the mood, nor did I have the time. I wasn't going to give some stranger my life story...I'm sure he was just trying "to get under my skin and be endearing" but people like me are busy, I don't have time for wasteful sales visits and nonsense. The sales guy tells me my "neighbors are having their windows replaced by them." I ask which neighbors...I know everyone and nobody had new windows done...he changed the subject quickly. I don't like liars..not even white lies. Sorry. Insulting to my intelligence...and again, unnecessary banter I have no time for. Then, he says "you probably hear this a lot but your daughter is very beautiful, how old is she?" WTF? I tell him she's a child and 14 and to focus on giving me the estimate for the work. This guy never so much as phased or embarrassed by himself or my reactions. Totally clueless. But at this stage I was DONE. He starts to show me a video on his ipad.....but...I stopped him...I literally turned away and started playing Candy Crush on my phone so he would realize I was done with him..I turned up the volume as high as I could....He just sat there in my kitchen, staring over into my living room, watching my 13 year old daughter doing her homework. Creepy........My wife then left the room.....he couldn't take a hint that I wanted him to give me the ESTIMATE and get out of my house quickly. Estimates I had gotten for my roof from 5 reputable and highly regarded roofing contractors: averaged $9,500 for the complete entire job. My house is only 1200 Sq Ft. He never got on my roof and I never saw him measure anything....He fiddled around in his ipad putting in bogus numbers..or maybe they have a huge standard estimate to cover twice the real costs? I don't know what they do, and I don't care anymore. PHR estimate: $25,000.00 WTF????!!!!! I started laughing. You know what the young man said? "Well, you're going to get a crappy roofing job that will fall off in a year or two or leak and cause mold and your kids could get breathing problems or die from your decision to go "cheap". At this point, my wife, who was listening from the other room came back and asked him in a nice way to leave our house! You would think that would be the end of it.... oh no.....he sat there and started talking about our windows being old and "crap". It was then that I said the "estimate" was done and said to leave my property. ridiculous. By the way, the roof has now been replaced by Alatoona Remodeling....they did a fantastic job..I watched them do the job start to finish and it far exceeded the workmanship and quality of materials used by others...and cost me way less than HALF your quote. read more

A representative from Power Home Remodeling came to our house to give us a free quote. Someone in our neighborhood was using them for a remodel. We are new homeowners and we know our house needs some updates. We thought this would be a good chance to get an idea of what's ahead of us. We made that clear in the beginning of the sales pitch. Jump ahead three and a half hours later and he is still in my house. My husband and I are both working from home today. We also made that clear by constantly checking our email throughout his pitch. I finally had to get up and walk away because my phone was going off so much. Again, three and half hours later we've asked for the quote and told him we will consider it. It is NOT that we don't think their products and services will be up to standard, but this man will not take no for an answer. My husband has expressed that he really needs to get back to work but the man keeps trying to tell us more about financing and the products. I gave them two stars simply because their sales pitch is terrible. They CANNOT enter a home and take this much time out of a working families day. I understand you want to cover all the areas where your company is better than the next. (Trust me... we heard ALL of them.) If you are offering a free quote to neighbors, please be upfront about the time you will be there. And to top it all off, he is STILL here. read more

John was a slick talking sales person who knew almost nothing about home remodeling. He was nothing more than a 100% commission door to door sales guy. After looking at one window John accessed that my siding ( installed two years ago by my Brother) needed replacing and my roof was going to need work. After 20 mins of smok and mirrors, i told him he was a nice kid and should try selling cars or go back to school. HOWEVER, the high pressure sales tactics left such a sour taste in my mouth that I cannot have this company finish my windows. They phone relentlessly and "drop by" because they are "in the neighborhood" wanting to finish the job. The straw that broke the camel's back is that they refused to deal with me directly without my husband present!!!!! SEXIST! I'm fully capable of making a decision on my own without having my husband vouch for my intellect or giving me permission to spend our money. DISGUSTING! Echoing what others have said about the pushy tactics. I accidentally opened the door yesterday thinking it was one of my kid's friends. Guy made it seem like a quick thing but even setting up the appointment took half an hour. I told him I'm busy and have people coming the next day and he promised the guy would be only talking to us a little while and could pop an estimate in our mail box. Figured what was the harm in that. A little while, lol. The guy comes the next day and took nearly 4 hours at our house. Would. Not. Leave. Repeated the same pitch over and over and now reading these reviews I'm afraid they will be following up and harassing me to buy from them. Sigh. Spoke with a young man in BJs Wholesale. He took my information and said they would come out to give an estimate, but my wife needed to be there. I told him that was virtually impossible based on our work schedules and my son's sporting events. On the follow up call I explained (after reading reviews of the company) that I am no longer interested. To date I have received at least 1 call a week for the past four weeks asking me if I am still interested. In reading the replies from the company, they state that because they visit hundreds of homes each day they are able to offer a discount for signing up as the quote is given, but if they visit hundreds of homes each day, couldn't they lump you into the next group of discounted projects if you signed on another day??? If your products are actually superior, let the literature the sale groups pass along stress that fact and stop with the pressure tactics. We had pinnacle replace our windows and the quote for 30+ windows took about 45 minutes (with only one of us present) and the measurements were done very quickly as well. Their crew was in and out in one day. No pressure, no stress and no hard selling. It was a great experience. PHR should take notice. read more

I'd give these guys less than 1 star simply based on their bullying sales tactics. The sales representatives go door-to-door (neighborhoods with a no solicitation policy are not exempt) looking to schedule an appointment to give you an estimate. Fair warning; initial scheduling and sales pitch can take 30+ minutes, easy. Once they come back to give you the estimate and are inside your home, your day is shot. These guys will spend ALL DAY going over options you don't need and they WILL NOT take no for an answer. I must have said "I'm not interested" a dozen times over the span of 3 hours before I finally had to tell the guy to get out of my house in an authoritative tone. When he did finally leave, he was sure to provide his card with a $10K+ quote to fix my 3 bay windows. Since then, they've been back 3 times, one of which happened to be after 9 PM on a weekday. read more

The whole of my remodeling experience with Power Home Remodeling Group has been easy, convenient and very professional. They finished my roof a few weeks ago and their work is great. Like others have said, I was totally turned off by the sales team over-staying their welcome and bullying us to make the sale. Good businesses allow people time to process information before making a huge investment. Major bullying tactics from this one. The sales team also seemed oblivious to subtle (and not so subtle) cues. After an hour, we had company stop by and they didn't seem to care or adapt their approach, right after emphasizing their customer-focus. I loved them! Sales pitch was a little long, but with a large investment I want to make sure I get all the information about each company to compare evenly. In order to get an accurate cost you need to invest time to properly measure each window (which in our case was 29). So our sales pitch was about 3 hrs. When we did decide to go with Power (no one could beat their warrantee OR quality) the next step is a walk through to ensure all measurements were taken, verify color choices (both widow and sash - pardon if I'm miss labeling), and set a date. 3 days prior to install a confirmation call was made. On install day, the project manager called to verify who was assigned to our job and when they are arriving. ON TIME. Installer came to the door introduced himself and told me the 3 other installers would be along shortly and he was just going to start unloading the windows. Job was started 30 minutes later. During install the guys were courteous, kind and polite. Made sure I was comfortable with coming in and out of the home, etc. I was able run a couple of errands, pick up the kids from school, etc. After install comes the project manager. This is where it goes above and beyond for us. Nit picking and inspecting each and EVERY window inside and out. Made a couple of small caulking touch ups. He also noticed one more small touch up I, or anyone else would've never noticed, on one of the larger windows. So there will be someone coming out to touch it up on the outside. My point is... someone to make it 100%. I LOVE POWER! read more
